Local Kitchens is such a cool concept! My bf had to explain to me about how these restaurants operate..."cloud kitchen" is what I got from that convo haha. Essentially multiple restaurant offerings are under one roof. Restaurants included Señor Sisig, Curry Up Now, The Melt, Humphrey Slocombe, Nash & Proper. I've seen friends come here before, so I had it bookmarked, as well!l Anyway we came specifically for Señor Sisig. Upon entering, you can either place your order via the 3 tablets they have or scan a QR code on your phone (choose the correct one based on your phone being android or apple). If you place your order online, you don't have to step inside until your order is ready or you can order from your table. You also can get 50% off your order (up to a $10 discount) if you order online rather than through the tablet. Yelp also has an option for you to order through there too for a 50% off discount (not sure if the dollar amount maximum is different). One of the employees was really nice and welcoming, and he explained how the ordering system worked. Seemed like maybe some other customers might have been confused about the system and walked out, ahead of us. Restaurant was pretty empty inside but it looked like there were more diners outside and there were orders being prepared according to the board. The board also shows the estimated wait time for your food, which is super convenient. It was about a 10 minute wait for our food. Anyway we ordered a spicy Señor Sisig burrito with 1 egg and tocino. The burrito was a decent size, enough for one person. It wasn't cut in half as a heads up, if you're planning to share. The burrito itself was just warm, but I'm not sure if the cold ingredients inside cooled it down some. We had picked up our order as soon as it was ready though. The burrito wasn't really spicy, but that's fine...flavors were good. The burrito had a generous serving of guacamole, sour cream, fries, tocino, and a salsa of some sort? Kind of wished we got 2 eggs since it tasted good with the burrito. The egg was nice and slightly runny...kind of like a poached egg. The fries gave a nice crisp and chew to the burrito. If you've never had tocino before (like me), it kind of tastes like Chinese sausage and it was like Chinese bbq pork in texture. Overall, I'd order this again! If I'm in the area, I'd definitely come back to try other items! read more

What a novel concept! I love the idea of being able to order from several different menus in a single location. Local Kitchens kind of rocks a mega mall food court meets high school cafeteria vibe.... This visit (our first) my wife and I both ordered off the Filipino menu. My wife had the pork sisig with steamed rice plate and I ordered the California sisig burrito along with ube horchata to wash down our meals. The food was actually pretty tasty! Ordering was a bit confusing, at least it was on the first visit. There are several tablets set up at the entrance where patrons can peruse the menus and order their food. Alternatively, the Local Kitchens App can be downloaded on your iPhone and you can order there. The beverage menu and offerings are quite limited! Canned sodas, bottled water, lassi, or ube horchata are about it. You can't get ice water, coffee, or fountain drinks.... That said, the establishment was clean and offered a few inside tables and a few outside tables. The place seemed to be hoppin'! There are monitors that track peoples' orders and show a window of time to completion and ultimately inform the patron their order is ready. Lots of "to go" and delivery orders rolling through when we were there. I plan to return in the near future to try both a burger and Indian food. Prices are pretty moderate which explains the limited beverage and condiment selections. Needless to say, I like this spot and think you probably will, too! read more

Great place! Arrived and was greeted promptly and instructed on how to use the iPads to order. They have a screen that displays how many people are ahead of you and the time remaining until your order is complete. I ordered the Nash and Proper fries and they were delicious. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Malasa for my bf. He said it was uniquely different. It had different ingredients than what you would get. They have seating inside and a patio also. I am so happy that local food trucks have decided to come together under one roof. We have tried Senor Sisig when we were at SF years ago and looked forward to trying again, but to drive to SF for a food truck isn't ideal. Anyways, I'm just so happy that they decided to be a part of this "pop up" concept. Overall, everything was delicious. From the hamburger of The Melt to the 1/4 chicken from Nash & Proper to the tacos by Senor Sisig. We would definitely come back for more. Side note: Hubby hates the taste of pickles. I love the concept and how diverse it is. My group of friends and wanted to try it out because it seemed like it would fit everyone's preference. We got there and the self kiosks were easy to use. Every item had photos so that was a great bonus. The prices ranged from $10-$20. I ordered the shawarma bowl, a sushiritto, and garlic fries. My total was $40. Now I would say the food is ok in the most subpar way. The sushi burrito lacked flavor and at best is comparable to Costco Sushi. The shawarma bowl was tiny and not worth nearly $20. The garlic fries were the best part of the meal. All in all this is a nice place to TRY. But dang it, if you're already in Roseville, there are many other places with better food for better prices. read more

Great concept... like a food court with a variety of cuisines and food that you order in one place. We tried a little bit of everything... enjoyed the tocino with rice and a fried egg plate, and my kids were happy with what they ordered too. It's nice to track your order status on the screens and also on your phone. Really efficient and pretty good food! I didn't think the sisig tasted quite like I expect traditionally, as a Filipino who loves that dish, but I get that it's fusion! Update, In the bathroom, not good. AVOID! Eh, poor versions of the real thing, I guess it's better than nothing. Sad thing is if you can't reproduce the food, you can at least nail customer service. But no. It seemed like a burden that I was there, the music was so loud you couldn't hear the staff and they couldn't hear you. Almost seemed intentional... This place seems like it needs some better management and training, or someone who gives a care. The dirty fridges and disheveled buckets of condiments in the dinning area were also concerning. It had tempura shrimp, crab, and avocado, with red tempura flake that added a little heat. They were really filling and I was definitely stuffed before I was even done with it. We also ordered the Samosas, but I was so full I could only try a bite to taste it. It was really good and came with two dipping sauces. One kind of sweet, and the other kind of spicy. This place never disappoints! Everyone working here is amazing and I appreciate their wonderful customer service they provide. Tonight showed just that. Usually my husband picks up the orders we make but tonight was me. We ordered ahead per usual and I went to go ahead and grab our order. There was quite some people wanting to order their food as well as many online and delivery orders placed so there was quite a bit of a wait. I applause those working there because you can tell that the orders were coming in faster than a handful of people can get through. Once my order was complete, the person who gave my ordered sincerely apologized and still made sure I grabbed what I needed before heading out even with all the orders they still had to complete. Excellent customer service and an awesome service for a bunch of friends that just want a little bit of everything! So far I have enjoyed everything I have eaten there except for the items from Curry Up Now. The sexy fries (while flavorful) were barely enough and they accidentally sent us chicken tikka instead of paneer. Thankfully their customer service rep, Jessica, was amazing and gave me a credit and a refund for the fries. I tried a bit of the sauce and it was good, but nothing super special. I also tried their chicken tikka burrito previously and it was soooooo dry. I think that concept is a mistake to be honest. The type of rice (basmati) plus the tortilla and chicken just eats very dry. However, everything else makes up for it. They carry my favorite ice cream (Humphrey Slocombe) and everything from Senor Sisig has been unbelievably good so far. Sushiritto is pretty good too, but not as good as Senor Sisig. Hmm I was super excited to try this place and did a to go order last night. I ordered a patty melt and fries. I specified no mustard on the patty melt. Unfortunately it came without onions. Which disappointed me greatly. I could tell that if the onions have been there it would've been excellent. Highly recommended! They offer the best food from a variety of restaurants. I wanted to try the Filipino food and tried the Senor sisig burrito. My wife wanted Indian food, and I did not. She tried the tikka masala burrito with paneer. She liked the flavor and the convenience of the burrito. The ordering system is very customizable both online and in store. We went in at 1130 and there were 4 people ordering ahead of us. It took about 20 minutes to get the food, which was pretty good for being 5th in line and not ordering ahead online. They have a order board so you can see the approximate time it will take to prepare your order. We are looking forward to trying the chicken sandwich and burger. read more

The fries were cold (they were very busy)tossed most of them. The Samich was large and extra crispy, just the way I like it. The slaw was okay and could have used more pickles or more acid in the slaw. The first few bites of the breast meat were yummy but then I bit into a chunk of dark meat.
