The restaurant itself looks great and was very clean, but unfortunately, the food and service were lacking. Service started out okay--we ordered drinks and an appetizer, but the appetizer never came. Our server eventually told us he forgot to put it in, so we never received it. When our food arrived, my burger looked like it had been thrown together, with more toppings scattered around the plate than actually on the burger. The burger was mediocre at best; honestly, I could get a better-tasting burger at Burger King. The Chicken Parmesan was also disappointing. The chicken was very dry, the noodles were overcooked, and the chicken appeared to be cut-up chicken fingers rather than a proper chicken breast. Overall, I was really disappointed with the experience. The restaurant may look nice and clean, but unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to it. Well, we needed to grab a bite to eat but nothing huge. We were drawn in by the salad choices but decided to split a burger instead. Positive: that was the fastest I've ever been served! Negative: our server was anything less than attentive. We imagined it was because we told him we were going to share and he probably assumed the tip would not be worth his trouble. We were walking the strip and thought we'd check this place out. The waiter was extremely friendly and the food came out very fast. There were let downs though. I got the wings and my wife got the French dip. Her meal didn't come with the au jus dip. We had to wait to get that to start eating. Then, with getting wings, as you know saucy wings can lead to very sticky and wet fingers and you need plenty of napkins. I only had 1 and that was it. It was the napkin that the silverware was wrapped in. Then, it took forever to get a refill to where I had nothing to drink for the longest time. Finally, he comes around and grabs mine, but not my wife's empty cup. I then had to get up and take it to them myself asking for a refill. Great food, great seating to watch all the tourists on the sidewalks walking into each other as you dine and laugh from above. Waitress was new and she gave us amazing service. Mixed drinks were made well and the beer is cold. Deep fried empanadas for an appetizer was an excellent choice. BBQ ribs, Cajun shrimp, BBQ chicken, Catfish extremely delicious and portioned well. Ate dinner here on a Friday night and the service was great and fast. I was in and out in less than an hour. I ordered the fajita dog and it was massive! I wish there were more bell peppers though. I also don't think the bun was toasted, and there was just so much going on that I couldn't even pick up the hot dog. The bun broke every place I tried to pick it up, so I ended up just eating it with a knife and fork. I loved the ambiance though. Where do I even begin? This wasn't dinner--it was a survival challenge. First, the food tasted like someone whispered "seasoning" from another room. Zero flavor. Negative flavor, if that's somehow possible. About 30 minutes after ordering, we were casually informed that what we ordered wasn't even available. Good to know after we'd been sitting there long enough to grow our own ingredients. The waitress apparently believed "food roulette" was part of the dining experience. She handed everyone's meals to the wrong people, then somehow still didn't bring the correct food out. We tried asking for things multiple times, but she disappeared like she was in witness protection. To top it off, our appetizer plates became permanent table decorations for most of the meal. Now for the grand finale... Every single person in our party ended up sick after eating. One poor soul even managed to poop their pants during the TWO-MILE walk back to the car. If that doesn't tell you how the evening went, I don't know what will. The only thing this restaurant served consistently was disappointment and gastrointestinal distress. Visited on 27 July after a nice day in Smokey National Park. Extremely underwhelmed. Party of 9 during a not busy time (less than 50% capacity). Half the meals were cold when delivered - I had the hot chicken sandwich and the cheese was still cold 100% unmelted. Did not bring wives order out so informed waiter we needed her plate. This was the worst meal we had during our week in the Gatlinburg area. It worked out because it was convenient in the downtown location and we needed to eat. It is also very reasonably priced. But just skip it! There are too many other good choices. The taco salad was actually pretty good but it was very very small. The fried chicken salad was just ok. Someone ordered a barbecued grilled chicken but it was so bad she sent it back. So tough it was even hard to cut. The fried catfish was extremely crazy but the flavor was OK. The service was fine. When I asked what a favorite item was on the menu he said he hated that question and then had a difficult time answering it. Our server was really nice and the resturant has so much dining space, really nice vibe. They have views of the strip as well. We ordered a couple rounds of Moonshine shots and drinks. If I could give this place 0 stars I would... the food was disgusting... potato salad potatoes weren't even cooked, chicken slimey, and we asked to sub out a side and were told no problem then were charged above and beyond the side if it was added. We had empty cups the whole meal, and needed BBQ sauce and had to choke down the dry chicken without it because no one attended to us. My husband and I ate dinner here on a Thursday night, so there was no wait to be seated. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. We were seated next to the window overlooking the street below, so that was nice. I ordered the nachos, minus onions, and the portion size was HUGE. It was really good! Instead of the usual tortilla chips, they use homemade potato chips which were crunchy and good. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and double mashed potatoes. He's a very picky eater, so it didn't surprise me when he didn't like it. He's said the steak was beer battered, which he doesn't like. However, we also ordered some drinks and he loved his Hillbilly Hurricane and I enjoyed the White Trash. Service was good and helpful! This place reminded me of TP Crockmiers with the menu offering. It was relatively quiet considering how crowded Gatlinburg was/is. Daughter got this giant hotdog which looked really good. I got one of the burger offerings as did my wife. Both were very good and cooked the way we asked for. We started with the Deluxe Nachos, they were 7/10 they were good but the toppings weren't spread evenly and the chicken tasted fake. We also split salads before our entrees. The salads were 10/10. Steps are taken to the dining area and restrooms, however I did hear mention of an elevator around the corner. The seating area was very clean and relaxing, with nice decor. We had the nachos and the Galinburger to eat and the Hillbilly Hurricane and a build-your-own Mule to wash it down.
