LBC has become one of those places I really want to love because they do so many things right--but the service keeps holding them back. First, if you've never tried the meatloaf cupcakes, do it. Seriously. Don't knock them until you try them. They're one of the best things on the menu. The food in general is solid, and LBC always has fun events and live entertainment, which is what keeps bringing me back. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing over multiple visits. On my most recent visit, we sat at the bar for 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though two bartenders walked by several times. Once we were finally helped, I ordered a beer that was listed as a bottle/can option but was automatically served a draft without being asked. I don't drink draft beer, so that was frustrating. The bartender's attitude improved as the visit went on, and I appreciated that, but this wasn't an isolated experience. After several visits, the service has consistently been the weakest part of LBC. I'll still come back for the events, the atmosphere, and those meatloaf cupcakes. I just hope one day the service catches up to everything else because this place has so much potential.

I sat at the bar that was not packed and it took at least 10 minutes for anybody to come over and I think that's being generous. And the one just kept walking back-and-forth, without a word. I had the habanero wings. I had a three daughters raspberry lemonade cider, and some of their onion rings. The wings were a little dry. The onion rings were good, but overall with that service it's not worth it.

Came to a cars and coffee event and LBC had a brunch menu. They had biscuits and gravy as the special and we ordered the breakfast bowl. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! Not the white out of a can gravy but homemade! The breakfast bowl was nice and the grits were creamy

Lots of bottom of the bag chips

LBC had great food. I got the burger that had blue cheese and substitute chx at no extra charge. Chips and coleslaw are standard sides. Substitute fries or something else is $2 upgrade. So I sucked it up and got fries which was a huge helping; however half of them looked like they were broken pieces from the bottom of the bag. But my burger was big, juicy and delicious. The waitress was super helpful. Which came in handy because the drinks we kept trying to order from the menu where not available when she went to get it. She got some steps in with our table. Drinks were cold and good. And prices were amazing. Best I've seen in a long time without happy hour. The place is fun for the whole family. Despite being in a strip mall, it has outdoor seating and games for kids and adults. Also live bands. Fun place for a night out.

Tayler was great and very attentive. Food is always wonderful! KUDOS also to LBC for hosting such a wonderful and fun event to support Lavitas Warriors every Wednesday for the month of June starting at 7pm #greatfood #breastcancerawareness #lavitaswarriors

The cider I decided on because all the other selections were not available.

The menu at this restaurant is fantastic. It's very diverse, has a lot of variety. And the burgers are definitely The Star here. I ended up having a toasted turkey apple crossaint sandwich which was yummy. The seating outside is perfect for friends and those who want to bring their family members. Because it has a great place for the kids to play. The prices were decent and you definitely get a lot of food. I was very surprised to really like the chips that came with my meal. I actually ate the entire side of chips before I finished my sandwich! The beer and cider menu is very extensive and it was one of the draws that brought me to this location. However, they really need to update their menu because several of the items that I and my dinner mate wanted were not available and the waitress only knew this after she had to go back a nd forth to let us know what we wanted wasn't there! That's not cool, but the waitress was great. I do plan ongoing back and I will bring my family I just don't want to get too attached to the beer drink menu.

With the closure of our unmatched beer Mecca for the area - Palm Harbor House of Beers - a sad sad turn of events... Local Brewing Company, across & up I-19, is now the reigning champ for beer selection in the area with over 50 taps of draft beers. Amazing range of beers to satisfy any beer drinker or aficionado - so many local breweries across TampaBay are represented that you can travel the region with a beer glass! Only thing is the beer selection was very well chosen/curated /varied up front that they do minimal rotation across the selection which HoB used to do so expertly and challenged us with esoteric or unusual beers to try every time we came in. But be that as it may, the draft beer selection is stellar at LBC. LBC also has great sports bar, lots of screens across ample size space and great pub food! Think burgers, flatbreads, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads and great daily specials. I had the fish & chips which was perfectly cooked with crunchy batter and hot steaming fish inside -and look at the portions! All in all a great space with lots of music and community events with good bartenders to build a very welcoming environment

    What's With the Cocktail Napkins?

I'm titling this review "What's With the Cocktail Napkins?" Read on: I have to echo some other reviews stating the place was understaffed. We experienced the same thing. Apparently, they hadn't considered that a rare warm January night would bring out diners interested in outside seating. Still, other than some long delays, that didn't negatively impact our experience. In the end, our server, Tina, hustled her rear end off, earning her a 100% tip. She deserved it not just for us, but for the other tables she was juggling. I hope those other tables followed suit. As for the food, there was a lot of it. Wife got a turkey club sandwich, which fed her for two nights. I got the 1992 Lightning Burger. TIP: Order this cut in half. The flavor bomb is in the middle of the burger, so if you order it whole, it may take a few bites to hit the flavor you're expecting. I'll do this next time. Wings were typical, fries were excellent. Plenty of leftovers. The question we and many other tables had: Why are the cocktail napkins stamped with the Mariott logo? Nobody had an answer for that. Place isn't owned by Marriott and there's not a Marriott hotel or sister branded hotel within miles. Fun little diversion, I guess. Quick footnote: For a place called Local Brewing Company, they didn't have many local beers available. They were out of just about everything on tap. That might be a supply-side thing, being just after the holidays. If you get Tina as a server, be sure to ask about her podcast.

I use to come here YEARS ago when I lived near Clearwater and just so happened to recently be on this side of town Monday night! Looks like the place could use a bit of a remodel, looking old now. The food was still amazing :) the raspberry lemonade cocktail was NOT good! Service was okay.. they had bingo going on which was fun. Very spacious, huge inside & outside patio! Probably great for sporting events

Went to see the band. It was fine. I didn't eat or drink anything. The crowd knew most of the songs and sang along.

Predatory worker compensation structure - Be aware…read more We recently dined here and noticed the tabletop signs explaining a mandatory 20% "commission" added to every single bill. When speaking with our server, she informed us that management classifies the waitstaff as 1099 independent contractors, meaning they receive a $0 hourly base rate from the restaurant and rely entirely on this mandatory guest fee for their paycheck.I have a physical copy of the check showing this automatic fee. While the sign claims this "supports our team," classifying standard restaurant servers as 1099 workers instead of W-2 employees is a massive red flag that contradicts federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. Independent contractors set their own hours and operations; servers do not. Furthermore, a restaurant cannot legally leave a server's direct hourly base wage at zero by relying entirely on automatic service fees.We love supporting local staff, but we want our money going to businesses that respect basic labor laws and compensate their employees legally. Hopefully, public pressure will force management to fix their payroll structure. The server said the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to make changes. Sadly they chose to break the law. On that note the service was lovely, the food very tasty. I asked to sub corn for flour tortias and she was able. We don't directly live in the area, and its been a while since we've been here. Its always good, with good portions and not a chain. Its so unfortunate.

This place is absolutely adorable…read more I think this street is the perfect place to hit up a couple restaurants for a progressive dinner. A lot of the restaurants are closed for lunch though, which is how we ended up here. It's a lot larger than it looks. There's a really cute covered outdoors area in the back with a stage for performances. There were only a few diners there for lunch on a Friday so it was easy to grab a spot. I got a skinny strawberry margarita, it made me happy to see a skinny version of a flavored margarita on the menu. It has a sugar rim and was delicious. It's on the sweet side and I'd definitely get it again. I requested it without soda water. For my main I got the salmon bowl. I wouldn't get this again, but it's because the base is mainly fried wontons. I thought it would be a scattering of fried wontons but nope, it was a hefty portion. I didn't eat most of the fried wontons because I'm trying to be healthy. It's a delicious dish, just not for me. Service was great, but we were an easy table because we were chatting the entire time. I enjoyed our meal here, so we will definitely be back!

There was zero flavor other than the tiny amount I would get with each bite from the bourbon sauce. But, that was quickly overshadowed by the pain in my jaw from chewing the dry salmon, and the absolutely abysmal excuse for rice pilaf. My water had more flavor. The plates were piping hot, but the food was not. That was the case for everything we had there. The service was below subpar. The waiter we had did not check on us at all. We had to wait way too long for our food. Things we ordered weren't even offered there anymore, but they're still on the menu... it was a total disaster. Overall, I would not recommend. I've had better food microwaved from the frozen food aisle of the grocery store. I've had better food from a hospital cafeteria. Finally, the environmental impact is troubling. We saw a baby alligator sitting in shallow water next to trash from the restaurant. There was trash all throughout the dock area. I witnessed wait staff emptying drinks over the railing into the greenery next to the lake. Just awful behavior. Someone needs to come in there and tighten it up because honestly disappointed isn't even close to how I felt from a simple meal. Again, stay away.
