I have never been to a Quaker Steak and Lube in my life, didnt even know what it was! In fact, from the outside, it really looked more like a car service station (so such great decor and theming!). Now, YES. I am obsessed. It's close to Dollywood, and all that theme parky things, but you'll have to drive there. Totally worth it, in my opinion. Waitress was kinda in a hurry since it was a hour and half away from closing. 3 of us, and we was ready to leave and the person paying got a phone call right when waitress dropped the check on the table. Imagine how surprised I was to find a Quaker Steak & Lube down here in Tennessee. As someone who has hit up Ohio Quaker Steaks on multiple occasions, we were super excited to see a familiar restaurant here. I wouldn't say this is the best Quaker Steak location we've gone to (mostly due to the ranch and french fries issues), but we still had a familiarly great time. There are $5 off coupons in area coupon booklets for 2023. PROS: -The chicken wings are a familiar love. Everyone at the table agreed that Quaker Steak's wings are still some of the best they've ever eaten. We're happy to report that it continues to hold true at this location. -All of the proteins (burgers, wings) came out piping hot and deliciously great. -Racing themed decor that you'll be familiar with if you've been to a Quaker Steak. They have motorcycles hanging form the ceiling, and everything has a pun off racing and cars. (Like their "Lube" beers and rice, etc.) -Service here has been great on multiple days. Despite running on slim staffing, we received refills and friendly service on multiple days - including the day where the bartender was waiting all of the tables and the bar itself. -Drinks are heavily poured, and the beers come out (literally) ice cold. I was surprised to accidentally swallow a slender ice that had formed in the foam of the beer. Perfectly chilled in chilled glasses. -They have their own parking lot - and it's gigantic. There's tons of space to park. We were surprised to see that this place seems to be overlooked by tourists in favor in some of the other restaurants in town. It was surprisingly chill at peak Friday dinner hours. CONS: -French fries were served lukewarm (if I'm being generous) to everyone at the table on multiple days. The main proteins (burgers, wings) were piping hot, though. The kitchen may need to revisit the cook order to ensure the french fries come out hot. -As far as I can tell, this location doesn't seem to make their own ranch - or uses a different recipe than all of the Ohio locations. It was a surprising disappointment - I usually come to Quaker Steak & Lube and get tons of french fries and ranch, and I'm a super happy camper. Neither of those aspects were good here. -No booth seating here. They have a ton of sturdy metal, armless chairs for seating instead. read more

I came on a vacation to Smoky Mountains and ran up on this location for a quick meal. I'm so glad I stopped, it's so cute. Parking was great and plentiful. Upon walking in building the decor is great. It's on the style of NASCAR and speedway. Transportation pieces are everywhere hanging like pictures. Great conversation pieces. They also have an gaming arcade for entertainment purposes . Staff and waitresses were very friendly, approachable and inviting. Got seated quickly. Drinks were great. As for the food, hubby said his burger was very good. He's fussy about his burgers so that means a lot coming from him. I ordered the special steak sandwich and found it to be ok. The meat varied from almost burnt to somewhat chewy, and there was a lot of bread for the small amount of meat. To be honest, I scraped the meat off the bread and covered my potato chips (which with the beer cheese sauce were a great option) and made something like nachos.
