This was awful. We are from Georgia and the closest Logan's to us was closed down. So we were happy to see one while on vacation. We should have stayed away. My mom got the center cut sirloin with loaded mashed potatoes and salad. The mashed potatoes were cold, the steak was dry, and the salad had no tomatoes. I ordered the Logan and the 1st one was burnt beyond eating. Sent it back and the last one came out medium rare. I ordered well done. The sides were the same as above and same thing was wrong. We also order the mozzarella sticks and they were cold in the middle and dry. We advised management but the only thing they did was remove my dinner no other compensation. I want to start this review out by saying that I literally NEVER leave reviews. On my way to the restaurant I got on yelp to see the reviews since it'a been forever that I've eaten at Logan's. I was scared to eat there after reading some of them. I am on here to tell you that from the moment I stepped in I was pleasantly surprised. I was created immediately and sat down right away. The waitress was probably one of the best I've had in a long time in sumner county. I ordered the salad that has everything on it and loved it! My family loved their food too. Was excited to try the food, chicken tenders with the three sauces of choice- none of the sauces were included in my order. 3-10-21, 8pm. Arriving at our table, #1 the waitress complained that there were 3 of us stating she was told there were only two. #2, While waiting, we requested peanuts twice. Peanuts never came. #3, We had two sets of silverware, asked for a 3rd. Silverware never came. I ate with my daughter's salad fork and shared the knife. #4, My daughter ordered a sirloin medium well with baked potato butter and sour cream. Her steak was totally undercooked dripping blood and the baked potato was loaded. #5, I ordered a T-bone and baked potato. I received a ribeye. I offered to take ribeye at a discount so I wouldn't have to wait but that's not what I ordered. The manager (Sarah) said no. So I requested my T-bone cooked medium again. #6, seconds later, the waitress came to our table and attempted to teach me that a ribeye and T-bone were the same steak actually pointing at the menu to prove her point until she saw the picture and then stated "Oh, I guess it's not!" Duaaah! #7, 20 minutes later, I received a T-bone totally overcooked about the thickness and dry taste of shoe leather. No problems with my wife's meal but because of the upsetting service we received, she really didn't enjoy her meal. We paid $70.00 for a meal that we should have walked out on before it became so stressful. What a rip-off. I think its time Sarah and the waitress should be retrained on customer service and steak identification. UPDATE 3-16-21 I have emailed the main office twice and phoned twice. It's been a week and with no follow up by any management other than the note below asking me to contact their office. Was told that a Vence Seery managed the Gallatin location but I haven't been able to reach him either. I have taken reasonable steps to settle this matter peacefully. We previously resided in Gallatin, and were back visiting friend/neighbors over the Memorial weekend. Unfortunately this establishment closed due to COVID before we moved, so we could not use our gift cards. TG they're back open, and crowded. We met friends there, and they seated us in the back, appropriately spaced to other patrons. We got there in time for the $8.99 specials. Wow, what a deal. Hadn't had meatloaf in quite awhile, and was very impressed with the portion and flavor. Guys got chopped steak, and sirloin, both said were delicious and cooked perfectly. My gal pal got the salmon, which at first she thought might have been overcooked, but nope, flaked perfectly, and very moist. We all got two sides with our meals, and each, a 9 oz. pour of wine. Our bill was 99.01. What a deal. Service was excellent, table and booth was very clean (and clean smelling). We had been to this establishment many times prior to moving and always enjoyed it. Would highly recommend. Ample free parking. Disappointed no peanuts, but understand due to COVID. Their rolls are to die for! read more

To walk in establishment and not be greeted by host is one thing but to notice that you can't see their face because their hair hang in the face is not good. Then to proceed into bar area and no tables are empty because the one empty are dirty and no one wants to take time to clean a table off for seating for a customer. It has been a while since I have been to any Logan's. I have to say that I don't remember any experiences being worthy of 2 stars. I did go to this location last night. Something just did not feel right about this place. The music was too loud, the lights were not positioned well. The lighting was so bad, I had to stand in the aisle to read my menu. The staff seems to be more interested in talking to each other and the customers vs. providing a service. The servers gave me a bad vibe too. Too much make-up, weird clothing combos that did not fit, their hair looked like they had just woken up. Never saw a manager either. 2 guys in Black Chef's coats were in the dining room quick a bit. Do the mgrs now wear chef's coats now? You know you might have issues when the waitress starts out by complaining about the last table that spent $60 and tipped her $5. Then it took her way to long to take our order, asking the same questions over and over. Instead of getting our order in the system, she turned around and started waiting on the next table. 15 minutes later she brings 2 waters, we ordered 1. Came back with 1 beer, we ordered 2. 15 more minutes she brings an incorrect salad, only 1 we ordered 2. As far the quality of the food. The corrected salad had about 6 ounces of dressing on it and way too many carrots. My Caesar also was over loaded with dressing to the point that the lettuce was wilted. My guess is it had been sitting around drenched in dressing since lunch. Moments later a new waitress was assigned to us. Food came soon after that, 1 meal was totally incorrect, 2 were missing a side, and 1 meal did not get prepared, the new waitress had to take my order again. We have been here 45 minutes by now. You would think that it would be easy for a steak restaurant to have baked potatoes ready on a Wednesday night. Sweet potatoes too. They finally arrived, in to-go containers, since the entree's were eaten. The only reason they got 2 stars vs. 1 star is because they found a server that did her job, and they comp'd the whole meal, minus the beers.... but they tried to charge me for 5, but we only had 4. We did type her 20%, none of this was her fault. I will not be back to the Gallatin Logan's and it will be a while before I go to any Logan's. Hm, where do I begin. Upon entering the establishment, our boss was literally propositioned by the hostess. In a blatant suggestive innuendo she asked him to "come back on Saturday to entertain me with a drink". It was a pretty random moment. Next, one of the large canisters of peanuts had a menu in it that had been slimed with a big white splatter of an unidentifiable white gelatinous goop. We were all unsure if it was from a human or just some form of old and sticky mash potato boogers. Also, one of our party had significant residue/food particles on all his silverware. Amidst those very bad opening moments, the server was extremely nice. So while the hospitality was varied, the cleanliness of the establishment was not. read more

The sign indicates they are hiring staff. Been there twice one week apart. First visit, had to wait about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged that we wanted to eat there. Second visit went straight to the bar and took a seat. They were out of French Dip sandwich both times. Ordered small rib eye. Not cooked correctly. Sent back and still not cooked correctly. Ordered appetizer and never received it but wasn't charged for it. Overall-do not plan to return. Management needs to step it up and get organized. Kitchen staff obviously needs help. Great experience! My husband and I met a friend here for dinner and catching up. We were served our drinks quickly and food came soon afterward. My friend and I ordered steaks and my husband the ribs. Everything was delicious!!! We moved to the bar for another drink and talking and the waitress there was quick and cheerful. Save your money....... or go across the street to the competiter. It was definitely not worth the hassle! Tried to do the call ahead, and was told "We don't do that." After arriving and putting our names on the list, we saw two couples who arrived AFTER us, get seated while we waited. Next, we waited 45 minutes before "part" of our meal came. ..... and waited another ten for the remaining items. It took that long for two six ounce sirloins, fries and grilled mushrooms. The steamed broccoli was still raw so we won't count it. My husband asked to speak to the manager, and he/ she never came. I'm not sure if the message wasn't passed on, or if that is part of the problem. The only thing I can compliment them on was our server; from the time she took our order, till the time we left, she was moving constantly, checking on us and others. She was very apologetic, and was trying hard to compensate for the apparent problems in the kitchen. Arrival time was 5:40 and we finally left at 7:20. They did honor the 3 to 6 prices for the $ 8.99 meals, AFTER we pointed out our arrival time and order issues. read more

I used to go here because I had businesses locally and was staying in a hotel close by. Went there Monday they screwed up my dinner but hey it's Christmas so I sucked it up and even tipped 30%. Gave it one star bc there honestly wasn't anything lower. We've ordered take out twice from here now and both times were shorted food and also what food we did get was very low quality. This used to be my favorite place to eat. I would stop in at lunchtime with a co-worker and enjoy their lunch specials. Last week I went with my husband and family. I was so hurt to be talked to so rude by the host. And then the manager defended her host. I guess it's ok to say whatever you want to your guests these days. We won't be back. That's why Texas Roadhouse is doing a tremendous business and Logan's isn't. They have the best host staff and it's always a pleasure to go there. The manager reprimanded us for not being present for our table even though we arrived 5 minutes early. Upon entering Logan's the hostess was lacking in desirable greeting ethics . She never greeted the couple in front of us nor us and told the couple in front of us that there were no booths available . The gentleman politely requested a booth . The hostess said we have none and he states what about those two over there . The hostess said we have none then she finally stated we have no server for that section . It was 2:30 in the afternoon and they were not busy at all . I also wanted a booth so we chose to go to the open seating bar area where there were 4 booths but all were dirty with dishes still setting on them . I went back to the hostess and ask to be seated she made a huffing gestures and seated us at the table . I would have thought as a hostess instead of standing around talking to another employee she would have help buss those booths in the bar area . All of that should have been enough for us to leave but we stayed . I have to save at least our server Christine made our visit desirable . Doubt my wife will ever go back to Logan's in Gallatin Tn. Manager is extremely rude and doesn't care about anything but his employee / girlfriend. He caused about 30 people to get up and leave with some very unprofessional language when she attempted to talk to him about a very poor attitude waitress. He obviously was more interested in his waitress than making anything right. We've been in many Logan's around the Nashville area and in many other states including Redding California. This restaurant has the worst ratings and it's extremely obvious why. Poor management equals poor employees attitudes. It's really a shame. They have the best daytime bartender of any Logan's anywhere but her manager leaves a lot to be desired. Update. Just left there again I was talked into trying it one more time. Nothing has changed . Food was cold and server had a major attitude so I asked to see the manager. He never came out, same as before. This place will likely close in the near future. On Saturday night, I called to place an order for pick-up but the girl who answered said I could not place an order because the "to-go person" had already left for the night. I asked, "What time do you close?" to which she responded, "11pm". I called to place the order at 9:36pm. I just don't understand why I can't place a to-go order when the restaurant is still open for another hour and a half. I won't be going back to this location.
