I started a refinance in early August of 2020. Loansnap told me it would take about 25 days to close. Fast forward to late January of 2021. It has almost been seven months and we still have not closed our loan. I attempted countless times to get an update either through email, their text or actually calling in, but they never had an update for me, just that they are working as fast as they could. I finally decided to cancel my loan and go through a different company. I finally reached a human being and told them I was canceling and that I'd like to talk to a manager and his response was, "What difference does it make since you are canceling?" A manager finally called me back and said that their company bit off more than they could chew and even now, he couldn't give me an estimate of how long it would take to close, so he said it was good that I was going through another company. While the manager I finally talked to seemed apologetic, it seemed like a case of being too little, too late. Overall, dealing with Loansnap was one of the most awful customer service experiences of my life. I will never go through them again. read more

Used lending tree to try refi and decided to go to DLJ. So glad we went with DLJ as everyone that we came in contact with was very professional and friendly. Questions and confusions were resolved quickly by phone and email. Natasha who we communicated with the most was very professional and awesome! She answered any questions we had quickly and gave us mulitple options with out cash out refi. We never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. She made our experience very easy and stress free. They collected all the doc's, even in pandemic they said mandatory home visit appraisal , took pics of my home. Horrible experience! Got a quote from lending tree...rate seemed too good to be true. When I called to see what their actual rates were, I could not get a straight answer from Francis. Felt like I was speaking to a used car salesman. Called again to try and get someone else, but Aaron said that Francis was the only one available to speak. They are using bait and switch. Lending tree quoted them at 2.2%apr for a 30 yr fixed. Obviously too good to be true. I was willing to see what their best rate was but couldn't even get there. read more

July 2021 update: After working with a competing lender on another refinance over the last 2 months (which just closed), they had indicated that even they were having significant problems during Covid during the September to February time frame. I want to be fair and share that perhaps Loan Snap was not alone in undergoing significant issues during that time frame due to Covid and the way businesses were operating that time, coupled with the enormous influx of loans that came in during that time frame (as confirmed by the 2nd lender). Although the refinance took much longer than expected, Loan Snap did follow through with all of their terms and did close the loan end of March. Perhaps the experience will be a much better one now that businesses have been re-open for sometime. read more

In early September I applied for and was approved for a mortgage refinance with LoanSnap. We agreed on terms, they sent a notary so I could sign papers, which I did, but in spite of their website saying that they close most loans in 20 days, I'm still waiting in late November. I did see that they have received apx. 32 one and two star ratings on the Trust Pilot website since I got started with them. Something is up if they can't fund their obligations. read more

Won't recommend loan snap. I gave all the required documents , even called our bank for our loan balance to speed up the process but our loan was just sitting there for months . They let our locked interest expired then I was told that there's penalty for the expiration when it's their fault for not processing our loan . Their service is very poor . I think they don't have good loan processors , they're taking in many loans but can't close them on time . read more

I just finished re-financing my home with a 30 year fixed loan. DLJ had very competitive rates, and very low fees. Best of all, DLJ staff kept me informed of the status of the loan at each step. I cannot say enough great things about DLJ Financial and Alex Ortiz! I tried to refi in 2013 with Quick'n~Loans and they are engineered to screw things up! By the time I told my broker there I was done with them, I was hoping to never have to refi again. I decided to put my info into LendingTree and I got a call from LoanSnap within like 5 minutes. They were really easy to talk to and sympathized with my current situation (I was trying to refinance with another company who were a nightmare and each day a whole new person was popping up and saying they were now working with me and didn't know what the last person had done! Avoid Freedom Mortgage!!!) This is my third refinance and this time, with Loansnap, I was able to get a 2.75 interest rate- I had been at 4.1 with Roundpoint. For the entire time doing the refi process, I worked with one, and only one person, Jacob Scavuzzo. Jacob was wonderful to work with. He was extremely responsive and always gave me a simple, direct, and easy to understand answer. My experience with LoanSnap happened to go extremely well and smooth. The only slight snafu, which wasn't really a problem, was they sold my loan so fast, that on 2/28 I got a letter saying I needed to pay a new company on 3/01. The number on the letter was wrong too. But Jacob was able to respond immediately and give me the correct number and I made my first payment through the automated system. Today (3/3) the official packet from Arvest finally arrived explained how to set up Automatic Withdrawal, etc. So 99.999% of my experience was super smooth and I would recommend anyone refi with them and work with Scavuzzo. read more

Adan Munoz apparently does not sleep because he responds to any question almost immediately. I refinanced my home and the process was smooth because Adan was so on top of everything! He got me the best rate and kept his word. My only concern was that he was slow to give me a Loan Estimate with the agreed upon rate and terms bc it appears they were waiting to see if the rate would go down. When it didn't, he honored his word, which is really the best thing one can ask for. He is patient and good at explaining things.
