Before attempting this escape room, I've only experienced the relatively new form of entertainment that is the escape rooms once before at a large chain. I had a blast the first time and hearing that the owners are the one who make up the escape room puzzles, decided to take on the challenge. I am a fanatic with puzzles and games so the added layers of a time limit and a scenario made it all the more enticing. The place is relatively small and you don't know what you're going to encounter when you first go, but my siblings and I (4 of us total) had an AWESOME time. Once you enter the room you stop feeling the "smallness" of the venue. Their price point was around the same as the other escape room I went to, and it was definitely worth the small splurge for an hour of entertainment. Let me tell you, we ended up with a couple minutes to spare and I was stumped a few times. We did the CIA room and some of the puzzles were actually pretty high tech it was a pleasant surprise. If the experience was cheaper, I would totally make it a weekly habit. Escape rooms are so addicting!! While there are a number of escape rooms in South Florida, there are really only a couple of excellent rooms, with the others being somewhere between mediocre to bad. Lockbox Escape Room stands out as one of he excellent rooms. The puzzles are high quality; the room design and lobby are professionally-done; and the customer service is top-notch. There are a ton of puzzles in the second room (Timeline), and it's really well thought out. I went and tried this last night and had a blast surprisingly. I am usually more of a petting zoo type of guy, so I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it. I did though! And they had these great walls there. I wasn't expecting it to be so well-run but it really was. I felt like I was at Epcot or something. I learned a lot about my friends and myself thanks to this place. They also had the soda can size that I like. The 7.5 oz coke cans. I think 12 oz is too much. They did everything right here. read more

This place is so much fun! It is very clean and welcoming. The Escape Room was definitely a great challenge. The game master/ coordinator, Hugh, was super helpful and welcoming upon my arrival and during my visit. I would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for an escape room. So today we took a family trip for my Dad's birthday here and did the CIA mission one. Shaina gave us such a warm welcoming and was there to help when we needed it. You could tell that she was very experienced with all of the components and it made it that much more fun for us. The place had an amazing atheistic of black lights and cool lamps. So much fun! My sister and I ended up doing both rooms (CIA and Time Line) within one week. They're both fantastic. The puzzles are challenging, but very rewarding. The rooms are set up very well with great props and decorations, and someone is always available to point you in the right direction if you get stuck. We had the BEST time!! Darion was our guide and he was AWESOME!!!! We did the timeline room and it was SOOOOO cool. We really felt like we were taken back to the past. Darion gave us perfect small hints to help us with the puzzles. He even gave us more time so we were able to complete all of the puzzles (there were only 2 of us) he also took a picture of us at the end and sent it to us right away! We can't wait to go back and try the CIA room. Fingers crossed that Darion is our guide again! Great way to spend an hour or so. Gets people to rely on each other and THINK! That's something we don't do enough of these days... critically think! Great time and fun challenge. I think it's cool that they make you think to solve a puzzle. But it's not worth $30 to me at least. I loved the concept and had a good time. I think it's asking for a little bit too much to pay $30 for a game. That lasts only an hour and depending if you finish or not. Overall good experience. read more

We had a really great hour here and was able to escape within the hour! It was interesting as they give you "unlimited" clues. They said most people use 5-7. Great fun for a small family or group of friends. This game will challenge your mind and math skills. It was our first time going to an escape room and we played the C.I.A game with my two daughters and they pared us up with two other people. The timeline room was amazing! It was rather challenging with only three people and I'd say it was one of the more challenging rooms that I've done. I don't recommend doing this room with only two people. The puzzles were of high caliber and the actual room is super cool. The game master, Nicolas, was really great at working with you through the room if you need the clues. His creativity in designing the room was clever and very thought out. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good challenge! read more

OH MY GOSH Never had so much fun in an escape room, the 2 rooms are very hard and the staff is super nice and helpful, I wish they had more rooms because these guys are simply the best. at the first time we ran out of time but the guy there was so nice that he let us stay extra 10 minuted just to solve all the riddles, at the second time the same guy stayed an extra hour after closing for us, I wish I could remember the name to personally thank him for the great experience! you guys are the best. read more

Went with my wife, son and his girlfriend for our first experience at an escape room. It was super fun!! We did CIA Task Force and solved it with just under 2 minutes remaining of the 60 minutes using 4 clues from Laura. Laura was super nice and extremely helpful in our quest. We started out slowly until we learned the process and then picked up speed as we went along. We will definitely return and try the other rooms that Lockbox Escape Room has to offer. read more

When I was searching up escape rooms nearby lockbox had such high reviews, and it honestly deserves it. Our game master Laura was super helpful when we had trouble and explained the rules well. My friend and I went with a couple into the CIA room. The riddles and puzzles were difficult but fun. Patience is needed for escape rooms, I do recommend that you look at the different rooms and go to the ones that best fit you. People with younger children coming with them should go to the family recommended room. I'm definitely thinking about coming back. read more
