He got us where we needed to be on time, kept things lively, and yet I never felt I was being rushed. I can't speak to the price because I wasn't involved but I heard he gave us quite a deal when it was all over. I wish we had the time and funds to do a longer tour, but I think this worked out perfectly and I had no complaints. Highly recommended.

Having stayed in parks from Seattle to here, I don't say that lightly. The beautiful oak trees provided a neverending stream of unique birds that were very amusing. The proximity to the gulf provided a great place to relax with a cool breeze. Scanning other parks close by showed us another beautiful place with a 450.00all inclusive rent. We are grandfathered in so our rent won't ever change. As a cancer patient I make several trips for treatment in Houston. There is a clinic close by. Highly recommend using this RV park, and the price was very reasonable, with full hook-ups. We will certainly be using this park on our future visits to Freeport.

The beautiful towering Live Oaks gives it a nature feel and the trees are maintained well. Close to beaches without that sandy feel. Close to town within/ 10 minutes, of show,shopping,and excellent restaurants. I even had my groceries delivered out here from HEB( so you know it's close to town). The AT&T coverage, is 5 bars. The Wifi is over the top and not the usual spotting reception that is usually at RV parks. It is maintained with sprayers , every few weeks for bugs, the grounds are maintained by professional movers, so it kept top notched. As previous owners of a RV park, i know what to tune into, and i will proudly give Live Oak RV park a 5 start rating.

The pool is awesome & you are literally just steps from the beach. Had a great time with the family! We had both houses & there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchens in both houses are furnished, have granite countertops & plenty of room. We ate most of our meals out on the deck overlooking the beach. The houses are surrounded by Palm Trees. There are BBQ grills, adirondack chairs, loungers & games for the kids. The big house even has an arcade video game that takes no quarters. New TV's, Direct TV, WiFi & nice furniture. Not your typical Beach House. It is even totally fenced in so we could corral the grandchildren. There was room for all of us to park inside the fenced in area & the guys even parked their boat underneath the house & we could lock the gates for added security. Both houses have outdoor private showers & foot washing stations & outdoor refrigerators so you don't have to go inside to get a beverage. It was great sitting at the swim up table under the umbrella & watching the kids swim. At first glance it seems pricey but when you average out the price it is very affordable. I can't say enough about this place. This is our FAVORITE new vacation spot! We can't wait to go back! :)

Oyster creek lies on the other side of the levee. Where it is well maintained and perfect for fishing or just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. I was delighted to find out about the covered spots. What a relief from the Texas heat, and to be able to comfortably sit outside during a nice rain storm. I'm lucky enough to work at the beach, which is a very short yet beautiful drive down levee rd. The owner Rodney can be seen riding through the park checking on various things and visiting with the guests. You can tell he really cares about the park and I'm so thankful that he shares his small slice of heaven with myself and others. Green acres is the place to be, trailer living is the life for me.
