Ive never had food more dry and tasteless then this place and they do a good job of keeping that consistent.

Final straw a few months ago when our appetizer came out with our COLD food. Horrible!!!

The last two two times I was there they served use raw steaks and under cooked salmon. Also the waiter was worthless.

This restaurant was one of our favorites a few years ago. The selection of food is good, and quality good for a chain, but the service the past year has deteriorated and is now very poor. Time and again, we have been very frustrated. We often have waited 45 minutes for our food to come. Silverware is often dirty. We also have ordered takeouts on many occasions, and that has been a nightmare! I've waited a half hour after our food was supposed to be ready. Then, the order was wrong! We have often gotten home with our food only to find that they forgot some of our order or it was wrong. This happens most of the time! Tonight, I ordered two meals. Pretty simple. They told me it'd be ready in 20 minutes. It took 45 minutes for our takeout to be ready. And the order was wrong. My hamburger was dried out (was ordered medium well) and had no onion, tomato nor lettuce on it, as ordered. I asked the manager who was standing near if I could have what I ordered. He said he would get what I ordered...so I waited....and waited. The bartender was quite unhelpful and very unfriendly. So, I took my food to the back near the kitchen. Finally, the manager walked out, and realized that he had forgotten to deal with my situation. He finally brought the vegetables out for me. We will NEVER return to this restaurant again! I noticed the place has really gone downhill on service but I thought I would try them again. I ordered a roadhouse steak cob salad and it came out with no steak on it. I told my son I think they made a mistake but he thought I was wrong. Well I get home and looked at the menu online and it indeed was supposed to have steak on it. The dining experience was bad. Service took forever and we asked for a box and had to ask for it twice. It never did come. We gave up. We even had to ask for rolls twice. I will be trying the other steak house in town. The cheesecake desert was good but my son had to ask for a clean utensil. The rolls were good and the peanuts are a nice touch, but I don't think I will be back. read more

We do quite a bit of take out on late nights. We tried logans take out and it was awful. We called ahead and placed the order. When we got there 30 mins later they had forgotten to put the order in so we had to wait another 30 mins. Do you think they offered us a drink while we wait, no we had to pay for it. When we got the food it was if someone dumped the whole salt shaker on in the box. My wife couldnt eat her meal. My sides were missing, and my steak was well done and burnt. We called the manager and he offered us a gift certificate in response, but we never got it. We talked to an employee who says he just says that to get you to quit being upset but never actually goes through with it. I didn't give it a 1 star for the soul fact there are a couple good waitresses that work here and the food is better in house, not take out. read more

the food was pretty good. it came out in decent time. the service was pretty bad. the wait staff at night is too busy screwing around with each other to take care of customers. couldn't get a drink or roll refill to save my life. if I go back it will definitely be at a different time of day. read more

My wife and I were seated pretty promtly but when we were shown a table out in the middle of the area, I asked for a booth and was given such a line of crap that how they "rotate" the booths.....and was refused to be shown a booth, when we were looking at least three empty booths...which within two minutes later other people were put in those empty booths. Our server/waiter could not care to say the least about working there, was more going through the motions, and best of all he screwed up the order, we ordered an appettizer but he totally forgot to put the order in, which he did AFTER bringing out our dinner salads.....but blamed it on the kitchen staff.....others around us got better service than we did most likely due to our hostess not showing us a booth that we requested..... He never came back asking if we wanted more drinks or anything else, he just waited till we had food in our mouths and then would come up and ask how was the meal. During the meal the both of us had to battle a fly that kept on annoying us. The food was so-so and the service was even less than that...will we go back there ever again, probably not.....unless we want to have lousy service and bugs.....there are better places to eat that this.....and have way better service. read more

Took my daughter here for her 10th birthday, told the General Manager, our server, and another server it was her birthday, nobody came out and yelled or even acknowledged her birthday, no happy birthday from the general manager, or server,and NO BIRTHDAY YELL..... this is specifically why we came here, I have always been a fan of Logan's even after previous horrible experiences I still returned, this time I will not... at least to the Midland location... extremely disappointed!!! read more

The absolute worse dining place in Midland. Got burned again on a date with my wife. My wife salmon was so raw, It could have been served at the sushi place across the street. Then the assistant manager came out and told us she would reheat the SAME piece!!! Salmon Jerky is not what my wife wanted. We told her to properly cook another and then told we would have to wait another 30 minutes after I just finished my meal. This place has burned us before and we are done going here. The assistant manager didn't even apologize and seemed irritated at us for complaining. So here's my review, if your a Hindu, looking for a fun night out at fasting, come here. This was by far the worst meal my family has ever had at a restaurant. The fish and chips were overcooked and the breading on the fish had no flavor. My husband ordered surf and turf - the shrimp was on a bed of rice pilaf - there couldn't have been even 2 tablespoons of rice! In addition, the shrimp was overcooked, too! I had the ribs and the sweet potato. The food was so cold that the butter did not melt at all in the potato. All of our food was cold. Our waitress, Rachel, told us our food would be up in a minute. Twenty minutes later someone else brought it to us. This was absolutely terrible. I wouldn't even rate it a 1 star. read more

Love this place in Midland! The server in the bar area - he's always friendly and spot on - doesn't miss a beat!! He is right on the ball and we are never sitting without anything! The food is always top notch and the beer is cold! Highly recommend!! read more

Probably a little overpriced for what you get. I don't think their steaks are any better than what you get at any other chain restaurant. Just average. But they have good deals some times and you will always get decent food. Plus, they actually know how to cook a steak properly. read more

I've eaten at Logan's twice and the first experience was standard of any dining establishment, while the second inspired me to write this review. Upon receiving our main courses, the pulled pork was as if someone pulled it from a refrigerator and scooped it onto our plates. I informed the waitress of this, who could be seen in the distance sitting down at another guest's table, chit-chatting with her friends while on the clock, and I never got an apology for the lack of quality (which is among the first things people learn pertaining to customer service). The ribs on our plates were cooked to the full satisfaction of a starving animal, in that they seemed as if they were stored in a roaring bonfire for about ten hours before they were served. However, after spending $60 on my meal, I had some pretty good onion petals and a nice, cold Blue Moon in a bottle. read more

I was disappointed by the service. The waitress was rude. She brought one of my children three drinks as we ate but did not bother to give my husband, my daughter or myself another beverage. I ate lunch here for the third time today while I was in town on business. I knew there were several better choices, but the location was convenient and I had a time crunch. Let's just say three strikes and you're out. The food was average--after all it is a chain restaurant, but the service was pathetic. Logan's! What is going on? This used to be a very nice place to dine in Midland but the level of service and cleanliness of the place was a major disappointment this time around. The women's bathroom looked like it hadn't been mopped in weeks. Mold around the floor, rust and dirt on the stalls, molding very dirty... The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately (thank you) but I was put in a booth with a huge hole in the seat, even though there were others available, which makes me wonder how many other seats are torn? The vinyl kept snagging my clothing. We sat next to the bar but the waitress could not tell us what kind of tequila they had without checking.. not once but twice.. (her excuse was that they were changing things around again). Both types we requested, were out. We did not receive the customary peanuts and there were none to be found. Our buckets were full of old shells. .. My menu actually had food in it, which fell when I opened it and it was very sticky. The food was good, but we were told we could not substitute the rice on our entrée with vegetables? Really?. . Her excuse: the rice is actually a condiment so you can't change it. Um. .OK .I guess I'll have the rice. Guess what? She brought our plates out. . No rice.. one stock of broccoli and no dill sauce for the Salmon. She assumed we didn't want it. OK. . so back to the kitchen to grab us a side of sauce. We then had to ask for lemons... She was friendly, but not very knowledgeable or attentive. She brought our bill before we were even done eating and then had to wait on the manager when we advised we wanted another drink. needless to say, I never saw the manager or I would have asked about the rules of "substitution." . .I normally would not take the time to complain about all the little things but it was the combination of the entire evening. I paid 15.99 for my meal and did not think my request was unreasonable. Every other restaurant I have frequented will accommodate dietary issues. All in all, I think Logan's is getting tired. Our visit was on Friday April 3, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. We were immediately seated which is unusual since most restaurants have a wait time to be seated. I went to the restroom (Men's) and found the conditions grotesquely unsanitary with paper towel litter all over the floor. Our server started out to be friendly. She took our drink and appetizer order and then once we were served our appetizers she took our dinner order. The appetizers were bland and cool to the touch. My wife ordered the rib eye steak with creaser's salad and macaroni & cheese. The steak was highly overdone. The server seemed pissed that my wife complained. The next steak was on the opposite end of the spectrum underdone but was edible. My ribs were almost cold with no flavor. Blandness seems to be the theme. During our stay no manager approached our table asking about our experience nor did we receive a greeting on our way out. With their prices being higher than the competition the quality falls way short. read more
