Adrian was amazing! The work that he completed was possibly the best customer service that I have ever received anywhere. ... I had a latch failure on an interior closet door (the doorknob stopped working and the door wouldn't open). I called to report my situation, and Adrian was literally at my door 10 minutes later. He then proceeded to fix a very complicated matter by cutting the doorknob off and replacing it with one from his truck that matched perfectly. Adrian was meticulous about his work -- and made sure to clean up and to leave no trace when he was finished -- and all along, he kept me informed about what he was doing. On top of all of that, he is professional, friendly, empathic, and a great communicator. My complex problem was completely fixed with one phone call, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The lock to my patio gate was getting harder and harder to operate so I gave LATC a call for service. I had them come out once a month or two ago and so asked for "Dan" to do my service. He arrived right on time and though the lock had to be replaced which also required re-keying of a couple of others, the job was quick, efficient and the price was acceptable. He also was able to copy a few keys for me as the last times I have had keys made at the hardware store none of them worked. I'll start with Dave is an absolute lifesaver. I traveled to Indio from the midwest with my 5th wheel in tow and somewhere along the way, realized I lost my keys and the spare were in my RV. Dave came out and helped me get into the camper and cut me extra keys. There was an issue with one of the locks and he resolved that for me as well. Great efficient service. Called on New Years Eve to try and find someone that could come out today, as we were leaving. Other companies were booked until next week. We needed a door lock fixed that was sticking badly, becoming very difficult to open. Adrien was able to show up early, which was awesome. He checked our current keys to determine if the lock or keys were the problem. He repinned the lock but after he finished we realized it would have been smarter to rekey all four of our locks (which he originally recommended). Adrien explained the pros and cons of different fixes. We decided to rekey and he was calm, checked with his office to be sure he had time and happily proceeded. Locks Around the Clock was very fair and professional. It was $80 trip charge + $15 per lock +$2 for extra keys cut. Others have lower trip charges, but the total bill was about the same as other quotes. He also did some maintenance to our locks, which we've never done before. Our locks and keys now all operate smoothly. I was mostly impressed that Adrien didn't get frustrated when we changed our mind after he did the original work we requested. It was New Years Eve and I'm sure he wanted to get home, too. But, he was kind enough to stay. Adrien was friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely recommend and call again, when needed. read more

My husband and I went out for a walk Labor Day morning and when we returned our deadbolt was jammed and the key didn't work so at 7:30 on a holiday morning I called and talked to Sean. He said that Dan would be arriving in 35 minutes but it was actually 30. As a retired Naval Officer I do appreciate promptness. Let me just say, I am extremely grateful to this company. I leave to work at 6 am, this company was the only one that I found that was open to come and unlock my garage (we have a detached garage). They were so quick that I ended up only being 20 minutes late to work instead of over an hour. The worker was quick to unlock the door and very easy to pay. It was probably $90 to open the door, but considering that they were the only option, I did not mind one bit! As much as I want to give this company 5 stars I just can't. Although they were very prompt, faster than most companies, and the service tech was nice and seemed to know what he was doing, the fact that there is a $70 "trip fee" was a bit startling. What's worse is that it was never mentioned on my initial call or when the tech showed up. It wasn't until I was presented the invoice that I was told. Any company I've hired that has this fee will put it towards work done but this company doesn't and didn't care when I called to ask about it. After the tech left I went back to where he had installed locks on our sliding doors (3) and there were metal shavings left on the carpets. Maybe this company could take that $70 trip fee and put it towards mini vacs that the techs can use to clean up after themselves. Needless to say I'll never use this company again. read more
