Was looking to pick up some dinner for a work meeting nearby and came upon this little (not so little) gem. Loved that I could order online AND customize my pizzas and make various requests. It was super convenient and my order was ready when the online order said it would be. Walked in and the place is pretty big...good place for large pizza parties and to watch games at. They have a big screen projector as well as TV's all over the place, and it's pretty spacious. Even have video games for the kiddos to enjoy whilst the adults enjoy their time together. I didn't get a chance to see what alcohol was provided, but it looks like everyone was having a good time when I came in to pick up my order, so I'm going to assume it's pretty good. Pizzas were awesome. Had 3 XL's (12 slices) - a standard pep/mushroom, the bbq chicken, and the special...I forgot what it was called, but they were really good. The lasagna was pretty darn good...a tad smaller than I expected, but if there is a bigger version, i missed it. Salads are pretty large, could've gotten away with just 1 for the 8 people I was ordering for. Parking - Strip mall-ish parking, so one does not struggle to find a space. I've been to Michael Angelo's Pizza before, but never during their lunch hours, so I was excited to check out the lunch specials. When I got to the counter, I saw the lunch special menu and ordered two individual pizza slices. I chose the pastrami pizza, which came with mustard and pickles. The concept sounded great, but unfortunately, the pizza was a disappointment. The pastrami tasted unpleasant, and the pickles were soggy. The only positive thing I can say is that the crust was good. I only ate one slice and ended up giving the rest away. The bigger issue was that I thought I was ordering two regular pizza slices, but instead I received what looked more like two personal-sized pizza slices. After receiving my order, I politely asked about it because I thought there may have been a mistake. The employee helping me, Sally, seemed upset by my question and responded in a rude manner. I've never experienced customer service like that here before. I explained that the lunch menu appeared to advertise two individual slices, but she told me they no longer serve them that way because it caused too much waste. I understood that explanation, but then she went on to say that she had actually given me a deal because the personal pizzas cost more. She pointed to the menu board to justify it, but that missed the point. I wasn't trying to get a better deal, I simply wanted what I believed I had ordered from the lunch menu. Just a heads-up: if you order the lunch special expecting individual pizza slices like you'd get at Costco or Sam's Club, that's not what you'll receive. Instead, you'll get personal sized pizza portions. I also paid cash because the restaurant advertises a cash discount, but the savings were minimal around 20 cents. The restaurant does have plenty of space for parties and group events. However, if you're planning to watch a fight or a game there, be aware that the TV is fairly small, which may matter to some customers. I overlooked the B because I remember the pizza being really good. The pizza is still straight, no changes there. You'll get a really good pizza, however the review isn't about the pizza. This review is based on what seems like how they are now cutting corners here. I paid for a large and got what felt like a slightly larger medium. That's not a large from what was offered before and what I had. It seems like they took the medium and cut it into 10 slices and that really sucks. I get that costs are high with Inflation etc, however at the same time, the consumer is also spending their hard earned money and if they're paying for a large pizza and instead getting a medium then that's an issue because now you are just cutting corners at this point and it's not fair for the consumer. And I'm not going to argue and cause confrontation, I'm just going to let the community know what is what's going on here. The fried chicken use to be bigger too and slightly better quality. Again, it feels like they're cutting corners with these skimpy pieces. And then when you see table signs that are riddled with food stains, along with tables that aren't frequently wiped down and the backs of chairs feeling sticky, and then look back outside and see the B grade on the door, you start to ask yourself some questions, and this is what we started doing. To top it off we were pandered to at the table by street vendors. I kid you not, two street vendors came in and were soliciting strawberries, nuts, and other assortment of food items. And here's the kicker: they actually sold them in the restaurant. Some old man walked out with two boxes of strawberries with a smile on his face. Like what's going on here now? I don't know but I think might have to move on from this place until they get things figured out here. That's too bad too, because this was one of my favorite hometown pizza spots when I lived out here. read more

Your middle of the road pizza place where nearby families go and local little league teams host their team parties. I tried some cheese pizza that was ordered by someone else. We were here with friends and didn't really feel like pizza. I ordered zucchini, calamari, and a large salad for my own family. The calamari and zucchini were pretty good and came quickly, piping hot. Cocktail sauce and ranch were pretty good. Definitely a passing grade for a small mom and pop pizza spot. Pizza was good enough when it came out hot. As it got cold, as most average pizzas do, taste really fell off. The large salad was also a good size. Ingredients like pepperoncinis and olives were generous... decent amount of protein (chicken) though it was like some precooked possibly prepackaged grilled chicken with no color on it. Freshly cooked chicken would be a massive and simple upgrade. Size/quality value was pretty good though, and again, I liked the ranch. Games kept the kids occupied for a bit. Lots of screens around the perimeter for watching the game. Pretty clean, just a little dated and dark inside. If you compare to a locally beloved place like Graziano's I'd say this place is comparable. Pizza I couldn't tell you which is better. Sides like the salad and calamari are a better value here, but Grazi's has some better options in the potatoes and their calzones. I think the ceiling on a place like this is 4 stars. They get a 3.5. Better protein in the salads? Cheese that doesn't turn into bland plastic when it isn't piping hot out of the oven? Brighten up the interior a little? If you're wanting that little league pizza party nostalgia when it comes to food and vibe, this place doesn't disappoint. read more

The pizza was okay, nothing special, but the dining area was honestly disgusting. The floors were filthy and it didn't feel clean at all. It's hard to enjoy your food in that kind of environment. We ordered a salad and it was brought out with no extra plates, which was frustrating, and the dressing was super oily. Just had the most RUDE encounter with the "manager" Sally. I walked in today to try and order a small pizza and a michelada. She asked for my ID, then continued to say it was fake!? I'm absolutely baffled, have never had this happen to me. Would love to speak with someone who actually runs this place. I feel as if I was discriminated by how I look and she just didn't want to sell me beer. She said she took some training course to identify real/fake IDS. I was on my way home, and my wife asked me to bring home some pizza for the kids. I had always seen this place, but never stopped him before well. Today was that day. To have a great pizza, the bread must be on point and I must say this was very good. Although I must admit, don't sleep on the Chinese chicken salad with sesame dressing. The guy at the register answered the phone, said please hold, and set the phone down on the counter. He never came back. Just to find out how long they would keep me waiting, I drove down there with my phone on the whole time, and waited in line to get help. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 1215 with a party of 20 or more which I made a reservation for. I was able to call ahead and make the reservation and it worked out pretty well as the place was not crowded at all. THE PIZZA: really good! Got a ham and pineapple and a supreme with half pep and blk olives. The crust is crisp on bottom and just fluffy enough LOADED with toppings. We shared 2 large with 9 people and had leftovers. You really don't need anymore than 2 slices plus we had wings to boot THE WINGS were really good and crispy and the sauces were decent. THE SERVICE: very nice! Got smiles and courteous servers and food runners. ARCADE AREA : good for little kids and the air hockey table is good for the older ones too. My daughter enjoyed playing it 2 times. The carpet is sticky and a bit gross in that area though. CONS: the place could use a bit of TLC. It's clean don't get me wrong but it's a tad grimey in the corners and there's not a lot of attention to detail going on. (See photos. ) it was STUFFY and the air seemed to be going on and off not consistently cool. We may return as it's good for large groups. The seven years we have lived here in Ontario, we just can't stop going to them for pizza and wings no matter what. I love that you enter the establishment it's like you are entering some time portal. We love seeing sports playing on the TVs, kids having fun at the tables and in the arcade, and it's nothing like order a pitcher of beer for your table to set the night. Our to-go pizza spot! This place hasn't failed so far and has been pretty dang consistent with their food and service! My husband would get the usual sausage pizza with extra cheese and I usually opt for their chicken or pepperoni with mushrooms. And on occasion we would get their wings, love their mild as I'm not a huge sauce gal, I'd much rather go with the dry rub, so I get this to-go I'd put whatever ribs I have at home and comes out great! The sauces just makes the wings not as crispy as I'd like but everyone is different. Pricing of food is pretty fair as well! Ambiance of this spot, think of this place as your sports bar haha. Very homey and chill. You can tell that this place gets a lot of regulars on the daily which then shows how reliable this place is! The pizza tasted fresh and hot. The pepperoni had a bit of crisp and complimented the ooey gooey cheese and fluffy crust well. If you're a sports lover this is a great hole in the wall to watch a game! They have plenty of tvs and play multiple games to watch. It's also really cool because they have tons of signed athlete posters and a variety of basketball, football, and baseball items. This might be a great place to get a to go order but not to dine in. There are to many other dine in spots you can get a more enjoyable meal in a pleasant setting. We have been to 7 other dine in facilities since Covid and were not made to feel this uncomfortable by the staff. The pizza was good. Not great. No soda refills although they have a drink station which I understand is part of Covid regulations other restaurants we have been in even though drink stations may have been closed they offered refills for you. With the huge dining room they were completely practicing social distancing to the extreme. Considering they had been closed and lost business it didn't appear they were too happy to have customers back. They really need to go look at some of the other restaurants in neighboring cities to see how they're doing it and making guest feel welcomed. This spot was one of my favorite pizza locations growing up. It still looks similar just some changes here in there, Pop Warner and local high school photos still decorate the walls. I phoned ahead and my order wasn't ready but they had waiting area. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to observe the outdoor seating that located acoustic the front of the building. Michael Angelo's had outside sound and the televisions situated for viewing of the NFL game. The pizza. It's crust was toasted yet soft. He cheese was plentiful and melted to perfection.
