However, 15 minutes later, I was still waiting outside sitting next to some man who was chain smoking. After seeing how they treat their customers and what the the current clientele is like, I can't say I'm shocked that they are going out of business.

We noticed a few other people in the store were also waiting to be helped. One of the associates came over to help their customer get an analysis of their feet, but never acknowledged us or let us know that they would help us after helping their current customer. After over 30 minutes of standing near the analysis equipment and not getting any recognition or assistance we left. In that entire time they only helped the customers they were with when we first entered the store. We ended up going to Columbus Running Company and had a wonderful experience! In one of the pics I saw a little beehive Christmas ornament so thought I would go check it out (my mom is bee anything crazy). I wasn't sure where the GPS was taking me but once I saw the beatiful mural on the side, I knew where I was heading. Really friendly staff and some really cute gifts here. I was promptly greeted when I came in and was offered some coffee or water. I had to pass as it was a quick stop but I really liked the vide here. The shop had a bit of everything including clothing, candles, jewelry, and all sorts of gifts including some gorgeous drinking glasses. Definitely worth browsing just to check it all out. Overall, it looked like the general price point is on the higher end but nothing too outrageous for a boutique shop. I did find the ornament I saw in the picture but I know my mom already has the same one, or one that could pass off as its twin anyway. I also love that you can make returns to Nordstrom here since this location is super close to me. Having said that the return policy could still be better as once the limited time passes you can't return at all which can be tough. The other thing I think could use some tweaking is the set up with the sunglasses. Many of them have security tags on them which you have to be super careful with not to scratch the glasses with, and the mirrors above them are distorted like a fun house. It's very strange. I ended up having someone remove the tags to try on and walk to a different part of the store to look in a mirror which the staff was fine with and perfectly understanding about but it did create more work for them. Not sure what the solution is, and I will continue to buy sunglasses here due to the price despite the hassle but it would be better if there wasn't one.

I took them to the store and they said I could not return them because they had been worn. I said "but they are defective" and salesperson said they were not defective when I bought them....9 days earlier. She said they would not return them because they are worn. Not that it matters to you Nordstrom rack but you just lost a customer. What horrible service selling goods and then not standing behind them 9 days later.
