Never again! Tonight was the third and last time I let this place ruin my dinner. Placed a simple order of a salad, prime rib, and rice. Restaurant not busy at all. After a 20 min wait, I ask about my salad. Staff disappeared. Some time later here comes the prime rib, COLD! Just as I discovered this, they finally sat my salad down? I come to Florence often for business and usually stay in the hotel right across the parking lot. To have a steak house this close to your hotel usually is a blessing. Trust me, you're better off going anywhere else. There are way better options less than a 5 min drive away. So disappointed! read more

The rolls and salad were good. The hamburger steak had the gravy, onions and mushrooms on it which I ordered it without. The hamburger steak did not have a good flavor at all. Potato was cold and it took a very long time to get our order. read more

Their A/C must be struggling today, because it is burning up in here. Georgia Sun Tea was the highlight of my meal. The filet was OK, cooked to the right temperature but not quite "right" for some reason. Grilled southwest shrimp appetizer was great. We got to the restaurant at 6pm when it wasn't very busy and didn't get food until 7:20pm. The food was lukewarm, steaks were burnt, and our waitress did not check on us once within the amount of time we were waiting so our cups were empty. We were offered bread once while everyone else around us got better service. When the waitress did finally go around to our table, she asked how our ticket was and dashed off before we could say anything else. read more

The Logan's restaurant in Florence needs to go out of business - period. About 3 months ago we were out with another couple for dinner at what would have been in the past a pretty good restaurant. When our meals came I could not recognize the ribeye steak that I ordered and still could not tell you what cut it was. The waitress was new and did not know how to handle it so took the steak back. I had said that I would eat it but wanted to pay the right price. The manager comes out of the back and starts arguing with me and picking and poking at the steak with his hands. I was not going to have that arguement and told him just to take it off the bill. He sarcastically responded "great" and stormed off. Fast forward to tonight and giving a second chance where our previous experience might have been just a bad day. It was not, similar problems with cuts of beef, improperly cooked beef, ice cold "premium" fries, undercooked regular fries - too disappointed to even complain. I guess it is clear why the parking lot was empty while Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn were full. Save your dining out dollars and go to McDonalds - you will get better food read more

I've eaten here 3 times. Most of their food is just average, but their ribs are top notch! The atmosphere is great, and you can throw your peanut shells on the floor. The bar staff was nice and friendly when I was there too. read more

Gone downhill. We keep giving it chances and it keeps letting us down. It took nearly 45 minutes to get our (lukewarm) food and the people behind us that came in 10 to 15 minutes after us got theirs at the same time. We came in before the Sunday rush too. Since reopening after COVID, Logan's had half the amount of seating. I was greeted promptly and had our order taken quickly. You have to ask for peanuts and we were given an extra bag to take home! Our meals, everyone was delicious! I hate to see so much bad reviews. To each their own, you can't please everyone. Went there for my 60th birthday as a treat. They weren't even busy and it took over an hour to get my meal. I was very specific that I wanted my steak (9oz. filet) well cooked but was served a bloody rare steak that was tough. Friendly hovering service. Food was decent and prices reasonable. Good enough if you are walking and don't know the city.

We planned our outing then checked reviews when issues began to surface. We should have checked them in advance and then gone elsewhere. Summer, our waitress, was the highlight of the evening. Everything else was sketchy. The service was slower than slow, even though the crowd was minimal. One of two steaks was way over cooked and obvious dried out. The other was ok but the veggies were cold. Waiting forever for your food then having it arrive subpar is NOT a good combination. read more

Walked in on a Friday evening and they only had a 15 minute wait, that's the best part of the whole experience. Our party was for 3 adults. 2 of us ordered Groupie beverages (alcoholic drinks), and they were slow to come out. We had to ask for rolls after about 10 minutes, and probably took 7 more before they came to the table (our appetizer came out before we received the rolls). Server stated that she was newer and complained about bad tippers that evening. We waited 45 minutes AT LEAST before we received our main course. Chicken was tough, steak ordered medium and came out well, but the salmon was done correctly. Being as we had waited so long for food, no one wanted to request the corrections. We were seated in a back section with kids who were allowed to wander, children from 2 seperate tables. Not happy at all with our evening and I can't say that I would recommend them to anyone. Horrible. Only thing worse than our dinner was the service. Took way too long to get our meal which was terribly cooked and greasy. Our waitress was not friendly, had to ask for refills once we could get he attention of another waitress because ours was no where to be found. Restaurant was dirty, old food all over the floors under tables. Just all around bad! We are very fond of Logan's and visit locations in Kentucky frequently but will NEVER waste our money again at the Florence location... our home town! Sad. read more

I went recently with family and was served on FILTHY dishes. The wait staff was excellent but I couldn't consume food from forks that were so filthy they were stuck together. The plates were also jaw droppingly unclean. I just can't go back and we used to love it. I don't know what's happened to this location. Anniston is still very well run. read more

One star because I can't give zero stars. This Logans is disgusting. While waiting forever for our food, everyone at our table witnessed a mouse running in and out of the kitchen. The entire staff made no effort to acknowledge it. We personally had to tell our waitress that we saw it and would be leaving. Looking back in glad it took so long to get out food that way I didn't have to eat there. I will never return. read more

Best filet I've had this week. I've eaten at 3 different steak houses this week and ordered the same meal just to do a comparison and found Logan's to be the winner. Went to logans last week and ordered the lemon herb chicken. only half of the chicken was edible. The other piece was like hard rubber ,could hardly cut it and disgusting to try and eat. I told the waiter how bad it was and she said she had been hearing that from other people too about the grilled chicken. She said that they were getting the chicken from a different distributer. I believe that because it used to be alot better chicken . Please change back to the better chicken because that lemon herb chicken is delicious when you get good chicken . read more

Excellent service. I have the Logan's steak with loaded potato and a Caesar salad. Steak was cooked perfect to my taste. The potato was delicious. My only thought was the Caesar salad had a little to much dressing. Cain and Falon was my server's, and they were great! read more

Here's a tip to Karl s. Who wrote that terrible review of Logan's Roadhouse. You are a waiters worst nightmare!!! Your review of this restaurant is irrational to put it nicely. It is a waiters job to sell the menu and make recommendations so stop bashing a waiter for doing their job. As a Chef I've been involved in several restaurant launches and the opening of a new restaurant, franchise or independent, are extremely challenging. The training of the front (wait staff) and back (kitchen staff) of the house is the most crucial and painstaking process and for the first couple of months a new restaurant will go through this adjustment process that unfortunately some customers will be unhappy with. My advise to these unhappy customers is give Logan's Roadhouse a chance to make it right. read more

All around great place to eat. Food quality is good to great. If you want a grilled prime rib, it cannot be had in Florence because after 5 attempts on 5 visits (no, I'm not kidding), they couldn't seem to understand what 'grilled' meant. Otherwise, their meals are good food and can't quite resist popping open some peanuts while waiting. Wait staff friendly and food is promptly prepared. read more
