Nicely located, good sausage but that's about the positive...No personality, coffee is overpriced for self-serve which is located in the rear with limited condiments, non-attentive (coffee was empty the times I visited with (3) people working plus the owner, who walks around like he's the town mayor) Everyone, every business has a bad day and I will continue supporting local business and will update my review when applicable. read more

Really not impressed by this place and surprised by all the great reviews. Not a fan of coffee shops where you have to pour your own coffee and moreover that the only dairy option is cream. Excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I seem to prefer the burrito over the long-rolls. The ingredients are fresh, all made in-house (locally sourced or locally produced). The menu changes often but they have some core staples. The place is clean. They have tables inside/outside. The prices are reasonable. The owner is a cool gent (very active in the local community). Labor Day Breakfast Hands down the BEST breakfast I had in a long time. Quaint little spot in the heart of Haddon Heights. Being the hot dog connoisseur that I am, I felt obliged to try the best hot dogs in South Jersey. The food here is REALLY good. They have a surprisingly big menu and everything is full of bold flavors that will surely satisfy the customer. Not the mention, the portions are amazing. I just got a side of mac and cheese not realizing how big it would be, but it is almost the size of an actual meal. I definitely reccomend this restaurant to anybody around the area. I can't figure out why this place gets any good reviews. I stopped by for a breakfast sandwich because I was at the farmer's market which is located right next to this establishment. It wasn't crowded but I waited more than 20 minutes for a simple egg, cheese and pepper sandwich. I thought since it was nearly $9 that I would share it with my wife. That was a mistake and my wife went hungry because it was barely enough for 1. Don't worry, she ate when we got home and I did offer. The sandwich was bland and the roll wasn't even freshly baked. This is an awesome little lunch spot my fiance and I just discovered! We were driving around the area, and we happed to discover this place during our ride along. We stop in the tiny sandwich shop and were greeted by a friendly staff person. There are only a few tables inside, but a good amount out doors. I got a sausage parmesan sandwich because that sounded so satisfying. The sandwich was delicious and it was nice to sit outside on a sunny say while enjoying our food. This is our go to place. My whole family has favorites here. The burritos are different and very fresh. The fish tacos are light and flavorful. The Mac and cheese and BUFFALO Mac and cheese are unreal. I had an eggplant special I still think about. Soups are flavorful and feel wholesome. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and with attention to detail. Do not forget the smoothies, kombucha, and desserts. Yum. This spot really wowed me in more ways than one. The first time I went I had the breakfast burrito which I literally told everyone I know about as soon as I left. I still think about it daily. The second time I called to place a pick up order. I believe the owner answered the call and literally walked me through the menu, their specials offered that day, and even gave me a brief explanation of exactly how some items were made. He made recommendations without even being asked to and appeared eager to help in any way he could. I want to make it a point to try everything on their menu! Have eaten here twice - once for eat-in lunch (there was a limited menu, due to a special event), coffee, and a smoothie, and once for breakfast delivery. Both times were positive interactions with great food. The french toast burrito is PHENOMENAL, as is their veggie breakfast burrito (which is wonderfully huge, and mysteriously easy to finish). My green smoothie was quite good, as was the coffee. Neither drink was the absolute best we'd ever had, but both were in the higher tiers. I'm a fan of local, organic, and vegetarian, and this place hits all those marks, even having a little "market area", which sells soaps and whatnot. I do hope the resources are available so they could be a little more "local, organic, and vegetarian-friendly", without sacrificing their appeal to those meat-eating customers or those who think local and organic is just a passing fad. It's great to have this option close-by, however! I totally dig their owner's community-investment advocacy and how he's surely brought awareness to many about eating locally (and, fairly healthy). While eating-in, we noticed that the woman at the register (I don't recall her name, but she was a little older) is super-good at her job - gracefully handled a busy, hungry, (&, slightly buzzed) crowd as well as being an important team-player in the kitchen / behind the counter. She worked with the effortlessness and effectiveness of a Fairy Godmother! The young woman at the grill stayed calm and focused as she banged out one tasty burrito after another. Her loyal helper dutifully followed her direction, in order to get the meals to the hungry masses. The smoothie / coffee guy was as chill as Shaggy after some Scooby Snax, and very personable as he whipped up some 98% correct and 98% delicious drink concoctions. That 2% actually added to his charm! His super-awesome personality along with the uplifting experience of watching the well-oiled team happily serve a seriously never-ending line of customers more than made up for any minor nits I could pick in accuracy or taste. (Which I'm generally pretty picky about!) The restaurant is on the corner, next to the railroad tracks. There are several small tables and lots of light from the large windows. The kitchen area is open and not much larger than a food truck. Kinda reminds me of an old-school, south philly, corner luncheonette. Has a similar vibe, with a "hipster" update (in a good way). I kinda dig that they serve on paper plates, but I do hope they're recycled or sustainably-sourced. I'm super-happy they deliver (especially breakfast - however, with that amazing french toast burrito, that's also a bit dangerous...). And, I'm happy that their menu has some really solid options for vegetarians and omnivores alike, including some creative smoothies and coffee drinks. I'm looking forward to seeing how they evolve their menu and their impact on the community. I'm definitely glad this place exists and will surely be back soon! read more

I am a foodie at heart! A bunch of my buddies have been talking about this place and certain items they loved at this newer establishment located over in Haddon Heights. My wife and I are both born and raised in SJ and enjoy any new eaterys when not traveling or going to local breweries. We love to find new places to try! So what thought what the hay we give this place awhirl. We decided to try this place several times. Now I must say before I go further with this review that this review is an overall review of going to Local Links 5 different times. I decided to finally write a review after my last and final experience at this place. The first time I took my beautiful wife out for breakfast back in December. We had never been so we asked the cook that was also working the counter on suggestions as to what people come in for. I think is name was Mick. He sold the wife and I on this out the world Sauasge breakfast wraps!! We were so satistifed. I thought the prices were little steep but after eating that melt in your mouth goodness we were happy to pay that. We returned and ordered another round of this mouth Watering goodness! This time a woman was working the grill seemed more interested in talking, joking with the wife then cooking my breakfast . HA! I patiently waited but was getting annoyed on the dry jokes. The sausage seemed to been overcooked, not as juicy as it was the first time. I noticed that they were not as great as we last had prior. We were really disappointed, I wished that girl would of focused on my breakfast than joking with my wife. My wife is a talker but even she was annoyed. Any Hoo! So We came back like week later hoping to get this guy My wife and I figured that two each is too own . Sure enough this guy Mick was there. My wife was so excited! He greeted us just like the first time around. He offered us so many options, selections and no dry joking and pushy talking like the blonde woman did last visit. Now Mick served us up some the best Tacos I ever tasted! The wife and I got Chicken tacos. They hit the spot, juicy, flavorful, grilled nice white meat, lettuce, tomatoes to perfection! They were spot on nicely drizzled in sarchia sauce. They could of came out of a magazine ad. I been to many many establishments . These are handsdown the best chicken tacos! My wife added a smoothie with her order it had chocolate and peanutbutter. She really enjoyed it! Mick checked on us as we ate inside. The place seems to get busy as we were there for a bit we saw a lot of traffic. Mick had one other young lady Sam with him and was delivering some amazing service to all, could believe how many people came in and out inthe time we were eating in. My buddies go in here and their with each other, their wifes, family and what not. So for my fourth visit I went without my wife and with my buddies who highly recommended this place to begin with. We went at night this time. I live in Haddonfeild so it close enough to stop in anytime for us. I ususally shop, dine and buy in my hometown, We have a larger downtown with way more to offer, shops, resturants, coffee ect. But I figured Haddon Heights has been building it self up over the past several years. I know few others in town who adventure over there and like few spots. I decided to have those chicken tacos again! I get stuck on something and I got have it. So 3 out four of use had Chicken tacos and my odd man out guy got himself a sausage burrito. He gave me a bite of that Burrito and it was delicious! I Saw the woman and owner this time cooking. The tacos disappointment!!! I thought I was going to choke to death on them. My buddies agreeded that they were being cooked differently, I had told them about the few past experiences with my wife and how I felt things were not quality controlled each time. My Wife and I have never been disappointment with the one guy Mick. My buddies come a lot more than I do and he said this is actually a normal thing. He picks and chooses certain days to come in and knows Mick very well, My buddy said that they see the difference with certain cooks too. It a small place and there are only a few that cook and others work the counter, The owner apparently is not a cook but more of a business man. The woman is a Brandy and jokes but cant cook either ! They agreeded the servce is not across the board. Apparently one my buddy said the owner curses in front of costumers all time, walks around like a know it all and is extremely pushy on sales! My buddy has heard them basically bashing this Mick guy which is the only one I ever even had excellent service from! If I go back I know the days and times the wife and I will go! I will not pay for overpriced slop! If you go do not go on Wed, as Mick not in that day, I was extremely disappointment by my last visit a few weeks ago. I wished that Mick guy was working everytime I go. It a turnoff and incovience that service can't be good every visit. Service needs to be same!! read more

We've gotten lunch take out over the last year but this was the first time we went in for breakfast. We tried some fresh mozzarella which was awesome. We shared the breakfast sampler and burrito platter. The pancakes were fresh and tasted wonderful with a hint of cinnamon and real maple syrup. The burrito was stuffed with everything. It was so good! The potatoes came with big fresh cuts of sausage, peppers and onions. We ended with 2 cannoli's. The entire experience was great and we will be back! read more

I had the green goddess smoothie and chicken salad wrap. both items were delicious although $7 was a bit expensive for the size of the smoothie. seating is limited, by the looks of it this place is designed more for takeout customers catching the train across the street. overall this place had fast service and good food with a nice selection of sandwiches, tacos, salad, and wraps. a good spot for a quick healthy lunch. read more
