Bison/elk burger, fries and baked beans
    Renee S.

The bison/elk burger was very good. I had them add mushrooms and Swiss and that took it to the next level. The French fries had a very good seasoning on them, had skin on them and a nice outside texture and fluffy interior. The beans had great flavor but did not stay warm very long. The space is inviting and we ate on the balcony to people watch those on the street. They seemed to be down servers but dinner did not take long to get to the table. If you're looking for a different kind of burger, I recommend checking them out.

The host was very friendly and seated us right away. My husband and I ordered unsweetened tea and our granddaughter ordered half sweet/half unsweetened. Apparently they don't know how to make unsweetened tea because it looked like colored water and tasted like water. Our granddaughter's was fine so the sweetened must have been made correctly...with actual tea!! I asked the server if I could get a diet instead and she brought it. My husband and I split the Classic burger with fries. They split the burger in the kitchen for us. It was delicious and the fries were awesome!! Our granddaughter had the mozzarella sticks with marinara. She said they were delicious! The place is a nice little rustic place. It has a patio area also but it was hot outside so we opted for inside.

The food was actually pretty good. The chicken sandwich had hints of sweetness which was really good. Their fries are crispy and they give you a great amount. The burger was decent. The vibe was very relaxed and not over the tope like the rest of downtown, which was refreshing. Our server, Dylan, was absolutely amazing and I want to give him a big shout out. He went above and beyond with everything, and was so efficient yet kind in his manner of treating us. Dylan made our time there even more enjoyable.

We were hungry and cold and this was the nearest place we found. We were all pretty irritated at this point so just picked the closest place and walked in. Upon entering there's a sign saying to place your name on the board for seating. You have servers running back and forth between both sides of the dining room. We placed our name on the list and were seated soon after. Seating was a bit cramped between two other tables in a corner which made it hard to get in and out. Service was good! Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Food: Average and sort of expensive for what you get! Girls got the baked potato with side of soup and hubs and I got the 1/2 sandwich with cup of soup. I chose the broccoli cheese soup with ham and cheese sandwich, hubs got the chicken chili soup with ham and cheese sandwich. Both soups were good but you get very little. I was actually still a bit hungry after eating what I had. Chicken chili soup is a bit spicy fyi.

This was the best place we ate at on our trip to Tennessee. The burgers were amazing. You get the choice of beef or bison. My picky kids even loved the food. The service was wonderful. The decorations inside felt like actual ski lodges. There is a beautiful bar in the back as well. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was pleasant, food was tasty, we had a front row seat to watch the Olympics! Brittany was our server, she was kind and patient! Follow @disheswdanielle on insta

Went into four different restaurants today. Most of them were over priced packed tourist spots. We found this place and were greatly pleased. Our waiter Ron suggested the Ruben and his believe he was dead on. Amazing quality and a perfect mix of spice from the kraut and roast beef.

Great restruant! I sat at the bar and got a cider and chicken sandwhich, both were delicious. Several servers and bartenders swung by during that time and each were polite and friendly. The restruant is much bigger than I initially thought and I will def try to swing by again when I can. I enjoy trying all the locally owned restruants that are still standing in gatlinburg and I wish this business many more successful years!

This wasn't our first choice as the other restaurant nearby was closed, so we chanced it here. We arrived and were immediately seated. It looked like their hours on the website wasn't accurate as we got there after 4:30 and were still seated. The restaurant was also pretty slow perhaps due to the inaccurate hours on Yelp and google. They have a small selection of beer and a big selection of sandwiches and some burgers. The pizzas looked good, but I opted for their club. It was okay, as I wish the bread was a little softer but nothing to complain about. Overall, the girl was a good waitress and the food was okay. The atmosphere was fun to look at as it was a outdoor sports theme.

Wasn't sure about this place based on these reviews but I thought it was great. Speedy service, kind and attentive servers. Cute place, eclectic music of outdoorsy decor. I thought the food was delicious. I had the tram burger and my friend had the chicken tenders (which I tasted). I thought both of these entrees were pretty great. If you are on the fence, give it a try.

Looks better than it tastes, the fries were really good.

No frills but a tad expensive. Pretty much good southern food. We had white chicken chili (outstanding) and bison burgers, not worth the $21. Nothing fancy whatsoever, kind of like a broken down Cracker Barrel that is 20 years past its prime.

I wanted to try this place out since I've never been. Well, I wasn't impressed. Service wasn't that good, friendly but not good. Took a while to get waited on and order also took a while to get on the table. Had to ask for refills which you shouldn't ever have to at a restaurant. Food was average at best, maybe a little less. Prices are way too high for diner type food and you can go any where to get burgers. I got the tram burger which was a cheese burger with bacon, picked and onion. The bacon had a lot of fat in it. The positive thing is you can sit outside to look out and see some of Gatlinburg. Inside of the restaurant is neat with the ski type feel.

Food was pretty good. Onion rings were very good. Prices were expensive, but not outrageous for the area.

The menu variety is impressive, ranging from top-tier steaks and prime rib to fresh seafood, burgers, and delicious Southern sides. We loved the Asian steak salad and seared ahi tuna. Both steak and tuna were cooked perfectly. The kung-pao dressing was fantastic. The atmosphere and attentive service make it even better. Strongly recommend!

The bartender was lovely and attentive throughout our visit (though, obviously, he was quite busy! He kept up on everything like a champ). We began with cocktails. For me, I got a Manhattan, which was perfectly made. For my main dish, I got wild salmon with sauteed mushrooms as my side. I also got a caesar side salad and my meal came with warm, and absolutely delicious fresh baked bread. Everything was flavorful and perfect. The salad was well dressed and had tomato--I'm flexible when it comes to caesar but I know some of you all are purists so just a note. The salmon had a wonderfully smoky flavor from the grill, and the mushrooms were perfectly sauteed and delicious. Since we went straight into the bar, I didn't see much of the restaurant itself but the bar area was modern and comfortable. Get to it!

The first thing that you notice is all of the national park decor with fishing rods and deer antlers, etc. Very rustic. They have multiple projectors hanging from the ceiling that show scenes from the mountains and a cute little bear that moves from picture to picture. Very nice. Our server was very attentive and took good care of us. He seemed quite knowledgeable about the menu when I asked multiple questions. Very nice guy. We started out with fried green tomatoes and then hit the very interesting salad bar. That alone was worth the trip. My wife had the soup and salad combo with crab bisque being the soup. She said the soup was quite good. I ordered the New York Strip steak and added a skewer of shrimp. Here is where things go slightly sideways. The food runner brought my steak and it was a ribeye instead of a strip. I sent it back since it was not what I ordered. He came back with the same steak and said that the cook said it was a strip steak. I had already sent it back once, so I stopped arguing and ate it anyway. It was a good ribeye, but it was not what I ordered. I have eaten enough steaks in 60 years to know the difference. I have deducted a star over this issue. I did enjoy the experience despite the hiccup and would be willing to go back. Just pay attention, folks.
