Unfortunately, the finished color was completely different from the photos. My hair was left an ashy, mousy brown with very little dimension, and the blonde money piece I requested in the front was gone. I was also charged an additional $50 for toner, which was not explained to me beforehand. I was very disappointed with the result and will need to have my hair corrected elsewhere. Based on this experience, I would not return to Trisha.

Called Wheeler Davis and spoke to the owner. Explained my needs, including a color correction and wanted a fabulous longterm stylist to work with as I was modeling. Discovered he booked me with the 'walk in stylist" so I only booked a consult. During my consult I realized the stylist knew her stuff and wondered why the salon wasn't allowing her to build a client base. Well I discovered why when a few months later over half the staff walked out due to poor working conditions, unhappy clients and along with a dose of snooty vibe. I followed the stylist who did my color correction and have been with her ever since. Heard Lo is interested in the Who's Who and famous people in the surfing world which I understand from a marketing standpoint. Mari at local waves has been doing my hair for years. I was so excited to see her opening her own salon. She absolutely nails the natural, beach wave look every time. She is especially good with curly or wavy hair and that's sooooo hard to find. She uses really good products, which I love! My color lasts a really long time. Unlike most women who have extensions for length, I got extensions to fill in patches of hair where I was experiencing hair loss, and that was on the sides of my head around my ears. I was forced to keep my hair short for years to cover for it, but with the help of Melissa and extensions, I can actually grow my hair long. Melissa consulted with me and how we could do it and make it look natural, she selected the right colors to fill in, and really she gave me back my confidence. I've been doing extensions with her for almost 2 years now. I started out with tape-in, and then she suggested that I try K tip for longevity and just for general wear and tear since I travel a lot for business. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. She makes my hair look very natural and and the way she cuts them makes them, you would never know that I had extensions. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out, she's a miracle worker who has really helped me gain my confidence, learn how to do my hair again, and feel pretty and feminine. I shared photos with a few other professional stylists to get their opinion, and they were genuinely mortified by the blend. I also want to mention that I was charged for removal, which I wasn't expecting based on what I was initially told. I've had this service done before by another stylist, and the difference in quality was very clear. The salon itself is clean and the stylist was friendly, which is why I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 1, but I wouldn't return for extensions.

I went to Salon Bamboo in San Clemente and saw Trisha for a partial highlight with highlights and…read morelowlights. I was quoted $135. I brought three pictures and clearly explained that I wanted blonde hair with contrast and dimension. I was told this could be achieved. Unfortunately, the finished color was completely different from the photos. My hair was left an ashy, mousy brown with very little dimension, and the blonde money piece I requested in the front was gone. I was also charged an additional $50 for toner, which was not explained to me beforehand. I was very disappointed with the result and will need to have my hair corrected elsewhere. Based on this experience, I would not return to Trisha.

I have to say I had such a great experience having Suzanne do my hair! I haven't had my hair done…read morein a long time which made it so much more work for her. Not only was she up for the challenge, she did a magnificent job! She is a true color artist and such a professional hairstylist. Thankyou so much Suzanne for making me feel gorgeous again. She was great at calming my nerves, making me feel confident that she would not damage my hair and give me that beachy blonde hair that I desired.
