McKinney 2 men and a truck McKinney moved my home Feb 1st from McKinney to Frisco. The guys that moved were personable and friendly. There were connection issues with the iPad to sign all documents. It took an hour waiting on this. I'm patient. The lead mover called the supervisor to approve removing 1 hour for this issue. Supervisor agreed. I received a call from Josh saying I had an outstanding bill of 1 and 1/2 hours. This isn't great customer service. I would not recommend 2 men and a truck. read more

I booked with this moving company they quoted me a price and showed up late the day of my move The guy was so slow he walked around for 30 minutes asking what all was going like I would be leaving anything he acted as it it would cost extra to move this or that The finale straw was not only the attitude but they had started loading the truck with. I am so impressed with this company! We used them on two long distance moves. Every person we dealt with was knowledgeable, polite, kind, and accommodated all our needs. The 4 men that moved us ( O'Neill, Christopher Washington, Stephen and Welly) worked non stop. They were prompt, well mannered, and professional. As a teacher, it made me happy to see them helping each other and giving each other tips on how they like to wrap items. Everything went so smoothly- even unloading in the rain! Worst moving experience. We were quoted 6-8 hours and were fully prepared to pay the price due to my brother having cancer with chemotherapy. They arrived a little late but no big deal as long as they did a good job. However, they packed the biggest truck 3/4 full and left half the house. Let me be clear, I sold most of the furniture including entertainment center, dining suite, and an ice box. Thanks to their poor moving, my husband and I had to make 3 trailer loads after the fact, from a 3 small bedroom home, and also they unloaded anywhere in my new house which created more stress and work. We should have saved the $800 bucks and paid friends to help. We have family moving here and will choose a different company after contacting them with no compensation at all. I work in a salon environment and word of mouth goes a long way. Don't choose them, get a different company!!!!!! read more

Worst moving experience I have ever had and I have moved from coast to coast a couple of times. This move was only a 30 minute distance from one house to the next. First, two very young men arrived to do my move. They only needed to move the bottom level of a two story house to a one story house. We had already moved all boxes and smaller furniture pieces so the movers had a very easy job - sectional, office desk and chair, dinning room and kitchen tables (we moved all of the chairs), 1st floor bedroom furniture, a credenza, washer and dryer, and a futon. The move took these guys 6 hours. Driver got lost after assuring me he understood the Google maps directions he was sent. They only wrapped two items - a mattress and a credenza. They did not remove any legs from the tables ( chose to remove the front doors and interior doors the houses instead so the furniture could fit through. In doing so, they scrapped and caused other major damage to several furniture pieces. The move costs me over $1,300 (much more than anticipated) and the icing on the cake was that the mover charged my card twice for the job. I called the company immediately and spoke with Joshua Shibler, the Regional Operations Manager to voice my dissatisfaction. I found Mr. Shibler to not be very concerned about my concerns at all. In response to me telling him about my card being charged twice for the job, he responded, "it happens, we will provide a refund that you should get back in a couple of days." I would NEVER use this company again, and suggest you think twice if you are considering using them for your moving needs! read more

The movers refused to break down my child's crib and move it. Keep in mind I specifically told the front office team that I had a crib that needed to be moved. It was even included in the order form as an item to be moved. We were told they would not move it. They also left behind multiple items we specifically told them we needed moved. we had to go back and move all these items ourselves. I would not recommend them. read more

Didn't hear back until 6:00pm couldn't call because the offices were closed. One person was emailing me after hours telling me she was going to have them contact me. I am out of town for work. I mean how long should it really take two men to move-a dining table with 6 chairs, a living room set, and a bedroom set-onto their truck, drive it 2.1 miles and put it in my storage? Seems no one really knows, not even the people who work here. I'm done and so is what could've been a blossoming relationship. From the moment I called until the very professional young men left my house, I had a very great experience. The men had to pick up goods from two storage units. I was amazed that everything including kayaks and bicycles all fit on one truck. They were quick to do both load and unload, courteous, exhibited sense of humor, and were over all very kind. They put everything together as a part of the service including two very difficult pieces. They did everything that I asked, were efficient in moving the boxes and furniture into the house, and were tremendously helpful. I feel that I received great value for my money. The only reason I'm writing the review instead of her is because my friend is afraid of retaliation from this one particular mover; whom she said creepily hit on her and made her extremely uncomfortable to the point she was worried that he knew where she lived. My father n law moved into the house next to us 2 months ago. During the loading of the truck, one mover spent 70% of the time on his phone to some girl and then stopped the other two guys from time to time to show pics this girl had sent him. During the actual move they broke the glass in a china hutch. Father n law has been waiting for 2 months for this to get fixed. He has called both the McKinney office and corporate office with nothing but empty promises from this company. Looks like legal action will be the only recourse unless this is corrected within the next week! Carolyn, I appreciate the response regarding the refund but is not the primary issue here. My father n law is promised communication from your company and it doesn't happen. Contacting corporate was useless as well. When is the damage going to be corrected to his China hutch? The refund is nice but doesn't come close to what is needed for the repair. Pieces of the hutch are laid out all over his garage where your guys took it apart weeks ago! So as in my first review, when will this be addressed? If you don't want to fix the hutch that is fine. We will begin looking for a replacement and send you the bill to replace it. read more

I very rarely post reviews, but thought this could possibly save someone else some time and money. I chose Two Men and a Truck McKinney because they had pretty good reviews. After receiving a quote, I booked the move. The person I spoke with on the phone had quoted me 3-5 hours at $114/hr and a trip charge of $114. The time it would take and the price was right on track with what I've paid before with other moving companies. The day of the move two guys arrived right on time. I have no issues with the two movers. They were both professional, very nice and took great care with my things. One of the guys was new to the job. It was very obvious. My only issue with them was that they were very slow. It took 10 hours to move my belongings into a one bedroom, one bath, one living area, one car garage 733 sq ft apartment. 10 Hours?? Unbelievable!! They moved me from McKinney with a stop in Plano at my storage unit to North Dallas. That's it. 10 hours. I was shocked. The move in March which was an exact reverse from this move with basically the same amount of belongings, but with 3 movers and a different moving company, took less than 5 hours, so why did this take 10?? I called and spoke with a manager the next day to let him know how unhappy I was that it took so long for this move, and I received a run around from him with a promise to look into it and a call back. That was 4 days ago and I still have heard nothing. However, my credit card was billed almost $1100. My cousin used a different moving company when she moved from a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 living area, 2 car garage, with a backyard full of lawn furniture (3300 sq ft house) and it took 3 men 5.5 hours to move all her belongings. If you have the time and money to just throw away, then book this company. Otherwise, find a different one. I gave this 2 stars because the 2 guys that moved me were very nice and professional. When repairman (that is a furniture repairman, not an actual wood repairman) came out to meet me and said that he could not repair some of the larger, lighter scratches on my barely 3 year old wood floor, and that his results would vary, I backed off and thought about it before telling him to proceed. Reached out to Two Men to explain the cost of my flooring ($30k - $40k, at least, which I can prove) and asked the movers about their insurance and a better option to return the house to its previous condition as I list it out for for sale or rent. Their response? Take the repairman we gave you or we'll settle with you for $200-$450. "We don't trust or use any other repairmen." This is not OK. There was zero sympathy and zero reasoning. I like to level with people, so I asked if the manager thought that it was a fair offering if he were in my shoes as an individual. They attempted to call me late in AM 15 minutes before the appointment to show up at the storage, and they want me to move my appointment to the next day, and I refused b/c I felt some other customer was a priority over my appointment and the guy told the only time then would be at the afternoon the same day which around 2-3pm. I agreed and when the time came, There was no phone call or text of status or updates. I called the office and it was closed and a voicemail message was prompting to give me an emergency number of the manager, I called the manager and left a voicemail to give me the status and Nobody called and nobody followed up. What a worst experience and worst of all this is the MOST UNPROFESSIONALLY RAN BUSINESS AND I NEVER ENCOUNTERED such absolute disrespect to a customer!! Has to be the worst out there! Used two men and a truck to move all furnishings into a storage facility pending out of state move. While moving items out of storage a few months later we found significant damage to several items. I contacted this company and never received callback. I called the national company then received callback from McKinney manager. Was told they would not do anything about the damage because there was no way to prove they did it. It was in storage untouched but there's obviously no way I can prove that someone or something damaged items in a locked unit in a Public Storage building. So I guess I should have followed every item as it was removed from house and placed into storage? Additionally, the credit card I gave them was apparently stolen because a month after the move I had fraudulent charges causing me to cancel the card and have the credit card company investigate. In my opinion this is a terrible moving company. Would never recommend. read more

We scheduled a move from an apartment to a 2-story house. We had storage from our previous 2-story home plus the apartment to move to the new house. The woman who schedule us was super kind and informative. We received a call prior to arrival with an eta. Three men showed up. They were very nice and respectful. They walked the place with me and then began. The point person kept me informed along the way. I really like how they added padding to the front door and entry ways so as to not damage walls/floors. The team packed up everything in two hours!!! I was informed that they would take a 30min lunch before heading to the new house. Literally 30mins on the dot, I got the call stating they were on their way with an eta. Once at the new house, again a very efficient unloading. The team even volunteered to build pieces that were not built due to being in storage (an extra bed and a desk). Two Men and a Truck was probably our best experience with movers. VERY Disappointed. Scheduled an appointment for a quote. TMAT called back yesterday to reschedule for today at 2pm. I called the office at 2:30pm today asking for ETA since they were laite and was advised that they needed to reschedule again for later in the week. Was told the TMAT person had a family emergency which I understand happens sometimes, but why didn't the office call to reschedule?
