They told me how long I'd have to wait, and it was correct, which was great. The technician arrived in a clean truck, introduced himself and went to work quickly. I was really scared he was going to harm the door or window seals since my vehicle is young but he was really careful and explained what he was doing as he worked. A few minutes later the door was unlocked, and there wasn't a mark on it anywhere. He also tested the electronic locks and alarm system to make sure they were working before leaving. No surprises later that were problematic, like pricing. That was what I was quoted over the phone. Loved how calm and professional the whole encounter felt. Stuck in a parking lot is stressful enough, and having someone arrive up with a positive attitude and true experience made a great difference. I would use them again for roadside assistance or towing service, for sure.

The mere fact that he wasn't rude and could hold a conversation with such a calm demeanor is a huge plus, you don't come across individuals like him too often. Once we managed to get the vehicle on the truck, the driver unloaded the inoperable car in a one-lane driveway that prevented the collision company from operating as usual. Collision company called Porta to have them move the car to continue operating their business as normal and Porta refused and spat expletives over the phone. Have heard that the collision and insurance companies terminated their partnership with this company. FIND ANOTHER TOW SERVICE.

Needless to say, I had the vehicle towed to a more reputable repair shop. Ever since Bill retired and left his business to his inept son, the shop is a joke. Even the woman that I spoke with stated that she doesn't understand how the York Auto Body stays in business. Run as far away from this horrible business.
