My mother passed away and I was looking for a service to clean out her home of over 30 years. I contacted LoadUp sent them photos of each room of the house and the back yard that also had items that needed to be removed. They sent me a quote that was reasonable so I book the service. A clean out that was supposed to take one day is now on day four. The loaders truck is currently broken down next to the house. They were told that the cloths washer and dryer as well as the refrigerator were not supposed to be take because they worked and were being sold with the house. They took them anyway. There are piles of trash in the driveway behind the house as well as along the side of the house. The storage room on the rear porch has not been emptied like it was supposed to be. The loaders were supposed to call when they finished so I could come lock the house up since there are some family air-looms still in the house. When they were called multiple times to see if they were finished and nobody answer the phone I went to the house to see what was going on and found that everyone had left leaving the front door wide open. The owner of the third party company the was contracted to do the job said his people met "a guy" doing work for my neighbor and that his who has my appliances he is trying to contact him to get them returned and that the "guy" wanted the metal and wood and was going to pick them up in the morning. During this whole process LoadUp has called me twice trying to increase their "guaranteed" price. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. Load up driver took two mattresses from my house and dumped them onto the yard of someone in a neighboring town. I was notified by the Sheriff's Department because they found a box for a delivered mattress with my address on it. DO NOT USE Go Load UP. They cannot be trusted. Had an appointment to have a spring-free trampoline disassembled and removed today between 12-4:00. Loader called at 1:30 to say he would be here at 4:00. We discussed this type of trampoline (which I had specified on my order and sent a picture) and he said he was familiar. Loader seemed to plan to just haul it away but we have a privacy fence so I told him I wasn't sure that was possible. He said not to worry they would get it out of here. 4:20 and no one here and no word from him. I messaged asking if they were still coming and no response. Checked the order on Loadup about 4:45 to contact them and there's a message that more information is needed about my project (I'd checked the appointment tracker multiple times this afternoon and this was the first time I got this message). I messaged back and forth with someone in customer service and I will be getting a refund. But of course they can't give me back the Saturday afternoon I wasted waiting around for the hauler. We ordered a mattress and frame, which arrived separately, which means we worked with Load Up twice this week, with very different results. This past Wednesday, a Load Up team showed up. We were very impressed with Load Up that day: their communication about arrival time was excellent, they were able to tell us the hour when the team would arrive, we were able to communicate directly with the team while they were en route, the team arrived on time, and the two guys worked hard to set up the mattress and remove our old mattress. Today, a different person driving a completely different truck showed up to assemble our new frame, making it clear that Load Up uses subcontractors, which is fine. However, with this guy, we were unable to communicate with him en route, and we had to wait a very long time for him to show up even after he said he was coming. When he did show up he was alone. I couldn't believe there was only one guy to haul an entire bed frame up a flight of stairs and assemble it by himself! I said this to him several times, and he brushed it off, saying he could handle it. But he couldn't! I immediately texted the Load Up people to complain about them sending one guy. They responded by saying it was the guy's fault for not bringing a second person with him. So, no one was taking responsibility for the situation. He proceeded to unwrap the frame and then "roll" it up the stairs by himself. Several times the frame fell open, straining the limits of our stair rail and making me worry the frame would be damaged. In the end, it was. There were multiple tears in the fabric, and because he had rolled it along the floor, by the time it arrived in our bedroom it had pet hair and dirt all over it. In addition, he caused a major scratch on our hardwood floors. From there, it was clear that he didn't know how to assemble the bed frame. At one point he said, "I used to work for Serta, so I can probably figure it out." We were very unimpressed. Load Up has a problem with inconsistent quality in contractors. read more

Fair price for a medium-sized load. LoadUp sent two men and a pickup truck. They removed a pile of construction debris from the backyard and went into our attic to clear away odds and ends previous owners left, including bamboo carpet poles, kitchen supplies, and rigid ducts. This happened on a miserable, rainy day. At the end of the job the junk was in the truck, the work areas were clean, and we were extremely happy with the result.
