First time visit here! The staff were welcoming and pleasant. They explained the ordering process clearly and that was helpful. The place was bright and clean. Simple menu with good options. I was looking for a quick snack bite and this spot fits the bill. I opted for the Tam Tam Rice eggs rolls. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing as it was lacking in flavor. I was pleasantly surprised though to see Boba Guys. The strawberry matcha was bobalicious! It definitely made the visit better. I may be back next time to try the other food options and update my review / rating. For now... service 5, vibes 3, food 2

After enjoying a concert at Thunder Valley Casino me and my friends were ready for a bit to eat. We found local kitchens and decided to give it a try. I was really impressed with the types of food that they offered even being so late in the evening. From Burgers to Boba they had a good mix of everything. I could tell that the kitchen was well managed because it was very clean and orderly. This restaurant is more of a self-serve environment meaning you order your food on the Monitor and they deliver it once it's cooked. I ordered two tacos. Both of them were made with homemade tortillas which I thoroughly enjoy. My choice of meats were asada and chicken. I appreciate it that they were very generous in the protein along with putting a healthy amount of guacamole and Seasonings on both tacos. Overall I definitely would love to come back and try other items on their menu.

Download the App!! I absolutely love this concept! We've been loyal patrons for a few years now. Ordering through app is efficient. Delivery never fails. I love seeing the out with the old in with the new eats. Tonight we had a burger and fries from sweet onion. Delish! A chicken bowl from nopalitos. Excellent! Square pie guys never disappoints. On to Boba Guys! Strawberry Matcha Boba was so earthy and fruity goodness. I had the strawberry fields with almond milk. What a treat! Keep doing what you're doing local kitchens! See you soon!

Food came out pretty fast but the place was empty. I got the salmon sushi burrito and it had a pretty nice variety of toppings. Got a nice bite of everything while eating. The salmon wasn't dry or over cooked which was very nice. Food was overall great but sad they were out of stock for the shrimp tempura burrito. Inside was nice and clean. Multiple tables and chairs to eat your foods dine in.

I've ordered from Nash & Proper before, but this was by far the worst experience. Ordered fries and chicken on Jan 7 at 10:38 PM, and both were completely unacceptable. The fries were undercooked and cold, while the chicken was not cooked at all--an obvious food safety risk. I could have easily gotten food poisoning from this. This was a huge letdown compared to past orders. Definitely not the quality I expect, and I won't be ordering again if this is the new standard.

What a meal? It was incredibly delicious. I liked the seating arrangement too. Very welcoming. Staff was well informed of the service they are providing. They are a food portal. They bring food items from 5 or 6 kitchens. Only special unique ones. The amba chicken pita was incredible. Be it the bread or the chicken in it. The spice powder on the chicken was flavorful. It made me want more. I gobbled it all down greedily. The aioli in it complemented the chicken and pickled onions and cabbage mix. The hummus at the deep end of the pita was a good finish. I thorough relished the pita. Will be going back to more of chicken pita then falafel pita b4 I try items from tim tamales rice and the rest. They have added Vietnamese iced coffee to their menu.

The managers and customer service here are excellent. The two times I have been unhappy with a particular food item, I have received a $10 Local Kitchens credit. I feel like it's a guarantee that you will enjoy your meal. If not the present meal, then a future meal! After a late night of playing pickleball, I decided to try a sushi burrito from any restaurant for the first time ever using the $10 store credit I had received from dissatisfaction with a prior Nash + Proper Fried Chicken Sammich. Unfortunately, when placing the order on the app, I didn't notice that the location was set to Granite Bay, the last location I had visited. The manager was kind, patient, and helpful to call the Granite Bay store to cancel my order and put the $10 credit back to my account. She then fulfilled my order at this Roseville location without charging me! I was surprised and delighted. I thanked her heartily, telling her it was my birthday that day, so it was an especially special treat to get a free meal. What did she do then? She gave me free vanilla sprinkle Birthday Truffles from the Milk Bar!!! Thank you so very much. I really enjoyed the SUMO CRUNCH SUSHI BURRITO. It seemed to have good Yelp reviews, and given I am not often in the mood for poke or raw sushi, cooked sounded good and safe to me. In the past, I enjoyed the LATIN NINJA bowl, and an employee also recommended that flavor as her favorite sushi burrito. All the Sushirrito sauces sound yummy to me. The Sriracha Aioli is the customer favorite, but I really love the Wasabi Aioli. I believe the Japanese 7-Spice Aioli may be the 2nd most popular sauce. I haven't tried the Peruvian Herb Sauce yet. You also can't go wrong with the CRISPY SHRIMP TEMPURA. It used to be an amazing value at 6 for $9, but with inflation or price adjustment, you now get 4 for $9. Hmm, it appears that Sushirrito bowls are gone from the menu. Hand rolls are now offered. You can order bowls from the newer restaurants, SAJJ Mediterranean and Nopalito Taqueria. No more Senor Sisig or Curry Up Now. I have also eaten here with Burger King Bobby of Facebook local foodie group fame. During that visit, we enjoyed the MELT BURGER from The Melt and the CILANTRO MINT CHUTNEY from SAJJ Mediterranean. I also thought SAJJ's Garlic Spread was pretty good. The fried chicken in the Nash & Proper Sammich was overfried, burnt, and dry, so that's why I received the $10 credit after sending a review. So disappointing. The Sammich was scrumptious at the now closed Folsom Nash & Proper restaurant, probably my overall favorite Nashville hot chicken sandwich. In addition, an employee from the Granite Bay location told me that the Sammich was his favorite Local Kitchens meal. The Protein Plate was unimpressive with its small pieces of chicken, plain salad, and subpar pita bread, which seemed dry and wasn't fluffy or warmed. To summarize, here are my food recommendations: THE MELT 1. Patty Melt (Pro Tip: Add Lettuce and Tomato for no extra charge) 2. MeltBurger 3. Garlic Parmesan Fries 4. Tomato Soup (I have ordered this item the most!) SUSHIRRITO 1. Sumo Crunch sushi burrito (Try the Sriracha Aioli or Wasabi Aioli) 2. Latin Ninja sushi burrito 3. Crispy Shrimp Tempura (It comes with Sriracha Aioli) Many thanks again to Local Kitchens for providing stellar customer service. I keep daydreaming about the Sushi Burrito, so I will be back for that, along with my favorite Tomato Soup. P.S. As soon as I posted this review update, management already responded to me about the Protein Plate!!! So very nice.

Wanted to try a little bit of everything from pizza, tender fries, and boba! Loved the variety and it was very fulfilling. The pizza was the absolute best in my opinion! And I've always loved boba guys however I did wish my fav drink was on the menu do keep in mind each menu is slightly limited from the original! Nonetheless each menu still had the best items and was great overall! Food was also pretty quick. The location is a bit small so space can be limited when busy!

    Sushiritto
    Trini L.

Came here on a Saturday and it wasn't super packed. When you first enter, there's an option to order on three iPads. After taking a look at the different food choices, we were so surprised! They had sushiritto, nash and proper (mostly why we came), curry up now, and so many more! We ended up ordering from those three places and immediately sat down. You could see your order being made on the screen with an approximate time of how long your order will take to make. I really like the concept but would say we weren't impressed with all the food we ordered. Sushiritto was something I tried at another location and I remember it being amazing! This time around, it felt like everything was frozen. We didn't like how it was super cold. The curry up now samosas we're the star! Although, I'm pretty sure it was also frozen, it tasted the best in my opinion. You could also order on the website and pick it up when it's ready! I saw a few people do that so if I come here again, I'll do that in advance since it did take about 20ish mins to have everything ready.

Nash and Proper chicken sandwich and Boba Guys Strawberry Jasmine tea with boba
    Sammie M.

This is a really cool concept for groups or if you can't decide what to eat. It is self service, so you order on a kiosk, but the interaction I had with the staff was very nice. I asked for extra fuego sauce for my chicken sandwich and the employee happily gave me a small side of it. They also display how long your order is going to take and what position you are in line. The chicken sandwich was delish and crispy and the portion was huge! I used to work at Boba Guys in San Francisco and the drink was spot on. I will definitely be coming back and am going to check out other locations since they have slightly different options.

Jasmine Green Milk Tea w/ Boba
    Julianne S.

Whenever I visit the bay, I typically get boba guys and crave it when I'm back home so when I heard the local kitchens was serving it, I had to see if it actually tasted the same. I think the milk tea tasted quite similar but maybe not quite the same. The boba itself was a good texture but had a weird sour after taste. I would probably come back here again to order milk tea but without any boba balls. The inside of the store had a decent amount of seating, was fairly clean, and they have kiosks you can order from.

I've never seen food move through me with such speed and determination. Let's just say the bowl made a return appearance faster than I expected, and it wasn't pretty. To be fair, there are currently public health warnings about certain produce, including vegetables, berries, and cilantro, so I can't say with certainty what caused it. If any of those ingredients were involved, that could be the culprit. Either way, this restaurant should take a hard look at its ingredients, suppliers, and food safety practices to make sure everything they're serving is fresh and safe. The bowl tasted fine going down, but the aftermath was unbearable. I hope this was an isolated incident, but no customer should be spending the next hour making emergency trips to the bathroom after a meal. I sincerely hope the restaurant investigates and ensures their ingredients are safe, because this experience was one I'd rather never repeat.

The Pastrami Shop was roughly 7 miles from home, so it was worth the short drive. The place is right off Sunset and Whitney Blvd in Rocklin. It's a very small place so ordering to go is popular. But if you find a seat, definitely enjoy the local vibe of the regulars and talk with the owners for a bit. They really are passionate about their business, and serving their customers. I really enjoyed my half hot pastrami classic sandwich. The bread was toasted, mustard, provolone, and a side of pickles and jalapeños. Boy was it good! I really should have had the full size. It seems devoid of product, somewhat disheveled and disorganized and lacking any substantive character. The place appears very 'long in the tooth', and no food products were evident anywhere. Added to it, no customers, yet some came later. Yet, I was hungry and stayed. To be honest, glad I did. They sell essentially one thing-PASTRAMI, and that's it. Well, indeed true to the restaurant name. Again, everything is basic! I opted for a Classic Pastrami Sandwich and was given the option for bread, I chose a soft roll, and provolone for cheese, plus mustard. At $22. for a sandwich, well, I had some hesitation. The place is apparently owned and run by a charming older couple who really are out to please, very friendly and congenial. I felt like I fell into an old Russian Jewish deli on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, no frills. Basic, but good food! OK, the Pastrami and the entire sandwich were AMAZING! The quality of the meat was top notch and quite good, probably some of the best around. The sandwich was HUGE and enough for two meals. I was offered peppers on the side and it was perfect for me to add some. The sandwich was nicely warmed/toasted, the cheese melted perfectly and it wasn't a difficult messy thing to eat as are many more upscale sandwiches and burgers these days. So, in the end it was worth it. The sandwich was indeed a surprise and excellent. Plus, they checked after I bit into it to be certain I was satisfied, with a smile. I got some chips and a drink and ate it there. Plenty of napkins were provided. Located in a rather funky 1960s shopping mall it's small, not that easy to find yet parking seems OK. Albeit it somewhat pricey the food is very good and the value is there. If you want Pastrami then this is the place. They sell bulk packages of it too. Try it. You might be as surprised by it.

My first visit was pleasant, which is why I decided to come back. This time, I ordered what I believe was the tri-tip steak wrap. As I was finishing the first half of my wrap, I noticed a dead fly in my food. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I walked to the front and asked to speak with a manager. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to her, and she relayed it to the manager. While I do appreciate that they refunded my meal, what disappointed me most was the manager's response. He never came over to speak with me, apologize, or acknowledge the situation directly. From where I was standing, he appeared visibly disturbed when informed, but he simply instructed the cashier to issue a refund and never addressed me as the customer. However, finding a fly in a meal is a serious food safety issue, and I believe a manager or owner should take a moment to personally speak with the customer, show concern, and offer an apology. A little empathy would have gone a long way. The refund was appreciated, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer care left a much stronger impression than the refund itself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm hesitant to return.
