I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the customer service my family and I received during our recent visit to your Cerritos location at 11488 South St., Cerritos, CA 90703. I have always enjoyed coming to this location and have never experienced anything like this before, which is why this interaction was so upsetting. While placing an order for my family, our order was understandably large. After completing most of the order, I realized I had forgotten to add one additional item. Instead of simply assisting me, the employee responded with, "Well, why couldn't you just say that in the beginning?" Her tone was rude, dismissive, and came across as unnecessarily sarcastic. From that point forward, her attitude only became more disrespectful. She began repeating every ingredient back to me in an exaggerated manner, as if I was incapable of understanding or communicating my own order. It felt demeaning and completely uncalled for. As paying customers, we expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the size of our order. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were informed that no manager was working that day, leaving us with no opportunity to address the issue in person. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the employee's name, but I am confident the incident can be verified through your security camera footage and by speaking with the employees who were working at the time. In fact, several of her coworkers appeared to recognize her behavior was inappropriate and apologized to us on her behalf. I am not writing this simply to complain--I genuinely enjoy your restaurant and have always had positive experiences in the past. However, this level of customer service is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards I have come to expect from your establishment. I respectfully request that this incident be reviewed, including any available camera footage, and that appropriate coaching or corrective action be taken to ensure future customers are treated with professionalism and respect. First time here and I can see why the line is so long at 9:30pm! I was craving an açaí bowl and of course at 9pm all places are closed. Thank you Yelp for leading me to this little popular gem! They have a wide selection of bowls with so many ingredients to chose from. They have 3 friendly workers asking what ingredients you want, each at a different station of items, like base, fruits and dry toppings. Anything can be customized around the bowl you chose from their menu or make one of your own. The ambiance is totally chill but with only 3 tables be ready to take it to go if there's no room. They do have a lot of free standing chairs to hang around in as well. Glad I was able to satisfy my sweet tooth tonight with a healthy option. I'll be back! read more

Both bowls were super fresh, perfectly chilled, and not overly sweet like some places that just load it with syrup. You can actually taste the real açaí, which I appreciated. The fruit toppings were bright, ripe, and generous (not skimpy at all), and the granola had that perfect crunch without being rock hard. One bowl leaned more classic and refreshing, the other had a slightly richer, dessert vibe--both hit in their own way. My friend got her bowl without the peanut butter and you can see the individual seeds and stuff better, making a gorgeous bowl. We often make the 25-30 minute drive out here to get our bowl. In general, we love this place. However, today was such poor management, it should be noted. They had the poor workers in there with no AC, not nearly enough staff coverage for a BOGO free promo, and not enough product. We weren't even able to wait for a bowl because they didn't have enough to serve everyone. I genuinely feel bad for them. They probably had the worst customer service day of work of their lives. VERY poorly managed promo. Big bummer. This is not the first issue with their promos, though it is the worst I have seen; we were turned away 1.5 hours before closing. I'm not sure why we aren't learning :( Suggestions: have an in-store option for the promo for customers in case the app is not functioning, increase staffing for special promotional deals, expedite store repairs so your staff are working in livable conditions read more

Love this place but bad roll out for a promo... This is one of my GO TO places for açaí bowls which says a lot so I was stoked to hear they were doing a BOGO promotion. The only thing was the experience of it was pretty clumsy and one of the ladies making the bowls made an announcement to listen for names was rude and condescending to the point where her coworker said to tone it down. Everyone else seemed chill, especially the lady behind the register calling out the names. Again, love this place but better execution for that kind of big promo. read more
