She worked with me on look that I told her I wanted and helped me to tailor it to an even better one that complimented the outfit I was wearing. This was the one team we regretted hiring (we hired three stylists). Cristina was awesome. Shadira and Lulu were unprofessional, completely changed our getting ready vibe, and my bridesmaids ended up with heavy, caked on makeup despite us asking repeatedly for less makeup. When the team arrived, Shadira and Lulu started loudly talking amongst themselves and were so loud, our bridal party could barely talk over the two stylists that arrived. It seemed like it was a social event for the stylists, instead of for our bridal party. They then even rudely and loudly commented about how the vibe was "boring" and we should play better music.... We found this very unprofessional. When we were showing photos of how we wanted the makeup look to be, we repeatedly asked Lulu for less makeup because we didn't want any heavy foundation or contouring. It seemed like the makeup artist had "one mode". I walked by at one point and politely asked if we'd be able to tone down the makeup and the artist shockingly said "I don't like it when people get up in my space." The final look was then overly heavy and explicitly not what we had asked for / provided photos of. Overall, waste of money - we would have been better off doing the makeup ourselves, especially since they didn't listen to what we wanted & changed the atmosphere so materially. read more

Was in a wedding recently where the bride used this business. We paid $100 for make up and $100 for hair. The scheduled said each session would be 40 minutes. Everyone's hair was absolutely amazing. I loved my hair so much! The woman who was doing hair was fun, professional and was a true expert. Unfortunately, I wish I would have done my own makeup. My makeup took about 20 minutes and melted off before the ceremony even started. This was the case for a few of us. We had to help the maid of honor redo some of her makeup because it had so many cracks in it and her face was orange. One of the bridesmaids foundation didn't match her face as it was too light. She decided it might be better to take the foundation off and use her own. My makeup was so caked that I could barely move my face. We all thought we were getting airbrushed makeup (again we paid $100) but instead the only person who got airbrush was the bride. The rest of us got sponges, which I could have done myself. Two of us also had to ask for our eyebrows to be redone even after showing a picture to the makeup artist. The makeup artist didn't seem too excited to be there and didn't make me feel comfortable. This was a very expensive service for the quality. read more

I was extremely pleased with all of my wedding vendors except for this one. All feedback has already been provided to the vendor. -The hair and makeup artists were both about 30 minutes late to their individual trials with me. -I had to ask multiple times for the hair and makeup schedule for my wedding day. -I paid in advance but the hair and makeup artists were not made aware of this and asked for payments on my wedding day. Nobody thought they would ask for payment if they were already paid so we ended up paying double. This money had to be collected from the artists and reimbursed to me days later. -The makeup artist didn't START my makeup until everyone was scheduled to be finished. This caused us to be late with photos and to be late arriving to the venue. After the fact, the MUA blamed this on people coming in & out of a door that she set up next to. However, she chose to set up there & never mentioned it being a hinderence. She also blamed this on the MOH texting on her phone while having her makeup done. However, she didn't even start on the MOH until 12pm, when she was scheduled to start at 11:30, meaning she was already well behind schedule. -Priscilla tried to blame the delay on me not responding to the MUA's 7pm text the night before my wedding. She claimed she was texting to ask for what makeup looks we wanted. All the MUA texted was that she was looking forward to working with me again. I was in the middle of my rehearsal dinner so I was unable to text back. She never asked for makeup looks, but even if she was planning on it, the night before my wedding is not an appropriate time. Also, we already discussed looks at the trial that I paid for. -Priscilla also tried to blame the delay on the MUA not being able to set up early. This is a lie because the MUA texted me asking for the address 30 minutes before she was scheduled to arrive. I have provided the hotel information in advance to Priscilla, but this was not communicated to the MUA. I was outside waiting for both the hair stylist and the MUA with parking passes when they arrived. -The contract has typos that make sentences illegible. -The makeup artist did not have foundation dark enough for one of my bridesmaids. Instead of being honest about this, she tried to make do by caking on makeup that did not make her skin tone. We ended up just having to wash it off. -When given feedback regarding the poor time management, Priscilla looked to ways to blame us instead of trying to make it right. Even though none of these excuses made sense. When given feedback about the makeup not matching, Priscilla said that because we paid, we agreed that we were satisfied. Her responses only worsened the experience. -Despite being 45 minutes behind on my makeup, the MUA made sure to stop and take several photos of bridesmaids for her "portfolio." -The day after the wedding, after we left the hotel and after being blamed for the MUA running way over time, the MUA texted us asking to arrange for her to pick up a brush she lost. -If you want a stress free wedding day, this is not the vendor for you. I was hesitant about having my make up done by a professional. But Priscilla allayed all those fears. I'm very fair skinned and have quite a few sun spots on my face. Priscilla used a mixture of application techniques to get the look I was seeking: traditional brush and air brush. The results were better than I hoped! My face looked radiant and Priscilla succeeded in giving me the natural and "dewy" look that is typical of Chinese brides. The false lashes also felt comfortable and didn't bother me at all. Let me start by saying that picking a make up artist was one of the harder decisions for me for our November 5th wedding. I went back and forth between so many make up artists until I stumbled upon Priscilla's work. I was just so happy I had found her! Her work is absolutely beautiful and this was just when I was searching her website and had not met her yet. I quickly set up my bridal trial and was truly blown away by her attitude, her heart, and just her in general! She is so kind and humble. She listened to exactly what I was looking for in regards to my make up and just made me feel absolutely gorgeous. She listened and made sure everything was what I wanted, such as eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation, etc. She executed it beautifully!
