This restaurant is a hit or miss. Food and service is not consistent. We ate there in August 2014 great food and service. We ate there October and just had a cheeseburger with onion rings. Burger was hard and dry and the onion rings were mushy, under cooked. I thought that $22 for the burgers and rings with water was a little high. I eat at Logan's in other towns and like their food. If you eat at the one in Dalton you are rolling the dice. read more

The food was mediocre. The restaurant is very dirty and smells bad. The foyer is very dirty and smells bad. The bathrooms were extremely filthy. The service time was reasonably. My prior visit at this Dalton location was over 3 years ago. The service was so out of hand, I promised I would never return. Yet, I we were recently given a $50.00 gift card, so here we go. I read reviews on line. That was not a good place to start - nothing good there. So, the day of reckoning had arrived. I called from home before leaving. I told the receptionist that I had a bad previous experience at this location. I asked if the service was any better at this time. She said that it was okay some times. Not very reassuring! I went to this Dalton location that evening around 6:15 PM. It was not too busy. We were received and seated as soon as we entered the door. Menus were distributed and drink order was taken. I jokingly asked my waitress if she was the best waitress in the house this evening. She hesitated and said that she probably was not. Our order was taken, The food (Full Rack Baby Back Ribs, The Logan Steak and a Potato soup) was delivered in a timely manner and it was delicious. My waitress must have had chores in another part of the restaurant. She was scares, yet the other waiters and waitress were right on time for us. My wife, my son and myself had a very pleasant evening. Thank all of you at Logan's Roadhouse this evening 12-17-2019, George P.S. This was an okay experience, but it was NOT worth the price that we paid for it. We were a party of three and this review is more about the food and less about the service which was fine. I ordered the mesquite grilled salmon with the 3 cheese mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. First parts of my salmon were slightly underdone for my liking. The other thing that was weird was they put lemon pepper on the salmon (which I like) but it was not advertised that way. The mashed potatoes were bland and tasteless even with the gravy. They also were like chalk in the mouth and were dry and powdery. The mac and cheese was certainly NOT a 3 cheese macaroni and cheese. At best it was cooked noodles with a bagged/canned cheese sauce put on top that had been warmed up. Another diner had broccoli and said that the broccoli had no taste. The potato skins that we had for an appetizer were not good. They were bland, and the cheese had already congealed by the time it got to our table. The two steaks that we ordered were cooked to perfection and that is what got them 2 stars instead of one. read more

I went to Logan's for the first time on Saturday night. Their was a "45" minute wait for 2 people and I seen her list only had 2 parties of 3 and another one of 4 she didn't want to sit us in the two people booths . So I asked her if we could just sit at the bar without drinking she said yes but we have to stay their we can't move. I didn't want to argue with this child. As I proceed to sit at the bar . Cory brought out our drinks asked us if we wanted rolls after he took our order. We waited and waited for over 45 minutes our food finally arrived cold, and never did we get the rolls after I asked to speak to the manager Jennifer she said she'd reheat the food or recook it I honestly just wanted to leave I lost my appetite . She reheated my food and recooked his which looked way better . And we finally got rolls after 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting . She said she'd give us a discount on our food and dessert . She only applied the dessert she didn't apply the discount . Top it off Cory swiped my boyfriends card for someone else's ticket . I honestly don't think I'd ever go back. read more

I like Logan's. Usually i stick with the tried and true. But I thought I'd try something different today. I ordered the Grill chicken sandwich. Yeah. Well, it was the worst grilled chicken sandwich I have ever had. The chicken was .....weird....is the only word I can come up with. It was tough in a way that suggested that they kept pressing it flat..over and over...therefore making it tough and...dry. The bread...wasn't really even toasted...even though it was supposed to be. Decided to give Logan's a shot after having a few bad experiences at another steakhouse here in Dalton. Got to admit I am not a fan of the peanut scraps on the floor... and the lighting should be dimmed to make it more romantic... But when it comes to the food...well... it's a home run all the way... First of all my Martini was just perfect and my wife's wine was excellent... so right there... they were winning points... then the bread came out... piping hot, once again very good. My wife had the salmon and veggies... she is normally hard to please, but in short... she was very impressed... nice size, great flavor and cooked properly. I ordered the Prime Rib, but was told they were out... so I opted for a Rib Eye... man was it off the chain good... very tender, spiced just right and the baked potato was fresh and in a word "killer". Overall a very good evening out with the wife. We will indeed be back. read more

This place has very very slow and inconsistent service. Plus I have an allergy to dairy and told the waitress that from the get go but she gave me a salad dressing that she only later told me had romano cheese in it. I got hives all over my back, shoulders, and forehead. I tried it again today because I found out they have a dairy-free menu. We arrived at noon and did not get our food until 12:56 which we then had to take to go to get back to the office. And the salad dressing that was on the dairy free menu was the same one I had gotten before with cheese in it! Check your facts Logan's Roadhouse. 13 mins for an appetizer. Really more like the server forgot seeing as the manager brought them out to us with no explanation as to why. The server had no personality and it took her 8 mins to even come and say the initial hello. The food was great now just get your serving staff up to par. read more
