Delicious dinner of very hot, 'almost famous' French onion soup , N/A beer Bud zero they also had AMI jukebox so I could DJ.. our bartender and server was a 9/11 first responder who is in New York City for two weeks. Amazing; so grateful for his service!! there's a bar area, a dining area and outdoor dining available with a TV in the bar pool table, video games, and darts. If I ever find myself again in Speculator, New York; I will return.

What I should have been charged vs what I was charged. Menu prices vs charged prices brings a simple lunch to $75.

BUYER BEWARE!!! See the menu price? Well don't expect to pay that ... the bill comes with it costing $1 more. Little Logan advertised as $13.95 ... check comes at $14.95. Soup du Jour is $5.95 but I'm charged $6.95. Mozzarella sticks advertised for $8.95 ... the bill comes in at $10.95. Never again!! $75 for 3 lunches?? Unbelievable for mediocre food and terrible service. Despite 4 months of communication (or lack thereof) with the restaurant asking why our lunch was $75, I received a copy of our bill which explains why it was so high. EVERYTHING was more than what the menu price.

Good little spot in Speculator. Hometown feel, bar on one side of the half wall, restaurant on the other. The kids love this place. Service was good

Came here on Saturday night. There was only one super friendly guy working and he was great! They had a meatloaf special that my brother loved and devoured. I really enjoyed the french onion soup. The caesar salad was okay but that's okay. We were visiting the town for the weekend and this really was the only restaurant in town.

Cloudy day, paddle break, and Logan's on my mind. Darn good Cookin' here. Atmosphere warm and friendly Tavern.

Sorry no pics of the food, but take my word for it, I enjoyed the best Cuba Sandwich ever. There must have been a whole pork shoulder in there - ok exaggeration. Despite I felt like Johnny the 8th eating this fresh pulled pork, ham, gooey Swiss cheese, dill pickle, and mustard. "Take me now oh great one, but please let me finish my Corona & Lime." Logan's came highly recommended by locals and it was indeed the place; fun dining room, pool table room, and quaint bar space.

After hiking a challenging Adirondack Mountain my wife and I wanted to reward our selves with a hearty celebratory meal. On the edge of hangry we stopped at Logan's Bar and Grill in Speculator. As we entered Logan's we were greeted by the manger. He was very personable, welcoming and recommend we sit at the bar because it's a great place to meet and chat with people. We politely asked for a table in the dining area since all we could think about was food and a beer! Our server was pleasant. Took our order and checked on us for drink refills. We started off with a house salad with in-house made balsamic vinaigrette and a French Onion Soup. The soup was fantastic! Not overly salty, perfect amount of onion, croutons and that cheese pull was awesome! I had a cooked to order 1/2 pound Swiss burger with bacon and fries. It was nice to take a break from the Smash burgers that are the sensation right now (don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a double patty smash burger!!). My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. The sauce was home made and tasted great. The eggplant had great texture. We were a bit in awe that this bar and grill served this dish so well. They had a nice selection of New York and national beers as well. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious our meal was. I would totally recommend Logan's Bar and Grill if you are in the area or just passing by to and from your next ADK destination.

Having visited Silver Fork in Manchester on a number of occasions over the years, I finally…read morerealized I've never written a review. Well, now is the time. We re-visited the restaurant recently for our 40th wedding anniversary, and I think it's only fitting to offer a view on what is best described as a bastion of excellence and gracious dining in Manchester village, Vermont. Situated in a refurbished former library building, the Silver Fork's setting, decor, and dining experience is indeed textbook flawless. Inside the upscale eatery evokes mid-century Moderne, a setting for the once popular Madmen TV period drama series; tony, chic, but hardly ostentatious and overbearing. On the contrary the high ceilings, lighting and space combine to offer that frozen glimpse of earlier elegance but alongside very contemporary culinary offerings. Table spacing accentuates a good use of space. We started with a "Rubies are Forever" Pomegranate cocktail with Pomegranate boba. The menu is large but not overbearing; a good mix of meats, legumes and fish. Equally the starters are enticing. French Onion soup is amazing but on this occasion we both chose the Duck egg roll with a special peanut sauce. Simply extraordinary and with generous duck portions. For an entree, my wife chose Mahi Mahi Fish, beautifully prepared over plantain. Despite being tempted by a brisket with horseradish sauce, the evening special, I chose the Ratatouille. Why? Prepared properly, this is often hard to find. The Chef's presentation of the southern French staple, was beautifully interpreted, accompanied with some goat cheese. We accompanied our meal with a glasses of red wine. For desert we shared the incomparable Caribbean Bread Pudding which is always a hit here. Allow to me to say our server Lynn showed a genuine experience both in the menu and wine list along with a pleasant disposition. We equally had the opportunity to chat with Melody the co-owner who, along with her husband Chef Mark, described their culinary Odyssey before coming to Vermont years ago to establish Silver Fork. Silver Fork presents a genuine chef-prepared culinary experience both in terms of cuisine as well as ambiance and flawless service. We'll be back!

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

The fare is pretty standard but it is unusually well-prepared for a short order place, and the staff could not be friendlier, even under an incredible crush of customers. The place does have outdoor picnic tables - the inside is a little dim due to lack of windows, if whimsical in the decor, which is mostly jokey signs of the 'unattended children will be given espresso and a free puppy' - well, kitten - variety. Just be forewarned the place does get super busy during the summer season, but it is still there in the other three seasons, unlike a number of other places, particularly in sparsely-inhabited Hamilton County. The place is much improved since our last visit, and one suspects there's been a change of management, so nota bene concerning earlier reviews.
