Previously I visited the location in the mall to get information about changing lock. Once my renovation was over I was able to contact locksmith Zee to get my locks changed quick as a key had been lost. He was very responsive and was able to get someone out to my place the next morning. The person who showed up however didn't have the right equipment and had to leave for over an hour. Absolute worst. They flat out didn't show up for a 1am scheduled re-key appointment that my business depended on. After I called and called with no response, I finally got a groggy call from the technician, Jake, an hour late at 2am saying that he "fell asleep". I can't believe this. I depended on these jokers for a business emergency and set up an appointment 4 days in advance, and they let me down. Also, don't be fooled by their so-called "24 hour service". I was only able to reach a messaging service after hours that was little or no help in reaching any human being. I ended up calling another locksmith and reached a technician immediately do the job these guys failed miserably at. Never use these guys. read more

I lost my permanently. There I was, stuck at someone else's house, with no car keys. I called Locks and Keys Inc. in Woburn and no one called me back right away. About a half hour later, I called again and they were very friendly and told me someone would be at MY HOUSE in an hour. The locksmith came, and 1 1/2 hours later, I had 2 working keys. One isn't a perfect fit, but it works, and he assured me if I have any problems, I can get a new one. Price wise, make sure you mention AAA, because I saved $100 with my AAA Plus. Their prices were VERY REASONABLE. The dealership told me I'd have to get the car towed there, it'd take 3 hours, and it'd be $200 more!!! If you get locked out, call Locks and Keys Inc. in Woburn. My car had a faulty ignition lock, which was a known issue for the model and should have been recalled. Today the key got stuck in the lock and the car could not be started or the key removed. I called AAA and they referred me to Locks & Keys in Woburn. Michael S. showed up and very quickly got my problem solved. He was professional, courteous, and nice about explaining what was going on. They provided an estimate before coming and did his best to fix my key problem without breaking the key or doing time-consuming or expensive drilling. I highly recommend him and his company. I'd give 5 stars, but they were a little slow (not a problem since I was at work and I did not insist they come faster). Looks like they need another guy, who I hope is as good as Michael. read more

I was looking to have 2 copies of a key for my business made. I called Locks & Keys, gave them the name of the lock manufacturer and asked if they could do the job at the mall store. The answer was 'yes' so I drove 15 miles to the store only to be told "Uh, no, we don't have that key in stock". Seriously? I called and you said yes. I have utilized Locks & Keys on many occasions over the years for lock changes, lock installations, and car key programming. I have even hired them to do work for the company I am employed with. I simply cannot say enough great stuff about this Locksmith! Their customer service over the phone and in-person is so professional. Every person I have spoken with there is always polite, friendly, and accomodating, right up to the owner himself. What I am even more impressed with is the commitment to the customer when it comes to setting a time for an appointment and being on time! The last rep that came to my house to do a lock change was super nice and on-time. He got the job done quickly and efficiently, and even went the extra mile to explain some things about my lock that I was not aware of and offered me some suggestions for future consideration. I have used Locks & keys for various services. Once to have keys made, another to get a new transponder for my car one time for a because I locked myself out. ( not my fault, i had pregnant lady brain!) All of these experiences were pleasant. Good service, good prices and friendly employees. A little bit of a wait when I was locked out but.that was kind of expected. All in all I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. read more

Went in with my boyfriend to have a key re-shelled as the transponder portion of the key had broken and was in pieces. We spoke with the guy in the store, who told us that we would have to wait for 'the guy that reshells' keys to get back. Apparently he was out on call but we were told he would be back shortly. The guy at the front took my boyfriends phone number down and told us that he would call when he was in the shop. We stuck around the Woburn mall browsing in stores to waste time until her returned. 2 hours later we still hadn't heard back so we returned to the store. The guy at the front told us that they tried calling but got no response. After checking his phone and seeing no missed calls, we double checked the number he had written down and realized he wrote it down incorrectly. The guy who reshells the keys was out again on a call, but we were assured again that he would be back soon and they would call the now corrected number when he came back. We waited another 45 minutes with no phone call. Headed back to the store where they told us they tried again but got no answer, and low and behold the guy that reshells the keys was out AGAIN! This time the guy at the front told us that we could go home and the guy will call us and come to us to fix the key. So we left, and never heard from them. The next day we decided to give them one more chance (I don't know why). We called, talked to someone in the store who said they would give the guy our number and he would call. Yup, you guessed it. No call. Not reliable at all! read more

I came home to find myself looked out. I panicked because I had a major presentation tomorrow and did not know what I was going to of because my computer was locked in my condo. I called many lock smiths, however no one was available immediately . I called RF locks and Ray the lock smith answered the phone and said he was completing a job and would be here immediately. 15 mins later, he was at my door. He explained to me that I had high security , interconnected locks on my front door, protected/ shielded by newly installed side guards. He systematically took the side guards and opened the door by using airbags. The airbags, without the side guards to block them , fit into the door and separated it from the frame in order to snap the latch open. He snapped the latch open with a flat head screw driver. The whole job , including coming out to me, took no more than 25 mins, with no damage to the frame, door or the lock. In addition to his speed, the other thing I really liked is that he is so reasonably priced and fair with me. I highly recommend this honest and fair lock smith to anyone who would need help. read more

I wanted information about getting a lock replaced in a filing cabinet. The person from Locks and Keys spent a long time on the phone with me, ultimately saying it would be more economical for me to buy a new filing cabinet than pay for his services. He essentially talked himself out of a job. Further, he suggested I get a used filing cabinet, as some of the used office supply stores have excellent products. He said often the older filing cabinets are better made than the new ones. I was impressed with his generosity with his time and knowledge, knowing he wasn't personally benefiting from this, although if I have a need for a locksmith, you can be sure these are the people I will call. Further, he had pulled over to return my call safely. A woman came out of her house and screamed at him for stopping in front of her house. Felt badly he was screamed at for doing the safe thing to provide excellent customer service. read more

Getting a reliable locksmith is no easy task and a little bit uncomfortable from the yellow pages or internet. After getting locked out of my house and having another locksmith come to my house and giving me a ridiculous quote to pick and then drill my locks (unwilling to start without payment up front), I called Locks and Keys. These guys were great. They showed up at my house very late and spent the time working on my lock while dealing with mosquitos and with very little light because of a power outage. They got me in my house and charged a very reasonable price without an increase for a tough lock to pick. Nick, the manager is reliable and has good experience. He also followed up with me timely for invoicing and for insurance. Very professional. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area and call these guys if you have any lock problems. I was not disappointed at would use them again and refer them to my friends. read more
