We were in the area and we're really hungry. This place is open late at night. While the service was excellent the food needed work. The salmon was not as amazing as advertised. Very average flavor for an expensive piece of salmon. The wings we got were good. The nachos were OK and the salad was decent but nothing was overly amazing. One of my friends got the burger and really enjoyed that. Other than that it's a pretty average bar/restaurant. We were seated quickly and there is plenty of parking. Prices aren't too bad. It's not bad but it's not amazing. If you get to that area early I'm sure there are other choices in restaurants. Clean place though and good service but food is average. read more

We did a reservation on Yelp! Definitely go that route. Got into the huge parking lot and it was packed full. Was going to the roller coaster next door after, and asked the nice young ladies if we could park in their lot. Sure am GLAD we did!!! Got inside, checked in, and they had us checked in and seated within 3 minutes!!! We started off with with the Piquillo Peppers stuffed with goat cheese and a balsamic glaze, and some Nawlin's BBQ Shrimp - awesomeness! I got the Shrimp and Grits, wife got Fettuccine Rocco. Both were delicious! 99% of the food they make is from scratch and locally sourced. Waitress Jennifer was really nice and had a true opinion on some items and we took her advice. So we stopped in around dinner time with a wait of about 30-35 minutes, we were seated in about 20 minutes. The decor is pretty average nothing that really stuck out. Just a standard bar feel. The service was good, made sure we had what we needed and made good recommendations. The food is the star of the show, it is the best casual dining food I have ever had. They make everything from scratch and it shows. We tried the deviled eggs as you do not see those on a standard menu and we were pleasantly surprised. They executed them rather well. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the pasta was delicious. We also enjoyed the mojitos and margaritas! You need to check this place out if you are in the area. Best burger we have ever had, the fries were delicious & crispy, mashed potatoes were soooo good (don't be scared of the "carmelized onion" name, they're delicious) the steaks were perfect, and the crème brûlée was also the absolute BEST we've ever had!! We had a party of 14. Were seated promptly. Clean place. Service was great. Food was great. Server kept our dirty dishes removed but refills were slow and one one member didn't get fries with his burger until almost the end of meal. Other than that, everything was great. We had 3 burgers in the group that were all amazing. The farmhouse burger with egg was great. The Billy burger was awesome. With all the talk I felt I had to try it out myself. I had one of the burgers I will say it was fresh cooked to perfection about as good as you can get and the bun was made in house and had a garlic poppyseed flavor that made it even better. The only gripe was the cheese was cold and not melted but not a biggie My wife got the steak nachos which were a little strange. The steak pretty well cooked and presentation wise it was good. The guacamole was good and cheese was little lacking but the balsamic glaze gave it a twang that was not for us. Not a good selection in our opinion. The prices are ok and the service was good a must try for everyone. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great Another visit got the Elvis burger-pretty good comes with fried bananas peanut butter bacon with the lettuce and onions on a fresh made bun. I think it was good I eat the Elvis version at other restaurants and this one lack a little flavor. The peanut butter was not nutty enough and I think bananas could have been fried a little more and the onion lettuce didn't really make sense but still a good burger you won't be disappointed. The pimento burger was good the bacon jam was really good. It was very messy it kind of fell apart and the bun sogged out a little. Still that jam and cheese are good. Chicken tenders are hand breaded and pretty good the mashed potatoes were good onion flavored. Yum and local AF! My wife and were in Pigeon Forge for our honeymoon and we stopped into the Local Goat after finding it on Yelp. The Yelpers nailed it on the head..this place was great! The restaurant is very sleek and modern inside and there's plenty of free parking in their lot. The hostess and our server, Rachel W were so friendly and provided A+ service! Props to both of them! We had the Deep Friend Deviled Eggs for appetizer which were very good! We each had a burger for our entrees and they were huge and came with a mound of fresh cut fries! The beef patties were huge and tasted fresh and juicy. Everything was cooked perfectly and I finished everything but a few fries since I was so full. I'm never one to not clean my plate, so you know this was a lot of food if I couldn't finish it all! Rachel was very nice and attentive and always made sure our waters were full.
