Food was just great. I ordered the white fish adriatica. The fish was good but what brings the flavor to this plate is the sauce so make sure that you mix the sauce evenly and try small pieces with the sauce. Add a little bit of the veggies as well and you just get a good flavor. The bread was really good as well. I ordered a Canoli as well and it was just great. The service was great. The server was helpful and very courteous, and attentive. Oh try the lemon abc soup. Definitely a one to try. Even though, I tired the minestrone the other soup was great as well.

I "found" and selected this restaurant through Yelp. My fellow Yelp reviewers got it right. This is a charming Italian restaurant with a very inviting and comfortable ambiance. The menu has a nice selection of food and drinks. My party's food was prepared to order and every item was good or very good. The service was good. Recommended.

It's like original Sajo's. Food was great, desserts impressive and service was everything you want in a restaurant. The decor on the inside has changed very little.

We went to Soluna for the first time Saturday Nov30, first time for my husband and I, walked in, asked table for two, hostess got ready to seat us when of the servers came up to them and got very loud in their faces. Not very welcoming, hostess seated us and told us the loud server was our server, ok, I can deal with that, asked us for drink order, I asked for orange pop(soda) she did not understand , she kept saying juice I said no, then offered orange slices, again I said no, she had an accent so it made communication a bit hard, finally I asked root beer, she did not know, so I said Pepsi and she understood that. I'm not a big meat eater so ordered eggplant Parmesan, I did notice it had spinach and mushrooms in it. We ordered minestrone soup but it did not come out hot, we sent those back. Received eggplant and it was served nicely but the taste was not there , I was disappointed, I ate half. My husband had brazini (fish) and it was very fishy, they should have cut off most of the skin, I will say big disappointment for dinner, and we will not be coming back. The service was okay except she never came back after food was served, she kept running into a banquet room. Once we were done, she brought our soup to go. The restaurant itself was nice to walk into but I think the servers should not be getting snippy with the hostesses, but she should have known what drinks the restaurant has. No one came around to ask us how our dinner was, usually a manager is checking on his food, never saw anyone who even looked or acted like a manager This restaurant is pricey Woukd we come back, No

My husband and I decided to try Soluna for dinner tonight for the first time. The bread came with an herbed olive oil to dip with hints of red pepper flakes and the owner gave us an olive tapenade to try with the bread as well. Very tasty. Each entree came with soup or salad. I had the salad with the house Parmesan vinaigrette and my husband had the lemon rice soup (not pictured). I ordered the Chicken Pecan dinner and my husband ordered one of the specials. It was a short rib ragu with a dollop of ricotta cheese. Then we ended our meal with the tiramisu. So delicious. Before our bill came the owner gave us another free surprise. 2 cannolis. The place was clean and the service was great. Give it a try! -- at Soluna Restaurant.

Unusual pricing. Mediocre food quality at best. Slow service. Dark setting. They need to price appetizers differ than lunch entrees.

This is the old Sajo's. Menu is Italian cuisine. A bit pricey but worth it if you get Jeff as your server. So engaging and pleasant.

To broaden our experience, my friend and I split everything we ordered. Dinner was AMAZING....5/5 APPETIZER: "Burrata Camponata" A mound of this heavenly Eggplant Relish, severalthick slices of fresh Burrata oozing cheese, and a big mound of imported, freshly shaved Prosciutto off of the special shaver that sits in the dining room for the dishes that require this beautifully seasoned ham. Absolutely delicious appetizer! The basket of fresh Italian bread and olive oil for dipping was put to use with our glasses of Chianti and then enjoyed very soon as an olive oil topped bread base for our well-placed trio of this gorgeous appetizer. Next, for the salad, we chose to split the "Charred (on a hot coal grill !) Romaine on the grill Caesar Salad" with an anchovie garnish The perfectly seasoned croutons were made in-house, and so was their most divine (BEST I've ever had) Caesar dressing! We split 2 Entrees: Pasta Carbonara created in the imported, authentic, giant Parmesan wheel table-side Espresso-encrusted Prime cut sirloin steak Med Rare with roasted redskins and fresh, petite green beans. It was the most tender cut of beef with huge flavor, made even more so from the grill. It was perfection, simple fare, highest quality of ingredients, all prepared and presented beautifully. The staff were always attentive, though not smothering, and genuinely friendly with a ready smile. DESSERT: We split "heaven-in-your-mouth" x2 : a piece of Dubai Chocolate cheesecake and a serving of the Tiramisu. "Ecstasy," is all we could say as the perfect wrap-up to this gourmet trip to Italy Mangiabevi, you haunt me daily until I return.

Our dinner started with easy to make reservations for four for a Friday night. Once arrived we were promptly seated and introductions made, Annie was our server(and more). I had note seen the menu in over a year so I personally was delighted to see plenty of ocean going features, specifically the grilled Octopus, shellfish and more. Before the food everyone agreed on a drink. Everyone tried something different than the others. Drinks included a Chocolate Martini, Limoncello(homemade) like grandma made it) Martini, Tanqueray and Tonic and Makers Mark Old fashioned for me. Everyone agreed the drinks were just right. Annie was then asked to bring out some Grilled Octopus. A HUGE and thick long leg was then served. DELICIOUS! Dinner was ordered with some questions(by me). I was intrigued by the Black Linguine. Basically a fruit de Mare or shellfish but with white wine. I asked for a subscription to a spicy red pasta sauce, not available. However, my friends wife chose this and said it was delicious. My friend and also my opted for the table side Carbonara. Basically a long sting pasta with a cheese wheel at the table. The cheese gets heated up and then scraped and put into the pasta. Our cheese scraper was entertaining and put on a nice show. For me, I decided on the Branzino, which was served whole but deboned at the table, with sauteed spinach. From the first bite, I was in heaven. We then had a second round of drinks, the girls switched things up and went for Cosmos, us guys repeated what we had earlier. Lastly, we just had to have dessert and were we glad we did. Both couple opted to share with one another. Our friends chose the Profiterole which they said was delicious. However, everyone loved our choice; Nicciola Mousse Tart. This is a MUST get. I can't even describe it other than I should have gotten one for the road. This place also had some soft entertainment, keyboard player. So glad we made the journey here. Highly recommend it!

They were great with accommodating our large group and our server was amazing! Everyone enjoyed their meal and everything was served quickly. He even came over to the table and checked in with us, which made the experience feel so much more personable! I ordered the eggplant parm and subbed for palomino sauce... it was incredible! Be sure to try the chicken gnocchi soup- SO good. The ambiance is dim-lit and romantic, but comforting and decorated like an intimate restaurant in Italy. They also have a great wine selection. I cannot wait to come back!

There was a little hiccup -- no website or photos of the menu that I could find anywhere online. I realize I might be spoiled since the pandemic but not being able to even pull up an online menu (or quickly place a to go order online via Toast) feels like a missed opportunity, especially when they offer a full to go menu. When I called the business, the woman on the phone seemed confused about our dietary restrictions (vegetarian) and when I asked what she could recommend she didn't offer all the veg options on the menu to us, even after I clarified what I meant. She seemed annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted to order without having a menu. After going on yelp and looking for recommendations I was excited to try the mushroom soup... but it was sold out (another surprise since it was barely 5pm). Ultimately what we did order - palomino gnocchi - was very tasty and generous portion size so the food gets 5 stars but the attitude was a turn off. I did get a copy of the menu to post here so others don't have to relive my pain :)

Walking inside feels like stepping back in time, and the classic atmosphere really adds to the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Inside is dark, moody, with lots of brick and dark woods as you would expect for the era in which the building was constructed. I sat at the bar since I dined alone, where there were plenty of open barstools. They start you off with complementary bread service which is a mix of dinner rolls as well as small and large crunchy bread sticks. I just stuck to the rolls which are fairly standard dinner rolls. They bring a bowl of butter in packets; however, they did not give me a plate to eat my bread....just a napkin layed across the bartop which was strange. I later saw other bartop patrons being served a small plate for their rolls, so apparently they just forgot mine. For drinks, they do have all the usual drinks, beer, wine and cocktails. I just stuck with an iced tea which was refilled several times during my visit. I didn't want to go crazy with ordering so I just stuck to the prime rib, a side of their special baked potato, a french onion soup and an iced tea. Their actual steaks start at around $45, as of August 2026. French onion soup - pretty standard. This is a small portion/cup. Some restaurants cup sizes are larger than others. I did like it though. Prime rib - this is a healthy 16oz slice. Cooked to perfection. They asked how I wanted it....they gave me a perfect slice. The one interesting thing is they give you 2 different horseradishes here, regular and whipped. I preferred the whipped. I ate most of it, leaving only a couple of ounces at the end. The entire time I felt like this was maybe closer to 22 or 24 ounces. Twice baked potato - really tasty as they typically are. I was only able to eat half of it though. Service was very attentive even though the bartender was training a new employee the entire time.
