A few years ago my husband made a comment that he was craving some caramel apples. I found Sinfully Sweet in Upland and we decided to try them out. Every year now, we stop in during Christmas time for their Holiday decorated apples. This year we also came in during Halloween for apples. Fast forward to present day, we've tried other caramel apple shops (well known places/storefronts, and even homemade businesses. We've had apples that were $10+ and some that were $5). Caramel Apples are not made equally; some are really hard to eat and some don't even taste good. My husband and I have come to the conclusion that Sinfully Sweet uses the right amount of caramel and the quality of chocolate and ingredients they use are totally worth the price (while others were not). My hubby and I will continue our tradition of getting our apples here as long as they are open for businesses. :) read more

Wow...so good! I came to try this place out for the first time on Easter. I'm that person that hates soft, overly ripe apples. The green apples that they used were perfect. I called in to order for a same day pick up and they had my order ready when I got there. You can walk-in to order but I would recommend to look online and place your order ahead of time for any specialty or holiday candy apples. They also have other chocolate dipped goodies. Location- Sinfully Sweet Apple Company is located in Downtown Upland. Nice little hidden shop. Price- The apples range in price from $5.50 - $7.25 depending on the apple. Certain seasonal and fundraiser candy apples cost more. Candy Apples- I got the Almond Delight, New York Cheesecake, and Strawberry Shortcake and they were all a hit. A few years ago, one of my ex-coworker was doing a fundraiser for her daughter with Sinfully Sweet Apple Company. I ordered a few to support her daughter and a few weeks later when the treats arrived, I noticed that the sticker indicated that Sinfully Sweet Apple Company was in UPLAND! Wow a hidden gem in my hometown! Sinfully Sweet Apple Company is located in the heart of Downtown Upland, south of the gazebo. In addition to the delicious dipped apples, they also have chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate dipped bacon, chocolate dipped strawberries and even taffy. Apple Prices: - Apples without Chocolate ($5.35) - Apples with Caramel, Chocolate ($6.35) - Apples with Caramel, Chocolate & Nuts ($7) On the day of my visit, there were 16 different apples to choose from. After much thought, I ended up with the Twix Apple ($6.35). I asked for my apple to be sliced up and I enjoyed it slowly throughout the rest of the day. I would love to get some of these apples for gifting, but the packaging when you buy it in the store is a styrofoam box with the stick puncturing through the top. The packaging for the fundraising version is much nicer with a clear box and the top made with an opening for the stick. Overall I liked it but I can't say I loved it. Seriously appreciate how easy it is to still be able to satisfy my family's sweet tooth with our long-time favorite candy apples! We decided to go for the mini apples so we can have our old favorites as well as try some new flavors we haven't seen before. There are sooo many different and interesting apples available on their website. The owner is as sweet as her treats and so very accommodating! I ordered online yesterday afternoon and she was able to make them for me to pick up from her 11th street location this morning! I order 20 Halloween apples for a soccer fundraiser and 5 of the apples were not the Halloween candy apples. They were birthday apples. When I called to switch the birthday apples for the correct Halloween design apples, they said that sometimes they run out of the certain theme and they have to change the apple design. Like what? I was never a fan of candied apples until I tried Sinfully Sweet Apple Company. I got to purchase their Halloween New York Cheesecake candied apple and liked it a lot. The candied apple was their classic New York Cheese Cake dressed for Halloween and topped with a colorful candy skull. I really liked the presentation. Coated with "cheesecake" and with white chocolate coating and sprinkles of candy, I was very impressed. The apple was fresh and juicy and the coating was sweet and delicious. I remember my coworker was selling carmel chocolate covered apples last year around halloween/thanksgiving for her son's baseball team. I've been following this place around for over 5 years since they moved location 3 times and the apples have always been consistently delicious!! Their apples are always fresh, delicious and juicy! They never skimp out on the toppings and their sweet apple presentation is above and beyond. The employees are always friendly and helpful and their selection is amazing. No one can compare to their quality of apples to any other store. They are simply the best! I love their Dark Chocolate Almond the best, but they have such a wide selection that they are all so good. I always buy them as gifts and everyone loves them. I try and visit other caramel apples store while on vacation, but I always say "my sweet apple store near me is way better than this!". Sinfully Sweet Apple Company is closed this week. I wanted to call them to file a complaint, and will instead write a bad review. I ordered 30 apples through a Fund Raiser (Oakridge Highschool Cheerleaders, El Dorado Hills, CA). When the apples arrived at the Chairperson of the fundraiser of Oakridge H.S. I was informed that some of the apple orders did not make travel well. I can only attest to the orders I received. The apples were not individually packaged (bubble wrap) and therefore, the Carmel on the apples was smeared off apples. The apples with the confetti and/or candy decals came off and apples with nuts were all over inside the boxes. If these would have packaged and labeled (or in individual boxes) the apples would have made it to their destinations. I don't know if the Chairperson for the fundraiser filed a complaint with Sinfully Sweet. These were to be given as gifts for Xmas and was embarrassed to deliver them. I will not recommend using Sinfully Sweet as a fundraiser and will not purchase apples from this company in the store. Feel Free to email me if you wish; Snuggybug20@gmail.com. Apple a day, keeps the doctor away. Not the case for me. Going to see my eye doc down the street is how I accidentally wandered into this place and got my apple for the day. The display cases are very pleasing to the eye, and they have a huge variety of tempting flavors. The one that caught my eye was Habanero Mango--deliciously sweet, savory, and a bit caliente! I also bought two campfire ones that were covered in chocolate and had a massive toasted marshmallow for my niece/nephew. Customer service was great. The young man behind the counter even cut my apple for me into bite size pieces. Lots more flavors I'd like to try. I will definitely be a return customer. read more

Sinfully Sweet Apple Company is a small business with an even smaller staff, and they work hard to try and provide quality products for EVERYONE!!! I had to write this review in response to a poor review brought to my attention, by a Yelper, Gloria N. She was commenting on how Taylor, an employee here, was off putting when she tried to make an order. I have been a very frequent customer here and Taylor as well as all the employees have always been exceptional at trying to accommodate every customer. Gloria's review upset me with how she blasted him for what sounds like a genuine concern to providing to, not just ONE, but all the customers that come through their doors! I am sure there is another side to Gloria's story, but it sounds as if she called during a busy time, and did not want to wait the appropriate suggested time for her order. She then was going to just send her husband to pick a large quantity of apples from their storefront which would therefore cause a backup making it harder for these hard workers to fill other orders and help other customers. It then seems as if Taylor did his best, took her order and got it to her the next day, showing his concern and effort to help Gloria out. It is disgusting how some people are so intent on immediate service as if they are the only deserving customer, and then must exclaim to the world how distraught they are, even after getting what they ask for. This toxic content is unneeded and only hurts undeserving companies and their employees! Taylor is an excellent worker and has been one of the reasons I return regularly, aside from the DELICIOUS apples! It would be sad to see him go and I hope one bad comment is not the reason for it! read more

These are the best caramel apples I've ever had. The caramel and chocolate layers are not too thick so what you are getting is mostly apple but with enough luscious caramel and chocolate, toffee, nuts, etc to satisfy your sweet tooth and fill you up.
