Wow! This place is great. Small restaurant but huge in taste. We had the San Juan Cubano and the Cruz Cubano. Both sandwiches were amazing, well seasoned and toasted to perfection. Their juices (or juice) since they only had Maracuya the day we went, was very good also. For a place you order first, and sit down after, they are very attentive and checked on us twice to see if we wanted anything else. I don't usually give 5 stars, but I was really impressed by this place. Definitely worth a try-- just a few minutes off of exit 3 of the NJ turnpike. read more

I really enjoyed my food! I got the La Fortuna and it was delicious. The ambiance was very nice and I liked the ceiling clouds. The Cashier was super nice and she took our trash out of the way. I stopped in today after yoga across the street with my mom. The restaurant was empty on a Thursday afternoon except some others from our yoga class that had let out. The restaurant is small but there are a couple tables to sit down. The store was decorated in such a cute way with plenty of plants, artwork, and bright colors. You felt happy just being there! You order at the counter and the man who took our order was very friendly. Following her recommendation I got the Dominical burrito with chicken tinga. She order the same thing but tried the mojo pork. She also order the fresh juice of the day, which was pineapple. The food came out within ten minutes with a nice presentation and very hot. I loved my burrito! The chicken tinga had a little kick to it, that added a nice flavor but was not overwhelming at all. The rest of the burrito was also very fresh and delicious! Many restaurants that have you order at the counter do not continue to wait on you, but here the workers were attentive in taking our dishes and giving us napkins without us asking. I definitely recommend giving SunPress a try if you are in the area! I cannot wait to come back for more of their menu! read more

Friendly Staff, and the food is remarkable terrific! Lots of restaurants that serve classic tex mex food like Tacos and burritos, but not as many restaurants that serve a gourmet grilled cuban sandwiches! I have been to the Sun Press a few times, and for an affordable price of about 13 or 14 bucks, I can get a cuban sandwich that leaves me stuffed and not hungry again for hours. I got the classic cuban cuban, with the pork, ham, pickles, and mustard, and it was packed with flavor, it was delicious! Didn't need to get a side dish or anything, and I'm not a small guy. Ordered takeout for two cubano sandwiches. One with no pickles or mustard. When we arrived, they had the order ready and sandwiches were piping hot. There is a reach in fridge with sodas. A few plastic molded tables area available for dining in. The staff was friendly and we were in and out in a jiffy. Their menu isn't huge, but it seems what they do, they do well. Brought the cubanos home, and they were spot on! Delicious crispy bread, tender inside. The pork is moist and flavorful. Perhaps could have used a bit more cheese but we were impressed! It is a quick return to come back for more. A bit tangy, sweet and a little crunch. The pork is savory and is the dealbreaker to this sandwich. Apologies for no pictures. We split the real Cuban sandwich and the Dominical chicken tinga burrito. I couldn't choose one over the other if I tried. I enjoyed them both for different reasons. The Cuban was probably one of the best I've had in the area. Great flavor and portion size. I wasn't sure how the plaintain would be in the burrito but it definitely made it. It added a nice sweetness and moisture. My only comment is that it would've been dry if I didn't get the sour cream and/or guacamole sides. read more

SunPress exceeded my expectations! The woman who took my order and the workers were all very nice. The food was phenomenal. It was clearly all fresh and made well. My only warning to future customers is that the salsa is more spicy than you may think! It's very good, but if you're sensitive to spice, I'd suggest to avoid it or only have a little. Also, it was a little warm in there. I went right when they opened for lunch, so the air conditioner may not have been cold enough yet is all. All in all, a great experience. A refresh of the space, SunPress did not disappoint on their opening day. I ordered Tamarind Juice and Real Cubano. Picked up in just under 20 min from placing my order online at their site. Greeted by friendly staff and owner the place was buzzing, including patrons eating outside at tables. Upon opening the container for the sandwich, I was surprised and please with the size for the price. First bite, , crunch of the roll and blast of flavor each one hits with every chew Next a sip of the Tamarind Juice (which I've never had), very tasty and refreshing. Only giving this 5 stars because I can't give it 10. I was expecting this to be good however it far exceeded my expectations. Good is an understatement. I order the Real Cuban and it was amazing. I ate the first half as it came and for the second half I added some fresh jalapeños I grew myself. Not because the sandwich needed them but mostly because I eat them on everything. Believe me this press needed no help in the flavor department. Probably the best pork I've had in years. I also ordered a side of rice and I was very pleased with it as well. My wife ordered the Cruz Cubana which I can only assume was fantastic because she housed the entire thing before I could have a bite. If you have not been here yet you're only hurting yourself. Just finished lunch at SunPress on Merchant St., Audubon. What a treat! After 20 years in California hard to find a place that offers Mexican food this good! Black Beans, (which I prefer), and burritos and tacos that hit the spot. Not all covered in sauces just good, clean, fresh, food! A small shop that I will find myself in again and again I'm sure! This place was a very pleasant find for my wife and me. We got chips/salsa/guac to start. The guac was a little too lime-flavored, but otherwise very good. Nice fresh hot (very hot!) chips too. Then my wife got a classic Cubano sandwich, big and tasty. I got the Rico Tico burrito with pork. Also big and tasty. I quite enjoyed the plantain and pork together, sweet and savory. On the downside, the burrito was loosely put together and collapsed after one bite. On the upside, I think it actually works better as a bowl anyway: you can better control ratios of the fillings for the perfect bite every time. The second half of the burrito held together fine, but I actually disassembled it to eat it more like a bowl. Key lime pie was also a nice treat. Service was very polite, kind and helpful.
