We stopped in for dinner tonight. I should have noticed that their parking lot was on the empty side, but I didn't. Walked in and immediately sat down. Lots of empty tables. (Second missed clue). The menus were messy, and drink menus was super sticky. (Third-Degree missed clue). On a positive note, our waitress was great, its the food. The dinner rolls were delicious. The steak... not so much. It was cooked medium rare which is what we asked for, but the color was a bit wierd. The texture was wierd and the look was wierd. Almost congealed looking. Kinda like they cooked it frozen. Not very flavorful either. Now I ordered the salmon and shrimp. The salmon was good, but the shrimp looked wierd. Not pink. I didn't even try. My son had coconut shrimp. That was good. Did I mention our waitress was nice. I'd won't go back. The 2 stars are for. The waitress. We came here for dinner. It wasn't too crowded. We were seated in the bar half of the restaurant. We got bread to start which wasn't anything special, but the rest of the food was really good. I had a side combo, which included a plain baked potato, a chili and broccoli. I added a caesar salad. All of it was excellent. I really loved the chili. The broccoli was well seasoned. Ordered for delivery. The teriyaki chicken was cold and dry served over a tsp. Of rice that looked like Minute Rice. The "LOADED" sweet potato had no toppings. The green beans were obviously from a can and not even seasoned or drained! The potato skins were dry and hard, with no flavor. They can with less than a tsp of sour cream. The rolls- 6 rolls can with the equivalent of a single pat of butter. Loaded potato " bowl"of soup for just under $6. It was the size of a cup of soup. Photo shows a size comparison between what I received and what I normally receive a bowl of soup in from delivery. I can see what Longhorn was slammed and no one was at Logan's. We wanted steak for dinner and sadly it was horrible. Ordered a steak cooked medium, it came out well done so they did a recook, the recook came out medium rare so I said it was fine. Not only was it the thinnest "12oz" I've ever seen but it was also horrible, not the "quality cuts" they say they have. Only ate half because the other half was fat. Sad that a Logan's is just not great at all. Service was good though. Definitely not coming back to this location. read more

These reviews are comical. The food here is legit. Pleasantly surprised. Lived in much bigger cities and have done the high end trendy restaurants all over the country. If you are a transplant to Gallatin from NY or Chicago and you want some decent food, Logan's delivers. My wife kept commenting how surprised she was with her steak. Service was super slow tonight cause the Manager must of sent everyone home for the night. Servers were unhappy with management and complaining to each other and the bartender had six tables plus the bar. I was staying at a hotel in walking distance and was really in the mood for a steak. Man, what a disappointment my experience was, sad to report. It was 7 when I walked in, there was a 30 min wait, plenty of free tables and no spots at the bar. So I hung out for a bit and finally snagged a table at the bar. I sat for a good 5 minutes before I was greeted but when she did come over she was friendly enough. The fresh bread was amazing, as always. I ordered the trio with steak, crab cakes and grilled shrimp and the baked potato soup and baked potato. The soup came out cold. The crab cakes were mushy and tasted weird, (and garnished with scallions which I explicitly asked to be left off everything) the shrimp wasn't cooked very well and the steak was seared to hell and burnt but still very red inside (for well done). I asked for to go boxes and literally waited 10 minutes for that, they tried to take the plates away and I mentioned I'm still waiting for to go boxes. The bartender went and hung out with someone she's dating I'm assuming on the other side of the bar and I continue to wait for a check, I eventually flagged someone else down to help. Just don't come here, plain and simple. I came here with my family.... the restaurant was empty... but for some reason, we waited over an hour to get our food. Also the waitress kept forgetting stuff. My husband ordered 4 diff types of beers and after ordering each one.. the waitress would come by 15 mins later just to say that the tap wasn't working or they were out. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff was much more concerned with listening to loud music and talking about NFL games than making sure that the correct things were with orders. Not sure how this place is still open. First and foremost the server was very nice. Actually, all the people were nice. Got there at 6:07 tonight July 3rd. We had to sit in the bar because they did not have enough servers, we counted 3 maybe 4 servers. Ordered an appetizer 50 minutes it arrived cold. Asked if just to be microwaved, 15 more minutes. DO NOT ORDER THE BARBECUE PLATE. my daughter and I got it and it literally looked like cat food. It tasted ok but could not get past the look. They were very kind and got us a plate of ribs to share. I feel terrible for the staff. I'm sure they have done all they can to recruit but still horribly understaffed. Need to take that barbecue plate off the menu. We need good restaurant in Gallatin. No peppercorn sauce on it, just a bun with a piece of dry chicken with cheese on it. Half way through eating it I wished I just got a McDonald's chicken sandwich. Fries tasted as if they came in a bag and tossed in the microwave. Much of the food was prepared incorrectly, then the light fixture went out mid-meal. COME HERE FOR COVID! So I truly hate to do this because Logan's has been one of my fav places for quite some time, BUT... I just moved to the area and have gotten delivery (via 3rd party) from here 4 times. Something in the order was missing 3 out of 4 of those times. That's not why I'm writing this review; just additional information. I'm writing this review because tonight I went inside to pick up my order. (I'd actually ordered a side item as a little surprise for my boyfriend because they'd missed it from our order last night and he'd been disappointed.) I'd ordered ahead, and while I'm not comfortable dining out due to COVID-19, I did feel safe enough with a quick in/out to grab a bag of food (with my mask on, of course). I later found out they are offering curbside if you pull up to the door, but there's no signage or advertising for this so I had no idea. I stood inside waiting for my food for about 15 minutes. Half the employees had their mask on their chin, including the hosts greeting people and the person handling the To Go orders. It's loud in there, so they have to get pretty close & project in order to be heard. While I waited, I saw the person in the To Go area touch their face, mouth, nose, etc. in between handling everyone's food. I saw one employee had a mask on, and then *pulled it down* to speak with a customer. I understand that people are unfortunately choosing to not wear masks in their personal lives. That's out of my control and I can't tell anyone how to live their life. However, I naively thought that businesses and establishments out there would care a little more about their customers and keeping them safe while we're in the biggest spike of COVID-19 cases yet. I had lunch around 11:30 and sat at the bar. Courtney was wonderful! She gave me honest opinions about the food I had questions about and she ended up getting me to try the crab cakes which I LOVED! I also ordered a 6 oz sirloin. Honestly, I had to question her about what steak I ordered because it tasted and had the texture of a filet. I ordered it medium rare and it was PERFECT.
