We bought a new house fairly recently, so shysters like this get your name off a list to see if you want to sell your house. Why would I want to sell (or buy) a house I just bought? What is the thought process here? Does anyone respond to these people when they bombard you with junk mail? So to get these people to stop sending junk mail to your house you have to jump through hoops. They will not respond to an email asking to be removed. They will respond to an email if you say you want to sell your house. But not to get off their junk mail list. When I finally got these shysters to stop harassing me through the US mail, then they started with email. And yes, they will not respond to any email to stop. It literally takes 20 seconds to remove someone's address from their list. Takes 20 seconds to remove an email from their list. They do not want to. They are of the opinion, if we keep harassing this person, they will sell us the house they just bought (for some reason). People - remember, if these people harass people like this, how do you think they will be when it comes to buying your home? Is this someone you want to trust with something as important as you house? If you want to sell, you're going to make way more money selling the normal way but if you want to sell to a broker, there are legit, honest companies that will buy your house. Not these people. Read the reviews online. Total scammers. Also note how many people here on yelp they respond to. Look at the ones they do not respond to, like me. Why? Because they're going "yeah, we harass people, that's what we do, so what?" That tells you everything, folks. Please, please beware of Brothers Buy Homes, total shysters. Edit: The guy responded here and claims "we're not shysters" They are. I responded to the email on their junk mail they sent and they refuse to respond. Why have an email? I emailed multiple times. No response. Don't tell me they're not shysters. Tells me I have to call. Why? Why is email not good enough to get you to stop harassing me? Now I have to waste more time calling these shysters calling? Last thing I want to do is give them my phone number. My realtor, title company, and mortgage broker all complained to me about Ryan's lack of response, and the difficulty they had communicating with him. My first issue with Ryan arose early on when my agent and I showed up to meet with the building inspector for the standard contractor's report on the property - only to find the electricity turned off - and the breaker box locked. Thankfully my inspector was very resourceful and was able to get into the box, but had he not been able I would have been charged for his time and either an incomplete report, or pay him again to come back to finish the inspection. And that's how it started.... I'll spare you the rest of the details and incidents where I felt I was treated rudely and unprofessionally by Ryan Charlton and how the sale was delayed due to Ryan's apparent lack of attention for detail. Long story short, I would not work with Ryan again. Period. I'd ask for another agent or walk away. Turns my stomach to think he got paid (and well paid at that!) to behave that way.
