We had an old safe that was in our house when we bought it and needed to have it opened and re-programmed. I found the logo of the safe we had on the Safe Company's website, so I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Sean came out and spent more than an hour (he said it would take this time up front) and showed me how to open it because we had no idea! The price was fair at $395 for the travel time and servicing. Sean was able to tell me that our safe is not so safe - it isn't even fire proof. We will be going to their shop to look for a better safe that is fire proof and bolted down. I called the store and said can you send somebody out to put on a deadbolt and I want a lock on my sliding patio door and he was going to send somebody right out and I called him back and said no I'm going to take it off and see if it needs painted first, which it didn't. I called him back in about a half an hour, and he sent Michael out. He installed the deadbolt and made me four free keys, which I was very happy about. The patio door turned out to be a little bit of a headache. They said they're trickier to do sometimes, but when the part he had broke. He called because he had another job to go to and they sent out Dave, who had the part and finished installing the lock. I guess patio door locks because of handle shapes, can be tricky, but they did a great job and I'm very happy and they definitely were fair about the cost. I highly recommend them. read more
