COME HERE FOR COVID! So I truly hate to do this because Logan's has been one of my fav places for quite some time, BUT... I just moved to the area and have gotten delivery (via 3rd party) from here 4 times. Something in the order was missing 3 out of 4 of those times. That's not why I'm writing this review; just additional information. I'm writing this review because tonight I went inside to pick up my order. (I'd actually ordered a side item as a little surprise for my boyfriend because they'd missed it from our order last night and he'd been disappointed.) I'd ordered ahead, and while I'm not comfortable dining out due to COVID-19, I did feel safe enough with a quick in/out to grab a bag of food (with my mask on, of course). I later found out they are offering curbside if you pull up to the door, but there's no signage or advertising for this so I had no idea. I stood inside waiting for my food for about 15 minutes. Half the employees had their mask on their chin, including the hosts greeting people and the person handling the To Go orders. It's loud in there, so they have to get pretty close & project in order to be heard. While I waited, I saw the person in the To Go area touch their face, mouth, nose, etc. in between handling everyone's food. I saw one employee had a mask on, and then *pulled it down* to speak with a customer. I understand that people are unfortunately choosing to not wear masks in their personal lives. That's out of my control and I can't tell anyone how to live their life. However, I naively thought that businesses and establishments out there would care a little more about their customers and keeping them safe while we're in the biggest spike of COVID-19 cases yet. Anyway, they do have a mask on the big metal cow just inside the door, so there's that. read more

I had lunch around 11:30 and sat at the bar. Courtney was wonderful! She gave me honest opinions about the food I had questions about and she ended up getting me to try the crab cakes which I LOVED! I also ordered a 6 oz sirloin. Honestly, I had to question her about what steak I ordered because it tasted and had the texture of a filet. I ordered it medium rare and it was PERFECT. Highly recommend going to see Courtney! And if you're ordering a steak, make sure Wes is on the grill! read more

Came to Logan's for the first time with my extended family. Upon entering, the hostess were very welcoming and seated us immediately. The first thing I noticed was all the peanuts on the floor. There are buckets of peanuts all over the restaurant and as you eat them, you can throw them on the floor when you are done. Our server was friendly, quick and attentive. We started off with the Appetizer Combo. It comes with Buffalo Hot Wings, Loaded Potato Skins & Cheese Sticks. They weren't overly salty, which I greatly appreciate and the sauces on the side tasted homemade. They offer complimentary Yeast Rolls at the beginning of your meal, which are incredibly addicting. So soft, warm, chewy and buttery. The ranch dressing for their salads also tasted homemade. Yum. The side items were good and simple. Steaks aren't the best out there but not bad for the price. Did have to use A.1. Steak Sauce to give the steak a bit of a flavor boost. Their sangria is awesome and very dangerous. You can barely taste the alcohol but you will surely feel it later on. if I could choose zero stars I would. We got there a little after 630, got sat a little before 7 (that's fine) ordered our food at 7:10 and left at 8:15 still not having gotten our food. the servers just stood there waiting for food at the window. we didn't see our server a lot. had to keep asking for bread, because it had been an HOUR! Seriously save your time, and just go to Texas Roadhouse or LongHorn Steakhouse. I'm sure their service would be a thousand times better read more

Waited 7-10 minutes before the hostess even greeted us. Another 5 to be seated. Food took over 30 minutes to come to us and my husband's steak was served still mooing it was so rare. Disgusting. Would have taken less time to go to the store, get all the ingredients, and make the damn food at home myself. Never again. I refuse. We were excited because the parking lot wasn't full compared to Texas roadhouse in Hendersonville and the longhorns across the street. Now we know why. Will never make this mistake again. read more

We've lived in the area for awhile and finally decided to visit Logan's. Worst mistake, we should have known something was wrong when there were hardly any cars in the parking lot and the Cracker Barrel next door was packed. I ran down a list of things I was thinking about to our waitress and asked for her honest opinion. Each item I mentioned she said she wouldn't recommend. "The ribs were dry and tasteless, the fish was too fishy, the steak was a little tough and not cooked right"... I settled on a French dip since I figured you couldn't mess that up. Except they did... our fries were cold, old and hard and the Auj jus dip was so salty it actually burned my tastebuds. I ate a few bites and gave up. So disappointed and will probably never return. I will say the waitress was very friendly though and tried to help us best she could. Wow. That's all i can say. Steaks overcooked. Service mediocre at best. We sat at bar. Bartender takes drink order. Wife ordered mixed drink and she ask " do you want ice". Um. Doesn't it come with ice?? Apparently not. Ordered steaks. 1 med and 1 med rare. Both came out well done. No one ever asked how food was. Drinks empty. No one ask if we wanted anything else. Funny thing is locals sitting next to us. Got their steaks. Manager comes over and mentions them by name and has them cut steak to see if cooked properly. I guess special treatment if they know you. Went for 35th anniversary and won't be back. Service wasn't bad but food was bad. Ordered the surf and turf to split along with an order of potato skins. For a steak house the steak was awful. Not even sure what kind of meat it was as it was supposed to be cooked medium rare and though it seemed that way it was flavorless and mushy. Had to drown it in steak sauce to get any kind of flavor. Guess that's why the waitress pushed the steak sauce asking us several times if we were sure we didn't want any. Crab cakes were ok but don't expect to find much crab in them. Made up primarily of filler product. Shrimp wasn't too bad. Wife did like the broccoli and my baked potato was ok but again it seemed like it might have been an older potato and had a mushy part to it. Again service was ok, just the food was awful. If it was the other way around might give it another chance as service can be dependent simply on whether the person is having a bad day. But when the food is bad, kind of defeats the purpose of eating out. read more

Stopped in to get one of the early specials. I chose the chopped steak covered with mushrooms and gravy. After I was seated, I had a few rounds of salted peanuts ; then out came some hot rolls and butter. I know we should not eat too much bread in our diets, but I wound up eating two of those rolls! Could not believe how tasty the steak and mushrooms were. Did not even have to add a little salt! Two sides were broccoli and corn. Was surprised to see the broccoli arrive so picture perfect. It was a bright green on the outside and very white on the inside. Amazing flavor, too. The waitress said it is steamed. I ate most of everything and took home the last third of my steak. Before I try anything else, I will choose this again on my next visit - which will be very soon. read more

We went to the Athens, Al Logans today and were extremely disappointed. My medium rare steak was cold inside, very rare, and full of fat and gristle. I could not eat it but offered it to my husband who has ordered a rare steak but did not receive any steak at all. He did not want to even try it either. It looked disgusting. Apparently the order for this steak was not given to the cook. We ended up with 2 sides for your lunch and being refunded for the 2 steaks but will not be going back to this restaurant. I was the number one grill cook from 1st week of July until the time I left as the KM week before Halloween! The games that the GM and her husband played with me and my team was just too much to deal with!! I walked because I would not let them play with my mental health or my freedom any longer! I made promises to guests and also my team that I couldn't keep, all because the "leader" wanted to drown everyone! The Logan's way is lost in the head management and those involved will fall because they only care about their "power"....not about their guests or their TEAM!! Placed a to go order for 2 Anything and Everything salads. Wasn't given a time to pick up, so I said, 20-30 minutes? Person on other end said correct. I show up 30 minutes later, walk into restaurant, customer at to go counter with arms folded, I said this doesn't look to myself. Boy, how right could I have been!! Stood there for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged! Gave server my name and she came a few minutes later saying, it's going to be another 10 minutes! Spoke with manager, she said that on the line there is an order for tickets, I totally understand the process, but they weren't that busy and seriously you can't cook to chicken breasts in 30 minutes in a commercial kitchen!!?? Major inconsistencies here. We went up to Gallatin to have a fun day on the lake and stopped for lunch at Logan's. We were seated quickly and had a very friendly waitress. However, the timeliness and quality of the food was all over the place. We were hungry after being out on the water, so we ordered an appetizer of their chili nachos. It took them over 20 minutes to bring out our appetizer, and the nachos were honestly pitiful. They were not particularly hot, had negligible melted cheese, and the chili was bland (plus had baked beans which I didn't think went well with the nachos). An absolute shame for $10. I ordered the peppercorn chicken/bacon sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was pretty decent, I liked the peppercorn sauce and I had it with ranch. However, my fries were slightly stale and not hot. Then for dessert we shared a brownie which was actually pretty fantastic. However, I wish all of the food was at the same level as the brownie and sandwich, I wasn't happy with the major inconsistency. If I can get tastier/fresher food from Steak & Shake I think it's time to re-think the kitchen. read more

Went to have dinner last night . The appetizer mushrooms were great . Then the chicken salad was not seasoned as described and my steak was under cooked . The food was sent back and the chicken came out under cooked (raw) and the steak was medium rare and well done and medium . The manager took care of the bill and we won't be back . Took entirely too long to be acknowledged and seated, forever to get our order in and even longer to get our cold and over cooked steaks. My filet was so roughly cut and fatty that half was well done and the other half rare. My husbands steak looked like it had done half it's cooking under the heat lamps. The manager did little if anything to correct the orders- my husbands recooked steak came out even more over cooked than before. The server was so overwhelmed it would take 10-15 minutes between any check-ins or refills, prolonging the torture of the terrible food. They forgot an add-on to the steaks also but didn't forget to charge us for it all the same. It's painfully obvious how short staffed they are and appalling at the money and time, almost 2 hours start to finish, just wasted for this experience. We were all very pleased with our meals, but the service was top-notch! Our server didn't take our glasses away for refills, she just brought us new ones! In fact, I had a "back-up drink" for most of the meal. For me, that's important. She also had a wonderful disposition and a great smile. When we asked her about a particular burger on the menu, she said it was delicious and that it was one of the most popular menu items they have. We tried it and it was excellent! (Fried cheese and bacon burger) it actually includes a lightly breaded party of cheese (cheddar I think) that is fried before it's put on the burger.be careful, it's hot! Like many places in the south, Logan's serves what can only be categorized as a free appetizer. In this case, amazing buttery dinner rolls and a bucket full of peanuts in the shell. The shells, by the way, are expected to end up on the floor, so enjoy and eat them like a Viking! My very proper wife enjoyed this casual setting greatly...so much so that she was a little embarrassed at the mess she'd made with the peanut shells! She asked the server for a broom so she could clean up the shells and she just laughed and said something to the effect of "Oh honey, that's what you're supposed to do with them! The night crew will get that! Don't you worry about it!" Anyway, for an awesome casual dining experience, give this place a try. We arrived at Logan's Roadhouse at 4:30pm. It took ten minutes to be seated, not because there was a crowd, but because no one came to the hostess table. After being seated, we finally had to ask for a waiter at 5pm. We placed our entire drink and meal order because we have a one year old and a three year old. We didn't want them to have to sit any longer than necessary. At 5:30pm we received our side salads and rolls. At 6 pm, an HOUR after ordering, our waiter informed us that they no longer make a kids grilled cheese (which is on the menu). I'm sorry but 1) it took an hour to come to this conclusion?? And 2) you don't have two pieces of bread and a slice of cheese??? So we ask if our order is ready otherwise, and it is not. We asked for the check for drinks and our salads and left. This is the third bad experience we have had at Logan's. On our way out, several tables told us they'd also been waiting over an hour for orders. Let me be clear, this was not a weather or staffing issue. There were nearly more employees than customers. A steak takes maybe 10 minutes, the green beans are straight out of a can. I cannot figure out why this is an issue at a steakhouse. It is so unfortunate because we try to keep our money in Gallatin, but truly, spare yourself and head to Texas Roadhouse in Hendersonville. Texas toast was just plain white (thin sliced) bread. Club sandwich was bare, not enough meats to cover the bread and was cut in fours which made it more of a snack. French fries were tasty but ice cold and too hard. Portion size on steak was small but tasted good. read more

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this Logan's. Located in Gallatin TN it at one time was well worth the wait and the money. But I ordered to go from here and was appalled by the "steak". I ordered a 16oz T bone. What I got seemed more like a t bone from Waffle House. Very thin and not a full steak. The sides were served in disposable paper cups, not containers. My family and myself a party of 8 and a baby went to Logan's in Gallatin Tennessee at 6:50pm was told the wait would be 35 minutes will that turned into 20 minutes then went to oh sorry They accidentally seated another party at our table to give them 10 minutes and they would get us a table we waited 10 minutes and went back in and asked for the manager and the hostess said he was at the grill and couldn't talk to me and couldn't tell us when we would actually get seated said they would texts us when they had tables and by this time it was 8:30pm. We ended up leaving and went to McDonald's to get food so the kids could go to bed for school. Thank you for the poor service nope no thank you cause we got no service cause of the bad service. BB. There are never enough staff and you wait 30+ minutes for a table when there are only 4-6 tables sat in the entire restaurant. Why you wait 15 min to place a food order and your server never comes back to see if everything is good. The serve. Is. Horrible. And management won't bother to fix it. Order take out but otherwise avoid this place like the plague unless you want to pay good money for bad service. Our third time with the same experience. Three strikes you're out. My husband and I went here tonight. we used to love this restaurant but tonight convinced me it's not worth going again. We were seated quickly and waitress came over promptly. She took our drink order and meal order. We waited a long time for dinner. Got main order, no drinks or salad. We had to ask for our drink order, wasn't our waitress that brought our food. Told her we never got our salads or drinks. She brought our drinks and I told her not to bring the salads at this point. We watched three different tables (same waitress for those tables). complain to the manager. No manager ever approached us. Charged us full price even though we did not get salads. No one ever acknowledged the mistake. Waitress eventually came back to the table and asked if everything was ok. She smirked when she asked that. Guess we will be going elsewhere from now on. I want to start this review out by saying that I literally NEVER leave reviews. On my way to the restaurant I got on yelp to see the reviews since it'a been forever that I've eaten at Logan's. I was scared to eat there after reading some of them. I am on here to tell you that from the moment I stepped in I was pleasantly surprised. I was created immediately and sat down right away. The waitress was probably one of the best I've had in a long time in sumner county. I ordered the salad that has everything on it and loved it! My family loved their food too. The place looked clean and felt comfortable. I recommend Logan's especially on a Sunday afternoon :) read more
