I regularly visit this location sometimes multiple times a week but as of the last few months, the kitchen and quality of the food is extremely inconsistent. When the food is good it is really really good. But that's only the case about half of the times I visit at most. Other times it seems the kitchen staff rush and don't let the food cook all the way or it sits for a few minutes before bein brought to the table. Just doesn't live up to the $15-$20 a person in my own experience. That being said... The wait staff is absolutely incredible through and through and is a HUGE reason I continue to visit. Came in and there was no waiting which is good for Sunday afternoon. However, the timing was a little off with our drinks and appetizers but it's all good! The food is pretty good and Abigail is our server. She is friendly patient and knowledgeable and I must say she'll go to extra yard get you what you want! We are visiting family in Gallatin and stopped here for dinner. MISTAKE. Ordered two appetizers got one. We ordered a couple of (21+) lemon aid drinks that ended up being all mix. After a fairly long wait we finally ordered dinner and most of the food showed up cold. Two of the meals were actually gross with "steak" that was 90% fat and gelatinous. The pasta it came on was cold as well. One of the chicken dishes was cold and chewy. I feel we would have received a better meal at any of the other establishments nearby. Also there was just a weird vibe in the place. We received lots of stares. Maybe there is a regular crowd here but it was odd. Overall it was just a bad experience and we won't be back. read more

A very bad dining experience. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I had to send it back twice to heat it up. Even then the grits were not creamy, they stuck together in hard clumps. I think that they were old, had been warmed up too many times. My husband had to send his baked potato back to warm up as butter would not even melt on it. By the time that my dinner finally arrived at a warm temperature, my husband was almost done with his meal. The service was fine, but the quality of the food was not. We have been going to O'Charleys for years, but it will be awhile before we return. read more

I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. It's a chicken sandwich with a straight squirt of buffalo sauce squarely in the center. This is how I imagine it was made. The regular chicken sandwich is completed and ready to go in it's styrofoam container. Then the chef is like "oh shit wait! That was sposin' to be buffalo! So he ran in the back and came out with the sweet baby rays buffalo sauce. By that time it was already loaded in the car. So he ran along side it. The driver rolled his window down and he gave it one quick squirt. Then he wiped the sweat from his brow and went back to work. The actual sandwich wasn't too bad. The fries were really soggy. The rolls were ok. There was a local present and they said it was not their best. read more

Ordered a brownie sundae for two and a cherry pie. The "sundae" was a brownie only! That's all and the cherry pie was frozen!! What a joke.

Never get what I ordered!!! Give them a chance about every 3 years and never gets any better!!

This brand has really declined over the years. The smell when entering reminds me of a nasty red lobster. The tables and menus are sticky like a dive bar. Mold is seen everywhere on the ceiling. read more

I ordered a meal To-Go through this O'Charley's and received some less than stellar food, which wouldn't have prompted a Yelp post (I mean with staffing and Covid issues nationwide currently I think everyone should be a little more patient/forgiving) but the attitude my husband received from a manager the first time we called was why I initially posted. After feeling uneasy about a promise of a refund, I called back and spoke with Tabitha. Tabitha was immediately on point to fix the issue and apologized profusely about the interaction we had had with the other manager. I understand that the food industry is currently getting hit hard in a lot of different ways, and I appreciate Tabitha working with me to fix my issue. You'll be in good hands with her at this O'Charley's. read more

I used to order from O'Charley's at least once a week because the food is good and they have multiple cuisine options, including family-sized meals, etc. However, and I don't know if this is specific to ordering from DoorDash, but the restaurant frequently gets the order incorrect, and sometimes forgets items altogether. I'm not sure if it's an issue with attention to detail or reading ability, but forgetting even one item can ruin an entire meal. I am giving them an extra star because the food is good, but until they improve I can't really recommend the place and, sadly to say, I rarely order from them anymore. read more

Always a wonderful experience to spend time with family at this location! It's a wondwonderful environment of relaxation with good music. Alongside that the food was absolutely delicious as usual, the fried fish has a wonderful and crispy batter while the sandwich was stuffed with delicious ingredients. OK, we've given O'Charleys three tries over the last couple of months and this last order was the final one. 1. Missing items and bag not properly taped up. It looked like it was rummage through. 2. The steaks were tough, tasteless, and not cooked to order 3. ​Horrible Mac & Cheese. We can say it wasn't because of a lack of tip because we gave 21% in tip along with other fees. Was greeted by a smiling hostess and taken to our seats. Our server was Skeeter and he was very attentive without becoming a pest. I ordered the fried shrimp with sides of a baked potato and broccoli. Very delicious! I was full and had to give my last shrimp to my husband. He said he wished he had ordered that. My husband has the chicken parmigiana and it looked delicious, but hubs said it was too salty. That's the V only V reason for the four stars. Went for lunch today. Service was great but what have they done to the Potato soup? It used to be great. Not anymore!!! Took my daughter to this location tonight and it wasn't very good. Ordered an appetizer and had to remind the server that we ordered it so she could get it. It came back cold. Couldn't send it back because she was too busy talking to the guys at the bar. Food came and it was not good. Broccoli was like eating mush it was so over cooked and you had to be a dog to get even the slightest bit of meat off the bone. My daughter had checking fingers and they were fine and my salad was fine. We come here two or three times a year and it is always the same. Too bad. We don't have enough places to eat in Gallatin and I need to scratch this one. read more

There is this one nerdy server named Blaze. Blaze is so good at his job that we always come here for Blaze. Nobody else does as good as Blaze. All other servers are inadequate, as they know very little about bringing joy to their customers. We will name our dog or perhaps even our child after Blaze. Went in today to get food for my employees, stood in the front and was never helped. Another couple came in, helped right away. The couple, very nice , had to ask me if I was helped, while the two employees just stood there. Very disappointing. I hate to play the race card but what am I to think when me (a person of color) was looked over and a couple ( not people of color) was helped as soon as they walked in. read more

Only reason this O'Charley's is getting the 3 stars is because the food was pretty solid. Our chicken tenders came out hot and came semi quickly after we placed our order. The negative was the waitress took 15 minutes before she came over to take our drink order. The water came out quickly, my beer came out after my food was served. And another person at my table never got her drink. Again it was not very busy our waitress just was not very good. read more

Wow. Talk about NO Covid regulations. Service was great and food good but that was about all. There's a seat at the bar where you can see directly into the kitchen constantly and oh my lord. The worst of it were the two managers that were on expo one a heavy set bald guy and the other a tall slender woman with auburn hair (both wore glasses) having their masks below their chin and directly breathing over food constantly while eating and touching their face constantly never once saw them wash their hands and I was looking in that kitchen the entire time. Don't bother ordering. It's trash. Tiny portions that are improperly cooked. Just hit up fast food.

I can get a good steak most anywhere but to enjoy myself with a server that is prompt, jovial, and offers suggestions is rare. I am not usually a fan of this style restaurant, and my recent visit seemed at first to confirm my reasons. Although my wife and child and I were seated quickly, it took a long time for us to be served. It was a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was only half full. The floor was dirty and employees seemed oblivious to it. However, once our server did engage, he did a nice job. He was unusually polite, using the language you'd normally associate with Chik-Fil-a, saying "My pleasure" when we would thank him for delivering a drink or appetizer. The fried pickles were great, as were the hamburger I ordered and the chicken fingers with loaded baked potato my wife ordered. By the end of our visit, I noticed the carpet had been cleaned up, and all of the food and drinks we'd ordered were exactly to our expectations. What you want when you come to a chain restaurant is a certain experience-one that should be identical for any store in the chain, and in this case, the service was good and the food was good. I'm more inclined to try this location again than I was before this visit. read more

My wife and I just recently transferred from California to Tennessee; and this is our first experience at an O'Charley's. From the $.99 menu for the kids meals to the seafood platter or the chicken strips - they were all excellent meals. The waitress and the floor manager were both exceptionally nice, very friendly, very helpful and made our first experience excellent. We ordered burgers, I ordered coleslaw as my side. We picked up the food curbside. When we got home my husband's order was fine but, mine was terrible. The coleslaw had no sauce, it was just dry cabbage and lettuce, the burger was overcooked, I ordered it medium, it was medium well and there were no condiments for the burgers in the bag. I called to let them know. They said, drive back (30 min. there and back) and we will give you another coleslaw and a slice of pie. I declined. read more
