For the most part, I dealt with the owner and his son. The appointment set up didn't go as well as I had liked as I was given a date but no timeframe for me to work around. So, I received a call on the day of and was provided the time. It wasn't a huge deal considering that I worked from home but I did have to move a meeting as this was important to move forward with the installation. This review is written to be sure others don't make the same mistakes. Shawn and Ron are professional and responsive, but once the job is complete the service and commitment dwindles. We installed a driveway gate with a push button lock. The install team did not leave us with the lock warranty or packaging. The lock was problematic 6-month after the installation. I was told to use WD40 or file down the latch strike. It's been 2-years and my issue was never resolved. They did not visit to see our issue. They did send me a link to an Amazon lock replacement. But after having handymen and the like to do "grown up" work for me and have that go badly, I called the pros when I needed my Big Iron Gate repaired. Once and done with a good warranty on their work. And they are nice guys too, not laughing too hard at me when I told them that my iron gate was bent because I accidently drove into it. I debated whether to give 4 or 5 stars because I felt that the cost was a bit high for a job they were able to complete in less than a half hour. I mentioned that to the owner when I got the quote and he explained that they don't usually do these small jobs and they have to charge a minimum otherwise it's not worth their while. I guess that means they're "that good" and they should get the 5 stars. Or their pricing is a bit high so not the "best value" and should lose a star for that. I will only use Ron and Shawn for gate repairs now. I spoke to Ron and Shawn over the phone and was thinking I needed to do a full gate arm replacement. They asked me to provide photos and a video of the issue and based on that, they recommended that I check the batteries in my gate first since they said the model I have does odd things when the batteries start going bad. I found replacement batteries, installed them and everything is back to normal. They could have easily just told me to replace the whole gate arm, but they just wanted to help.
