WOW, it is finally open! Took them a while but they're here and they're pretty tasty. We tried to stop by last weekend on a Saturday, but there was NO way that was going to happen. I'm thinking the fire hooping out in the courtyard might have something to do with that. Given that I was dealing with a migraine headache, I didn't want to sit inside where the noise was magnified, we opted to sit outside where the air was fresh from rain, and there were tables that were covered and along the wall. We sat under a large fan, in an area lit by edison light bulbs and surrounded by topiary. It was lovely. Our table had been carved from a single log and during a busy night, I'm guessing that it would seat up to 12. The Menu is impressive. It's HUGE with a lot of selections, a lot of plays on words, a few double entendre and such. Playful, I like that. I was pleased to see they have my ABSOLUTE favorite starter on the planet... Buffalo Cauliflower. ZOMG. for $8.95 you get what seems to be a whole head of Cauliflower, with bleu cheese and celery. - I found it odd that we were charged for our dipping sauce, but our waitress was new/training, so I didn't say anything, and it was only $0.50. We perused the alcohol selection, I opted for diet soda, while the husbeast chose a sour beer. I honestly don't remember which it was, but he seemed to like it. It was a local ale/cider blend. Our mains.. I chose the Chicken Caprese entree, it came with a side and a salad. The husband ordered a sandwich, named after a movie, it was a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was HUGE. My meal was sized well, a split chicken breast, with mozz cheese, tomato slices and basil drizzled with vinegar, the side I chose was "garlic green beans." the only slight issue I had was that the green beans were bacon green beans, and that is NO real issue for me. ;) the husbeast decided to get his side as chips. LAWDY the amount of chips was obscene! I will mention that there was a table with 4 people outside near us. The waitress serving them.. wasn't exactly the most professional. At one point,she went off into the darkness with the male of the group. I'm guessing it was her boyfriend, and another waitress came out looking for her. She was gone 10-15 minutes. Fell in love with this place and it's menu. Best menu option names around. Plenty of seating, especially with covid restrictions. The bartender was a bit short and not much for conversing but she was busy and short staffed. I was still impressed by the speed of the food coming out and our drinks being ready. I ordered the Coppertail Shrimp for delivery. I chose blackened chicken. When the food arrived at my door, I opened it up, took one bite of the chicken and it was like rubber. That's what happens to meat when you microwave it. Maybe it wasn't microwaved but something was done during preparation and/ or cooking of this meat that is not good and not normal. I've never had rubbery chicken like that in my entire life. It was so disgusting that I could not even chew and had to spit it out. So , I'm thinking : "OK, I can deal with that. I'll just eat the pasta." I am a foodie and I cook a lot and I know about cooking with alcohol. The pasta tastes just like beer. It literally taste like someone just put beer in the sauce mix and did not allow the alcohol to cook down. The entire dish was a disaster. read more

Well, tonight we went strictly to grub, and grub we did. I was craving a Caesar salad, but after the $4 chicken upcharge, it would have been a $15 salad, and I'm not about that life, so I went with the next healthiest option--the deep fried burrito. This thing was outstanding. The rice and beans were served externally, so the only thing inside the burrito was some tender shredded chicken. Then, after being fried, they doused it with white queso. From the time we arrived for lunch, everything was wonderful. The space is cool with large TV's everywhere and decor of skateboards and 80's/90"'s music playing. Our waitress was cordial and on top of things. We had the Zeus salad and naked wings. Omg! The Zeus was THE BEST EVER! The wings were crispy and I couldn't decide between n which sauce so she brought me out 3 kinds: Fukushima, buffalo and Thai. The Thai was best and hotter than the other two which I prefer. Like most of the other reviews, there are some kinks that need to be worked out. Our server was really friendly and great with the menu... she even came back after taking our order to confirm we really wanted the beer ordered because its a $38 dollars bomber. The menu is pretty large and had some interesting options like lobster corndogs and meatloaf cupcakes... while we were waiting for our food another server stopped by because he couldn't see our glasses and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. He also offered up more information on the menu. The decor is pretty cool but I do have to say the chairs are uncomfortable and the stools at the bar look even worse. The outdoor patio area looks really great and would be fun to hang out at with a group of friends. I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos which were very good but a little heavy on the cabbage which made it for a less than lady like meal to eat....good thing my back was to everyone other than the hubs. He ordered the Meat Bomb flatbread that was honestly more like pizza because the bread was so thick. I did not try this myself but was told the flavor was really good but was cold in the center. We will be back as they are new and have several different things we would like to try. Oh yeah.... the drink were strong. Bonus!!! read more

We stopped by late Saturday night to grab drinks with friends. This is my first time at LBC. It was a pretty cool place. We sat at the high top area. Waitress was attentive, sometimes making small mistakes but it was ok given it was a busy night. For food, we had the dipping trio for $12.99 where you can pick 3 dipping sauces. We picked the hummus, spinach artichoke and beer battered cheese dip. Of the 3, the spinach one was the best. The hummus was too thick and the beer cheese was too watery. It comes with a plate of tortilla chips, fried chips (which tasted stale) and 4 pieces of fried bread. I probably wouldn't order this appetizer the next time. read more

Slow afternoon and my wife said hey I bought a Groupon for a brewery on 19 got a couple flights. Headed down, arrive and I'm surprised how big it is and we walk in. Have to be honest maybe the name shouldn't be brewing... if ya don't actually brew any beer there. Got a flight.. of other peoples beer and a chi-town hotdog. It came out and really it's a 12" sausage and had huge chunks of tomatoes, pickles with hot green peppers. It was a sloppy mess and I had already cut it in half. After the first half I went in knife and fork. First half I tasted bread and sausage. Going at the second half you could actually taste other stuff. The food I saw around us was pretty much the same sloppy looking food I had. Probably won't be back. read more

On Nov. 30, 2024, my daughter and I went to LBC for lunch. We had dined there many times in the past and our meals had always been good. Today was different. First of all, we each ordered a glass of Kendall Jackson Sauvignon Blanc and an appetizer of Chicken Nachos. When the wine was served, we realized that the wine was actually Chardonnay and we informed our waitress. She verified it with the bartender and then brought us the glasses of Sauvignon Blanc that we initially ordered. About halfway into eating the nachos appetizer, my daughter looked closely at it, and then pulled out a long human hair from the appetizer. We informed our waitress and she took it away. We waited(as we asked ) to be served our main dishes. Our meal proceeded . We noticed that our server was the ONLY one taking care of tables. There was a food runner, but service was very slow due to the fact that only one poor server was taking care of the whole restaurant... we estimated there were about eight tables actively needing service. When we finished our meal, we ordered another two glasses of wine. When it didn't get served after 15 minutes, my daughter went over to the bar where the bartender was having an animated conversation with a "friend." My daughter asked about our wine and the bartender told her "They are right over there, you can just take them. My daughter realized the wine was not what we ordered (again) and challenged the bartender and she pulled down our check,looked at it and then poured the correct wine for us, which my daughter brought over to our table herself. Meanwhile our waitress, Cadence, was working very hard to take care of all the tables herself. As we were drinking our wine, Cadence brought our check, and told us she had "comped" the nachos and did not charge us for the second wine. We have NO problem with our server! She was amazing, and considering what she was up against made her a rockstar in our book! BUT the restaurant has greatly gone downhill in cleanliness and food prep since our last visit. My sandwich was soaked in grease on the bottom, and it appeared to be just thrown together. My daughter's shrimp, to me, did not seem entirely cooked, also. It also appeared to us that the service help was not too conscientious about sanitary and health requirements... ie: food carrier had long hair... straggly and unkempt not even secured with any hair restraint or covering. The smell around our table was a mix of Clorox and mildew, also. This will be the LAST TIME we will visit this establishment, I am very sure. I sincerely hope Cadence looks for a job at a more upscale and customer friendly establishment as she was the only good part about our meal. I wouldn't give this restaurant more than ONE STAR... which is me, being generous, and that is for our waitress, Cadence! (She earns FIVE stars) I'll be sure and pass our "experience" at LBC on to all my friends, also. read more

I've been a regular and this was my favorite spot, up until Ian (the manager) snaps at me because drunk people next to me requested a game and I was already watch the same game they requested. Ian goes to change the channel and I just let him know the game was already on that tv, and he snaps back "then why did you ask me to change it". I tried to explain that I wasn't the one that asked, but the he just walked off while I was trying to explain. Brought it up to the bar tender and after I said something, no more service the rest of my time there. Y'all should have given your attitude to the drunk people next to me. My fiancé and I have been here a number of times! Their burgers are amazing. Always had good service. We even were there for Their 2022 New Years celebration and that was super fun, even though they were crowded that day our food and drinks came fast. I'd say try every meal on the menu! Also, love the game nights bandingo and trivia.(which you can win prizes) They offer many ways to watch football basketball,hockey on all the very large tvs all around the resteraunt...so a sportsbar type feel as well.The 2 for well drinks and beer and the 8 items for $8bucks during the daytime is great! they have am amazing DJ DAVE who can make you get up and dance your shoes off on their spacious dance floor! Also offer a "playground"area for kids and games for them to play...darts, golf,ect...!!! Monday nights is a "fast and furious" type of car show with a DJ set up outside on monday nights! The managers Servers, Bartenders and Hostess (bella) are absolutely amazing and hardworking! Always going the extra mile to accomendate us when we dine in at LBC! This is probably one of my favorite places in Palm Harbor! It's hip, big, they have a stage for live music, and the outdoor space is wonderful for parties or hanging out with friends. LBC also has some of the best mozzarella sticks on the planet, and all the other food I've had there was pretty stellar as well. They have a very extensive craft beer list and a handful of hand crafted cocktails that are pretty yummy as well. read more

Great place for a drink and a band! Horrible place for food! Went to take the wife here for the first and we ordered the molten cheese sticks, Caesar salad for the wifey and the morning after burger with a side of fries and onion rings. The cheese stick are absolutely huge and tasted great on their own till I deemed them in the marinara sauce which had a distinct flavor of being burnt. As such I only ate 2 of these cheese logs. The salad came out on a large flat plate instead of a bowl so it looked a little odd but the wife ate it with no complaints. My burger was okay but the fire were not hot not warm so it had sat at the pass for a while. By the time our waitress got back out to us with the onion rings which didn't come out with everything else. I told her I would like the fries taken off. She said that wouldn't be problem. So I go to try the onion rings and the grease is just dripping from them and the onion has no taste at all to it. We will go back for drinks and music but we will surely stop somewhere else for dinner before that since the pub food here is not good at all. We have gone here several times. It was good up until our most recent visit. 1. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not busy at all. Girl standing at the front says, "Sit wherever you want to sit. I think they just fired the host who is supposed to be here, so I'm just kind of telling people to sit wherever (as she laughs). 2. We pick a table and sit....2 minutes later the same girl comes over and says, "But you can't sit here. We have a VIP who comes and sits at this table every day". The lady sitting at the table next to me looks at me, and we both start laughing. I got up and moved. 3. Waiter seemed ok. A little disorganized, but he also confirmed that they had just fired the host, and he was just trying to figure out who had ordered and who hadn't ordered yet. We placed our order. The "Stay Classy San Diego Hamburger" and my wife got a flatbread. We had beer. The overall setting of the restaurant is nice. 4. So, out comes the flatbread, but not my hamburger. The waiter says, "I don't know where it is at, I'll go look for it". He comes back about 5 minutes later with the hamburger...lukewarm. God knows where he found it. But I was hungry. I ate it. It was, meh. In the past, the hamburger was awesome. Not this time. Flatbread was good. 5. Later that evening, I saw the credit card charge and $4 additional tip had been added to the $5 tip I left. I still had the receipt in my pocket, and no way did I tip $9. Not even by mistake. 6. I called a couple of times the next day and managed to talk to the owner. She told me, "Look, what do you want? Your 4 dollars back? I don't have time to look for the receipt. I just have to trust you". Like I am calling to get a 4 dollar discount on dinner? WTF? Anyway..I asked her why it didn't concern her that a waiter that works for her is committing fraud on her customers? She says to me, "I don't control the waiters. Love this place! Great atmosphere and tasty food. My first time here was on a Thursday night for their game night, so much fun! Samantha was our waitress and was very attentive and sweet. Fast forward a month a later, a friend and I got our nails done next door and decided to come over after for dinner and drinks. Local Brewing Company is a pretty cool local haunt and we find ourselves here on a semi-regular basis. The menu offers a wide variety of choices with some really creative items that you won't find other places. The selection of beer is amazing. Always enjoy. During our last visit, we enjoyed the Bistro Chips, myThai Lettuce Wraps and the Fig + Pig Phatbreads. While my wife likes the Bistro Chips more than me, but I do really enjoy the lettuce wraps. We've also had the Meatloaf Cupcakes on past visits and they're pretty good. If we had to offer any creative criticism, the service can be inconsistent but has never been awful. It can also get pretty loud when the place fills up. Maybe it's the high ceilings or all the glass, but sometimes it's difficult to speak to the person across the table from you. We usually avoid this issue by going during less busy hours. read more

pretty terrible. lets start with the "pizza topping jalepenos" in my margarita, also made with sweet & sour (which I expect from a dive bar, not a margarita on a cocktail menu). literally disgusting that a bartender would put canned jalepeno in a drink! the kids side fruit was appalling too..did someone chew it before putting it in the bowl? also had to ask for the pickles on all 3 burgers that were supposed to come with them, not one to complain but seriously food was just low quality crappy food (applebees is better). i could taste the old oil on the fries, just disgusting. the kids mealed was ordered first & cam out last after apps and everyones entrees. i dont even want to think about the quality meat the burgers were. and to not even be able to have a good margarita is embarrassing. cute vibe/venue and our waitress was sweet so I felt bad. idk if its a management issue or kitchen issue or bar issue, seems to be all 3. definitely wont be coming back here. snappers & diesel are 10x better and down the block. read more

We were really excited to eat here! Though it would be like a cute brewing type place, but it was more like a bar. However, upon arrival we asked if we could sit outside and the host said, "yeah sit wherever outside and a server will get to you." After sitting out there for awhile we asked a server who was waiting a table outside near where we were sitting if there was a server planning on seeing us. She looked a little annoyed and said, "well...I can go let a host know you're out here..." After that we said that the host had told us to sit ourselves wherever outside and she was like "well ok" and acted as if she knew nobody would be able to get to us. After waiting there for twenty minutes while the waiter served the table next to us all the while glancing over at us, we left. Not a single menu was brought to the table, nobody saw us, and we were getting the feeling that the server was annoyed we were there. And to top it off, as we were walking out the server walked past us and let out an annoyed huff. Needless to say we were disappointed. I gave them a three start because this was our first and only interaction at this restaurant, so others may have not had the experience we had.
