Drive-thru BBQ? Are you kidding me? This seems to only happen in the South and I'm not complaining! It was great! Everything tasted delicious and we came back 2 more times before our vacation ended. My little toddler was obsessed with their tenders. We liked the brisket sandwich, it was so flavorful, (just a little bit more tender or melty in my mouth and it would have been a 5 star). I'd still get it again though! Customer service was phenomenal. They forgot to give me my banana pudding the first time, but the second time we came back, they didn't hesitate to give it to me. Lots of parking outside! I didn't get to go inside, so I'm not sure what the ambience is like. read more

The only reason im giving a star is because the lady at the counter was kind and informative. Although i wish she would have informed me on the foods poor quality. I got the rib plate. The ribs had Zero flavor almost unseasoned and the sauces were extremely underwhelming. Mac n cheese was sloppy and tasted microwaved. Ambiance was okay. Would not recommend. read more

Service was phenomenal. Heaven at the counter was very friendly and offered great insight on the menu. That being said, I should have asked about the brisket... or should I say tire rubber. Never have I ever experienced brisket so dry and hard. They say no muff too tough, but I finally met my match. 1 extra star because the cashier was so kind. Got a pulled pork sandwich meal to eat in my car outside the restuarant. Meat has no sauce in it, tastes bland, bun is incredibly soggy, and the fries were also soggy and tasted gross. I tossed 90% of it and went nextdoor to Arby's They should really grill the buns so it prevents the meats juices from destroying the bread and I dont know how they ruined french fries. read more

Easily the worst BBQ I've ever had. Dry and tough meat, unseasoned fries and chicken strips my kids wouldn't even eat. Chili was directly from a can. The cornbread was a floppy pancake?! Disgusting. I really hate that we wasted calories and money on this garbage. read more

I can't say enough about this business. They have a wonderful menu with wonderful food. They are friendly and they take the time for us new comers not familiar to give their opinions. They have not been wrong yet. Visitor from MT we have been there 4 times. I only wish we had one in Butte, MT. We will visit them a few times before going home. Amount of food is great. read more

I was quite disappointed with their food. The pulled pork was "ok" and the brisket dry, Most of the sides were "meh" with none of them being particularly good. The cornbread was dry and my wife couldn't even finish it. Dude.. the large potato is an normal size baker x3. Just an FYI. I have one with everything and brisket which is SO tender. A little on the fatty side in spots though. My husband had the ribs which he was not a fan of. Although they were tender and not dried out they were unbelievably Smokey. We are originally from KC so we are picky about our BBQ but when my husband says they have too much smoke, they definitely have too much smoke! We did a drive thru for those items but recently ate in and they are so friendly, bring the food to you and clear your table. Very nice service staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our first visit and helping pick out or order. The food was good and the service was amazingly fast! Limited sauce choices. Wasn't a huge fan of the choices. The meat however was great and was the kind that would taste good without. Excellent variety of sides to choose from. Fried pickles were awesome, I hate pickles and I even ate them. Fun and clean environment!! I would recommend to friends and great for families. read more

Bar-B-Cutie is like that comfy old sweatshirt you keep in your closet--you wouldn't choose it for a big night, but it's certainly comfortable and makes you feel good. I come from the Mississippi Delta where people really know their barbecue, so my standards of *good* barbecue might be a tad skewed. We visit Bar-B-Cutie about once every two or three weeks and get the same thing nearly every time. I go with the pork sandwich combo with the fried pickles for the side. Their pork is respectable and holds its own against other local drive-thru barbecue joints (like Whitt's, Stroud's and Buck's). For the longest time, they only offered two sauces (regular and hot), but our last visit produced a Carolina sauce that was pretty damn good. I've also sampled the brisket off of my partner's plate, and while I'm not really a brisket guy, it does have a pretty good taste. The food here is good, but it definitely skews towards the mass-produced barbecue type, which (to me) doesn't carry as much flavor as really good smoked barbecue. On this, I give Bar-B-Cutie a pass, since they are both close and consistent--definitely a plus for an area where decent barbecue is few and far between. read more

There are a lot of Bar-B-Cutie locations around town. However this is the best one I've ever eaten at. I get their chicken BBQ sandwich combo with fries for about $8.50. It's lean and good quality meat with excellent sauce. You wait a little while for your meal to be made for you. That's why the fries are always very fresh. Excellent brewed iced tea. Desserts are pretty good but they are charging a bit too much for their banana pudding. It's not worth it. read more

Place is in a strip mall. Very unassuming place. Had the pulled pork sandwich. Very moist & flavorful. Mac n cheese was good but nothing special. Had the white beans as recommended by yelpers and they were fantastic! (Thanx for that yelp fellow yelpers. )Pecan pie was tasty, above average. Rest of my group was happy with their choices. My son had the ribs, and had the dry rubbed, he really liked it. I swiped a bit for my self. Had a flavorful, moist taste, almost fall off the bone. Service was pleasant & good. Some one else in my group had bbq beans, I sampled and those had a nice tang & were cooked just right. Plenty of sauce at the table all with different flavors, sweet , hot mild, I had the Carolina. Although Im from the midwest, Ive discovered that several years ago I prefer the mustardy, vinegary tang of the Carolina. This one is decent. One more thing, the cornbread comes pancake style, my kids were in great curiosity over this,but I told them its a deep south thing . Had a bit of that and the cornbread was good too!! I got the 2 meat plate. Brisket and smoked chicken breast. Tje brisket was completely dried out. I had order the side to be potato salad and turnip greens. I got turnip greens and backed beans and no bread. I had to go back twice. That's ridiculous for an $18.00 plate. Especially when the sides are out of a container er or can. read more

As far as chain BBQ places go, I'd rate Bar-B-Cutie as my second favorite behind Jim-n-Nicks. The food is pretty decent even through the drive thorough. I particularly like getting my BBQ on the corn cake thing, because the sauce seeps in and makes the cake awesome. I find their brisket is better than their pork, which seems to often be the case in places where BBQ may site for a few days at a time. If you want quick BBQ, they aren't a bad choice. read more

Stopped here tonight had the "smoked" turkey on there corn bread (in place of a bun) just seemed like "roast turkey" no smoke flavor that I was looking for very dry and not what I expected the sauce seemed good the corn bread. Served like a pancake also seemed on the dry side. Husband & I are in town for a few days & were craving some good, smoky bbq brisket. Checked Yelp & found Bar-B-Cutie. Decided to give it a try. A delightful smell of smoky bbq goodness hit us as we got out of the car! We felt like we made a great choice for dinner based on that heavenly aroma. Hubs ordered a pulled pork plate with cinnamon apples & mashed potatoes w/gravy. He tried the sweet & Carolina sauces and liked them both. The potatoes were very salty, but overall he was satisfied. I ordered the beef brisket with Mac & cheese, & the white beans. This beef brisket had no flavor, no moisture, & no smoky flavor. It was dry, stringy & so disappointing! Even dousing it with sauce couldn't make it palatable. I ended up taking it home to our dog. On the plus side, the Mac & cheese was very creamy, & the white beans were excellent. We both liked the toasted bbq bread that came with our meals. read more
