There were connection issues with the iPad to sign all documents. It took an hour waiting on this. I'm patient. The lead mover called the supervisor to approve removing 1 hour for this issue. Supervisor agreed. I received a call from Josh saying I had an outstanding bill of 1 and 1/2 hours. This isn't great customer service. I would not recommend 2 men and a truck.

Things already in the truck But he was the driver so the other two we're with him so they started unloading the truck and left me stranded without movers I had to start desperately seeking other movers which turned out to be a move from Hell These moving companies are lacking in hiring. I was quoted for a 4 man, 2 truck move at a $310 hourly rate. I was told, after sending in my video, that the move would take 4.5-5.5 hours. The morning of the move, I got a call that one of the movers was not available and only 3 men and 2 trucks would be coming at an adjusted hour rate of $275. How they came up with this arbitrary figure, who knows. The three men got to my home within the agreed upon window, however, at almost no point did the men work together. They went to separate areas to work and took their time. I appreciate them wanting to wrap furniture, but Two Men should invest some time and money in training their "employees" about the most efficient means of doing so. I have hired full-service movers in the past who completed the entire move in less time than it took these people and the boxes were packed and staged for them! I talked to a supervisor during the move who assured me they would take care of it at the end- a lie. At the end, they booked me for almost $2600 and told me someone would be in touch. They didn't keep any of the next appointments to make the problems right. They broke an irreplaceable antique chest, a very expensive piece of china and some of my bakeware. !!!BEWARE!!!

They did a fantastic job of taking apart modular office desks, moving between rooms and reassembling them the way we wanted. When we changed our mind about the placement of two large desks, they immediately went to work disassembling and reassembling them to our liking. They made sure they were super careful with everything. The large filing cabinets and long desk that were moved to a very narrow storage-type room went in without a scratch! I am amazed at how smooth everything went and in such a short amount of time! I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck and will certainly use them again for my next move!

They got it done in less time than we'd estimated so I was thrilled! My king bed is really complicated and they did their best but I ended up having to call for more help. Omar filled in the details of the job to get us the right crew, and got us scheduled for the very next morning. Lorenzo and his team showed up early, communicated clearly, and holy wow did they work fast. In less than 90 minutes they moved what took our team 6 hours to do. AND they moved a fireproof safe by hand, with sheet strength and a good knowledge of physics. The cherry on top is the value - super-fair, plus a discount for booking through Yelp. I used 4 different companies because none of the first three were compelling enough to use again. I won't have to search for another one now though. I'll spare all the details, but they went above and beyond to make sure my move went smoothly and when things didn't (we had a lot of moving pieces with multiple stops) they made it right. The crew that actually did the move was respectful, clean and careful with our things. They weren't the cheapest, but they were competitive and worth every penny.

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.
