I don't leave reviews and not that they need yet another 5-star review to add to their almost 1K perfect reviews, but they said they'd still appreciate one so I gladly leave this review. George and John are two very sharp and highly knowledgeable plumbers. From the initial call/text correspondence through work completion, they were very informative, personable, highly skilled, and extremely efficient plumbers. Never could I have imagined plumbing repair work could be such an easy and pleasant experience. I initially thought I was going with another plumber due to earlier availability but once I was quoted double by the plumber (also a family-run business with high Yelp ratings) who hadn't even attempted to see inside the shower part, I immediately reached back out to Rishon. Not once did I feel uncomfortable as is often the case with service providers who try to upsell and take advantage. To provide context, I was fully informed of the potential extent of repairs needed to resolve a leaking shower (old house with old fixtures), which could entail an entire valve replacement (requiring breaking of drywall) if a simpler cartridge replacement would not be possible due to calcification, and that this could only be confirmed upon physical inspection. However, to my utter surprise and delight, they were able to fix the leak without even having to replace the cartridge! They're incredible -- they inspected, took parts out, further inspected, maneuvered, blew, etc. and it was fixed. I was just taken aback by their honesty in letting me know this and their integrity to not even charge for this. Now the cartridge will likely need to be replaced at some point and they did let me know it's a part they've not come across but they're looking for it. They will be the ones to replace it when the times comes -- along with any other plumbing job in the future. They've got a new lifetime customer. They also did another job of flushing the water heater, which I understand is a must for regular maintenance. Straightforward, fast, and they come prepared with everything -- highly recommend to extend the life not only of your water heater but also your pipes and fixtures as well as to prevent leaks. Call Rishon Plumbing. Guarantee you will not waste time or money calling around for quotes or using less qualified plumbers. So overjoyed I now have a plumber to call for maintenance or issues. I knew what the core problem was and that the drain was physically blocked some distance from the sink itself, and I realized that I couldn't fix it myself. So after checking Yelp and finding the stellar reviews I just called Victor at 11.04 in the morning, and he picked up himself :). We chatted and he asked me to text our exact address (which I did) and he texted back that he had a couple of jobs near us but that he thought he could be with by 7pm. It got to about 8.30pm so I texted and he called back and said he could be with us in 15 minutes if it wasn't too late or he would come first thing in the morning. I said please come now and he did. It was Victor himself, a real gentleman who REALLY knows his stuff! 45 minutes later the sink was flowing again like magic. He cleaned everything up and took care to wear shoe covers and gloves. Please think twice about this plumber…read more SoCalGas said I have a slow gas leak, and in order to restore service, a plumber would have to test and fix the leak. Less than 5 minutes after Jose's arrival -- WITHOUT doing any testing ... or even looking at the hookups (water heater, dryer & stove), he said I would have to replace ALL my gas lines. This did not sound right. When I asked him why he wasn't going to test the lines, he said "they're all underground" and shrugged, as if this was the obvious answer. When I pushed back, he said he could "test the gas meter for leaks" pointing to the couplings on the meter. Again, this made no sense -- the gas company had just tested the meter, and years ago I had the same situation and a plumber did pressurized air testing and fixed a small leak. When I told Jose I knew for a fact that lines can be tested he immediately pivoted in his tracks, quickly mumbling, "You don't understand...I'm outta here." (Well, Jose, I understood very well what you were about. And, yes, you are outta here.) Needless to say, despite what he told me on the phone, Jose clearly had no capacity or expertise to test my gas lines. He hoped I was ignorant and uninformed (and desperate to get the gas turned back on). He clearly tried to dupe me into believing I needed to REPIPE all my gas lines. Totally reprehensible, unethical, opportunistic behavior. BEWARE.

I had the Flood Brothers team redo all the drains in my home last year after significant ongoing…read moreissues in my 80-year-old home. They repaired a lot of old poorly done work, and were very thorough. When I recently experienced a drain clog in the shower, I called another local plumber because they advertised a drain snaking special. Not only was that bait and switch (only if they can clean the drain from the cleanout only, which is unlikely with a shower), that plumber came out, told me they could've done the job cheaper, and then failed to be able to fix the clog. I called yesterday, and Brandon from Flood Brothers came today, put five minutes of hard work and elbow grease in and figured it out and fixed the problem. It was just a giant hair clog! They stand behind their work, and I will have them back to finish the rest of the plumbing updates to my home.
