I knew I was late so I said, "please just give me a haircut" to respect my hairdressers time. When I went to pay, O'Hair Salon's Salon Manager made the decision to charge me the full amount of the foil I did not receive- I would. have been ok for a fee but $175 for being 30 minutes late .?? AND, in addition to paying around $230 4 times a year for seven years.... to do the math... This is spending over $10,000 over 7 years. To not cut me a break.... not cool and disrespectful, to me, as a patron. O'hair Salon needs to check themselves when it comes to this type of management judgement calls.

I also needed my roots touched up so I agreed to call and set up and appt. I had to reschedule my first appointment because my day off got switched at work... She was able to fit me in on a Saturday after I got off work, which would put her past the time she normally worked and I was very greatful! When I got there, I showed her the picture of what I wanted. The same picture I used to get the the color I was currently at, which was not far off. It just had a little more brassy tone than I wanted. After showing her the picture she asked if wanted to cut any of it. I said yes a little. We agreed to right at my breast (my hair was almost at my butt) She cut it across real quick and I was happy with the length. She gave her assistant mixing instructions and then started coloring my hair. As she was coloring it, she said what I'm doing is just starting over. I said ok... as I believed she was just re-foiling the hair (in the same colors , the color in the picture). As she put all these foils in I could estimate this was going to be a full foil price. Not what I agreed to but if she was going to make it look great, I was ok with it. Long story short... She ended up going a whole different route with the color. It pulled super ashy to the point it looks grey/silver/green in most lighting. I don't know why in the salon lighting you couldn't see it but as soon as I walked out side, I could see it and it got worse as the day went on. On top of that when she went in to finish up the cut, you know just clean it up, since she already cut the length to where I wanted it.. She ended up cutting several more inches off and adding tons of layers. Basically a sag cut. Which would have been great if that was what I wanted! She chopped my hair off and didn't even ask! My hair went from all the way down my back, to touching my shoulders. Ladies we all know, when you have your hair long and you don't have any intentions of going short how you feel when someone takes it upon themselves to cut all your hair off! You think that's the end of this story? Then wait for the bill! $485.00 BEFORE TIP! WHY???? YOU ASK? WELL apparently I needed two things of gloss at $55 each on top of the $290 for cut and foil... I also needed another color I didn't know I needed for $95 and then I needed extra product for $20. I went from just remove the brassy and do my roots... To ending up going home with all my hair cut off, an ash gone wild hair color I didn't know I wanted. AND ALL THAT GLOSS I PAID FOR!?!! IDK HIDING BEHIND THE ASH? Is going to get fixed you ask??? Sorry she isn't available any of the days I'm off for the next several weeks and she closes at 5 pm every day so that's not happening.
