I tried clothes on and asked if they could keep them at the counter while I continued to look, the girl working at the register didn't even make eye contact with me, she just said ok, with an upset face. Hmmm while I continued looking for clothing for an upcoming vacation, a gentleman that works there offered if he could put clothes in a dressing room for me, he was he only helpful person there. In the end I found lots of great clothes for my vacation however, I feel the need to write this review because the only reason I feel I was treated differently was because of the color of my skin. I find it weird because I'm Hispanic and it looked like everyone working there that was ignoring me is Hispanic too. Next time I will rethink going there. Perhaps some customer service training needs to be revisited.

I was getting so frustrated cause I was looking for this dress in my size and it was like the 3rd Gap I went too. Not only did the lovely sales lady notice my frustration, she took all the clothes out of my hands and got me a dressing room. She then told me to start trying on and she would look for the dress so I wouldn't end up having a stroke in the store. Smart girl. Fast forward 4 minutes later...VOILA! Dress in hand. Easy as pie. She was cute and talkative, but not creepy talkative, like trying to get me to buy stuff. Oh and the new 1969 jeans are in and they are TO DIE FOR! Fit like a glove... I left with my dress, two new pairs of jeans and a new found love for the Gap on Lovers Lane.

Lots of unique hair clips, chunky jewelry and handmade Etsy-esque items. I caught and released a Free People mini-dress and a Diane von Furstenberg wrap. Surprisingly, there was a unhoused gentleman having some kind of altercation with himself just outside the store as I was leaving. He said that could be it, but that shoe makers are starting to come up with their own sizing (like vanity sizes in women's clothing). I enjoy shopping at Hot Topic as they always have a wide variety of band tshirts and so much more. Once I picked out the tshirts I wanted I went to pay. There was a wait but it wasn't too long and the cashier was friendly. Overall Hot Topic is one of my favorite places to shop for a variety of things. The store is clean with cool merchandise and the people that work there are friendly.
