While staying in town for a long holiday weekend, we happened to drive by this place and decided to check it out. It quickly became our go-to spot every single night after that. It's not just a brewery either -- they also have liquor drinks and a food menu with some really good options. There's a large indoor space and an even bigger outdoor area with plenty to keep you entertained, so I'd definitely recommend bringing the family. We mostly stayed inside, played a ton of games, enjoyed cocktails, and somehow managed to close the place down every night. That alone should say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Went to the brewery for a few beers. The place is a large area with games including darts and billiards. Outside is a beer garden with an area for table tennis and bag toss. I visited there for the first time with my wife and met up with a couple of friends as well. We parked in front even though it appeared there was plenty of parking in the back. A very nice beer garden with plenty of tables and outdoor heaters (when necessary). We decided to sit at the bar. We had 2 very attentive bar tenders and were fortunate enough to get there for happy hour. We enjoyed a nice $8 happy hour pretzel which came with a nice horseradish mustard and beer cheese for dipping. Since I had my SERG card with me, I decided to order the lobster roll (card gives me 25% off the $30 cost). It was probably one of the best lobster rolls I've had. Very nice tender chunks of lobster and a little cup of drawn butter for dipping. As far as beers go, I had their Winter Ale which was a belgian style with strong spiced and cinnamon notes. At 11% ABV, I stopped at 1 and switched over to the Drunken Dunkel which was also very smooth. Plenty of TV's with sports, plenty of tables inside and out. One of the best novel items is the very large bar with local memorabilia and photos under the protective glass top. read more

Fun! Fun! Fun! This place doesn't look that big from the outside. You walk in and immediately are put in a good mood. Live music every night, pool tables, outdoor seating, dartboards, ping pong, arcade games, lots of TVs for watching your favorite team. Wonderful for families. The food is amazingly good. I loved the fried shrimp and the fried chicken sandwich. I was expecting bar food. Not at all! They set the bar very high. You order drinks and food on your phone and the servers brings it out within a few minutes. And that was with a full house! The place was packed! It is first come first serve on seating. We went with a party of 12. We were able to get 2 booths close together. No reservations. Huge bar! Maybe the longest I've ever seen. We will definitely be going back. We visited this local brewery after reading that they were the best in Hilton Head. The atmosphere is like a giant arcade for adults and has lots of big screens. One positive thing was that we visited during happy hour and had the two beers that were discounted, a wheat beer and a rice lager. Both were decent but nothing special. We tasted two of the IPAs, which both had a strange aftertaste. The service at the bar was friendly but none of the rotating wait staff came to check on us or offer to take a food order. The area out back was nice with lots of seating, a big screen, and cornhole. I've had better beers from other local breweries, but the atmosphere was nice. read more

This brewery has something for EVERYONE! Kids, adults, etc. They have a whole area on one side with fun games like shooting basketballs, billiards, the claw machine, video games, etc. Lots of tables for relaxing and dining with family and friends and enjoying some lovely libations. On this visit we sat at the HUGE bar and enjoyed some delish beers. No food on this visit was enjoyed but it looked tasty. I love that this isn't just a brewery. There are cocktails and wines as well. We didn't try the food, but it looked good. Solid new spot by the Serge group that opened last summer! The space is huge with plenty of space both inside and outside. Plenty of parking for cars and bikes. They have plenty of activities, something for everyone (fire pits, cornhole, video games, pool, darts), and plenty of TVs (inside and out; too!) making it a great spot for Sunday football. The beer selection is pretty good, with several of their own brews on tap, plus a full bar for those not into beer. Didn't get a chance to eat, but their menu looked great. My mom and I came this evening; it's not that great. Granted it seems like a great hangout for locals obviously the name- however are bartender barely checked in on us. Told us to make a tan but we're not drinking that much. Tonight I ordered their shandy; which is the ale and sprite. My mom is trying out non alcoholic cocktails and got the Nojito- which is a $10 mock tail. Finally she got chips and cheese for a snack. They've got coin operated games and a change machine if carrying cash only. The ambiance reminds me of a sports pub with greasy food and a family friendly atmosphere. Kids had a blast. The chicken wings were cooked really well with the right amount of heat. We even ordered more to go. Played some pool, had an old fashioned and enjoyed the surrounding. Walking in, wide open welcoming vibe, and I really appreciated the personal touch of local photos embedded in the bar countertops; such a cool, community feel. A couple of things to note: the beers were a bit pricier and served in smaller pours compared to other nearby breweries. Also, we didn't realize until later that the indoor games were all coin-operated or required cash at the bar (we didn't have change on us, so it was lucky we stuck to the outdoor games.) Upon entering the brewery there are no signs stating that you seat yourself on a first come first serve basis, use a QR code on your table to order, and to have service you must use their WiFi. Well that's all good if their WiFi is working and not already being used by practically everyone inside and outside the brewery...needless to say we never could order our food from our table. After waiting in a long line at the bar we were able to place our food order. Since there are no waitresses you also cannot order water to drink with your meal - you have to use tiny cups and the water in the jugs instead. The food was good and it has a neat setup, however not user friendly to most visitors. read more

Lots of things to enjoy here but for me my tops were the electronic darts game ($10-20/hr), ping pong ($.25), and variety of different places to hang throughout this really big and open restaurant. Food is becoming of a SERG restaurant but I was still surprised at the large amount of handhelds - which personally I enjoy. Went with chicken tenders, tacos, and burger. All were very good. Chicken tenders are going to surprise you at how good they are. Best I've ever had. Tried the flight of beers. Lemme just say this: thank you for the 4-6% ABV beer options. I am not a lightweight but I'll tank pretty quickly after a few of the 8,9,10% that you find at many a micro-brew. For me, a more casual beer drinker, I appreciate the approachable taste and lack of rapid onset inebriation. The servers are clutch but just know that the ordering system is a little different here. Place your order at the bar and get a tracker which tells the food runners where you are or use your phone to order at the table using a QR code. Easy, but different. This would be a top choice destination for me if I was going out with friends or family and looking for an improved casual brewery experience. Upon arriving in Hilton head from the airport this was our first stop. The gentleman behind the bar was great, welcoming very friendly. Recommended the perfect beer and the perfect sandwich. Told us how they just upgraded their televisions, and & encouraged us to back for the Super Bowl. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay till Sunday. Stopped in during an off season island visit. Couldn't have been happier with my choice. The bar was huge and plenty of TVs to watch all the sports being broadcast. The beer was great (the American wheat was my favorite) and the happy hour prices were very inexpensive. The bartender was swamped with customers but I never waited for a beer and he never stopped smiling. The wings were phenomenal even though they weren't on the happy hour menu. There was a good mix of local families and obvious retirees. There were plenty of games (pool and shuffleboard) to keep people busy the outside beer garden looked phenomenal and I am sure this is where I will go on my next visit. read more

First time here and third brewery I've been to on HHI. First off I always adore breweries that have you scan the QR codes on the table which lets you view the menu on your phone and order that way. Instant bonus point for me. Secondly, the food menu was pretty damn solid. The shrimp and cheese dip either chips was delicious, as was the kids tenders and macaroni (so my kids told me!). Thirdly, the drink menu had enough beer/wine/liquor that should satisfy everyone. Beer flights of 4 5oz is $12 which is a great price. Happy Hour from 3-6p has decent deals as well. As for the atmosphere and location, they have plenty to do for adults and kids. Foosball, darts, ping pong, and old school games like NBA Jam. Indoor and outdoor seating with TVs and trivia as well. Absolutely would recommend and will be coming back next time we're on HHI! read more

Decided to give a relatively new addition to the HHI dining scene a try. Overall it has a decent vibe, but the food and service was sub par. There is no wait staff, so you have to order off a QR code or go to the bar to order. We found the online ordering system a little confusing because if you went about it one way you can only select the 16 ounce size of beer, whereas there are 10 and 20 ounce options in other pulldown menus (as listed on the printed menus). We had the Cobb salad with shrimp as well as the taco combo, which consisted of one fish taco and one shrimp taco along with fries. We ordered the salad without tomatoes and onions. It came with both as well as the wrong dressing. Fortunately, they promptly replaced it. We found the shrimp to be very bland with very little flavor. We asked a staff member for cocktail sauce and it never showed up, so had to go to the bar to request it. I thought the tacos were OK in terms of size and toppings, but also found the shrimp to be the same and the fish was kind of soggy. Fries were decent. The hazy IPA was acceptable. I like that it was lower in IBU, but wasn't the best hazy by far. Almost got a pool cue in the back - tables are a tad close to the billiard table! The place looked fine. However when me and my family entered we were instructed to sit ourselves at a table, not ideal but fine. And as we sit down we look at the menu and see we have to order our drinks and food on an online app. Ugh, but whatever, I load the app on to my iPhone (which took very long to load) and I enter the drinks in fine, however I went to edit the drinks for no ice and I was unable to do so. Next I wanted to add my meals and was unable to do so due to a technical error. I thought this place stinks and me and my family walked out. Great service. Excellent beer. They have domestic beers if you're not a craft beer guy. Food was pretty good. Wings are great and the brats are tasty. Tons of games for the kiddos.
