They are located in the Fiddler's Creek Plaza by Publix and tucked in between Encore Nail Spa and Pakmail. I grabbed some breakfast for the kids already but wanted to get a pastry for myself so I checked out the spot. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. I saw an almond pastry that looked like an almond version of a Kouign Amann. I asked what the pastry was and they said it was an almond croissant. Cool shape for an almond croissant. Got that and a Nutella Crepe for the kids too, they love crepes! * Almond Croissant $4.29 * Nutella Crepe with strawberries & bananas $12.99 Cute cafe with interior seating and a few outdoor seating as well. They also sell local honey, jewelry, rocks and small gift items. The menu offers smoothies, arepas, quesadillas, crepes and bigger food items. The prices seem a bit high for some of the menu items. My almond croissant and Nutella Crepe were priced fairly. I thought the prices for arepas, quesadillas and mega bowls were quite high ranging from $12.99 up to $18.99, pending on protein option selected, I think they offered other items too but I was only scoping out the crepe options. They have savory crepes too. I sat and waited for my order. Once it was ready, they walked it over to me and thanked me for coming in. Again, very friendly staff. The almond croissant was a bit dense for my liking and had lots of almond paste, but still good. I just love my pastries light and flaky in general. Can you make an espresso on some phone on top she said absolutely who trains these people? i've been going to this place for years and the prices are nearly doubled and I can honestly say I don't think anybody's ever really smiled when I've been here. I can't say the service is bad and I can't say the service is unfriendly, but I can say without a doubt they are not warm there. There was the time when I love this place and paid the premium to come here, but today is the straw that broke the camels back. Also, the café has a new policy where you can't order and sit inside. You have to use a waitress for everything now so if you want a quick transaction. This is not the place.

When you walk in the pastries and desserts are behind the glass. Dining area towards the left, then the host will greet you and walk you to a table. Our friends had the vegetarian cold spring rolls which were also good. For entrées, my friend had the duck with rice, and I had the coc au vin. The chicken was so tender, and the red wine sauce was deep and paired great with the other ingredients. There was enough for a couple people to share. They have a decent wine selection, better than some high-end restaurants actually. They also have beer and cocktails. I liked my plate... did not love it; the Tripe was nice a crunchy, but as a whole, the tacos were dry (They also only use one tortilla/taco... authentic?... lol!) They needed sauce... unless they intend for the customer to use the sauces provided for the nachos on tacos as well?... maybe (which I did to a certain extend). I had never seen a "Molcajete" dish... cool presentation. Did no care for the nopales (cactus), but everything else in the dish is pretty great. The place is decorated in a seemingly "culturally appropriate" way :) and there is a bakery section right at the entrance. I'd definitely swing by next time I am in the area!

She helped me order my food, and she told me a little bit about the place. The food is very affordable and authentic. They make their tortillas from scratch, and they make them fresh for each order. They also have a bakery case where they have all different kinds of fresh baked Mexican bread for sale. Sometimes going into a place that is off the beaten path is really worth it. I havent mentioned the food yet, it was wonderful! I was very pleasantly surprised. Bonita Bakery definitely just found themselves a regular customer! Can't wait to come back!

Those words also describe the Food. From the counter greeter "Gale" who always remembers your name even when you might have only come in once before... to the unique and awesome soups, sandwiches and assortments of palette pleasing dishes.
