Honestly horrible horrible food. Start to finish garbage. We started with the spinach dip and no exaggeration got 3 tablespoons of dip and a whole plate of chips. I looked online to make sure that wasn't standard and all the pictures show full bowls. The dip tasted decent but no where near a full order. We ordered the porterhouse steak rare, it came out solid grey all the way through well done. I asked them to recook it which I never do. The one we got as a replacement was rare but so tough we couldn't chew half of it. The salads were a few pieces of lettuce and cheese and a glob of dressing. The loaded mashed potatoes were ok. I ordered half and half tea, first glass was 100% unsweet second was 100% sweet. We were at the little two person side table which is fine but we had to ask them to clear dishes so they could set down new ones they just kept letting us pile them up. The only good thing about the entire experience was the rolls. I know this probably reads dramatic, but honestly one of the worst meals I had in a long time. So, it's hot (98) and humid here in Pearl, MS. Never been in a logans roadhouse, seen them around, so I guessed, that we needed to give it a try! This place was NOT busy. We walk on in and get seated. It took 10 minutes to Order our drinks and meals ( pork chops, fries and corn), (a beef/cheese and onion, au juice and fries) it took over an hour to receive our order!! Oh, by the way, the A/C is NOT working! I confronted the manager, he states that it hasn't been working now for 3 days(?)! I will never step foot into a logans roadhouse again! Both of us ordered steaks. Cooked medium with baked potatoes. Mine was a sweet potato and hers was a loser potato. Her steak was cooked perfectly medium and my mine was wellllllll cooked. Sent it back and it was delivered again wrong so I just ordered something totally different the shrimp skewers and it wasn't any better. Stopped here while driving through Mississippi. I ordered a NY strip steak, with loaded mashed potatoes and fried okra. The service was good. The loaded mashed potatoes and okra were superb. My first visit here was pretty disappointing, I ordered a steak it was just bad. I only came here a second time because it was the only place open late and it was really close to my hotel. My second trip I called ahead of time to place an order for takeout. I ordered the Southwest Grilled Shrimp Appetizer (Mesquite wood-grilled shrimp with Southwest Seasoning. Served with avocado, diced tomato, Roasted Corn & Black Bean salsa) the corn salsa was pretty tasty but unfortunately they forgot the avocado. I also go the Grilled Steak Salad (Fresh Romaine & iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, bacon, & hard-boiled egg topped with mesquite wood-grilled steak.) It was a very basic salad, I could have made a better one. The steak itself was a little chewy for me. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food when they said it would take 15-20 minutes. The place was empty so I don't know why it took that long. The place had nice big screen TVs at the bar so maybe I'd come back to watch a game but I'd rather eat somewhere else. read more

I took my cowworkers to eat here (party of 4) and we ordered food at 4:48pm 1 hour later food wasn't ready, we had to catch a plane so we asked to get the order to-go. We waited an extra 15 minutes and we still didn't get the food. The server and host were unapologetic, we had to leave without the food, very sad and disappointed, Logan it's usually a good experience unfortunately not here. OK, I don't get the whole drop your peanut shells on the floor, thing. I'm sure it truly establishes that you are eating out since you don't have to clean up no matter how big a mess you make; butwho wants to walk on the peanut shells later? This is likely my own hang-up and the rating isn't due to that point. My issue is all about slow service and bland food. I arrived at 7:10, asked for a table for on and was told unless I sat at the bar the wait would be 30 minutes. Since I was staying in the hotel across the road I decided to take an order to go. So I placed my order for the everything salad and wings with their bourbon sauce, on the side. Initially the hostess said the order would take 25-30 minutes. When she saw my face react with shock she said ."oh no to go it'll be faster than that." So I took my seat on the bench feet resting on peanut carcasses. 15 minutes goes by, and then 25 minutes goes by. All of the people that have come in after me for dine in have been seemed, even the two parties of two and one party of six. Now we are up to 30 minutes and there are a gaggle of staff hanging out by the hostess station, but she is nowhere to be seen. At about 35 minutes she is back and we make eye contact. No reaction of horror that I'm still waiting for my order, barely any acknowledgement of my existence. Should shows some other folks to a table, it's 40 minutes now and no one has said a word to me. I resolve to leave in five minutes, food or none. The clock is about to strike the 40 minute mark and when someone appears at the counter with with two large bags. They call one name, and then they call my name. they open up the Styrofoam container displaying the contents, and with my approval close them and I give them my CC. I'm ready to go but there is no register nearby the hostess station. The waiter disappears into the bowels of the restaurant to submit the charge. Another five minutes passes before he re-emerges with the receipt for signature. So now at long last I'm on my way with what I expected was a quick dinner 40 minutes later. When it comes to the food I'll sum it up this way: Not good enough to warrant a 40 minute wait even if dining in. The Salad was still dripping with water from the leaves being washed, the wings were bland if they were boiled then grilled. The sauce was interesting, but not interesting enough. i had a horrible experience today at Logan's. Good customer service is at an all time low. So me and my friend come logan's and the hostess tells us it's a 15/20 minute wait we say okay. i give her my name. i try to give her my number she tells she doesn't need it. okay so the hostess motions for us to be seated. My friend says "who us"she says yes. Now it sounded like she said "Logan's" as she motioned for us to follow her. We sit down our waitress comes to the table and the host comes back and ask us what my is "I say Amber " she says the table was for "Logan" so we say oh we can go back and wait because we weren't trying to get in front of anybody. the hostess says it's okay. so if it's okay why even come to our table and say any of that. it made us very uncomfortable. And nobody came in after us to be seated that was her fault. And i'm assuming "the Logan's" thought we jumped in front of them and to take the heat of the hostess she threw us under the bus as if we sat ourselves and no that was not the case. And they were already sitting at a table when she came to our table. So why is the hostesses harassing us about her mistake? The hostess didn't handle that right. next problem we order our food and my friend says he would like some fresh rolls with his meal. The server replies "if you are finished with the ones you have" . excuse me? and if we are not finished we can't get any more rolls? Cuz we can get anything we order cuz we have money to pay for it. Who is she tell us we can't have more rolls? I was a bartender at Logan's years ago. I know the game and she said that cuz we were black. She was out of line it was definitely micro aggression racism. We can get more rolls. We will pay for the rolls. But that slick comment she should have kept to her self. I didn't get her name. but she had the section by the bar. Please figure out who she is. So after that we decided to just leave. No, Just don't bother with this place! Turn around and pick out a different restaurant. I ate the French dip that was supposed to be "thinly sliced" does this look thinly sliced to you????? It was more like chewing on a rubber tire. One of your bartenders is extremely rude. I sat down at the bar for a good 10 minutes without even a "hello" or " i'll be right with you." I kept trying to make eye contact with him and it was obvious he wanted absolutely nothing to do with me. FINALLY, One of your other bartenders who I've spoken to the day before came out and waited on me immediately. I am a server myself and I was more than patient with this bartender. If I had seen him "Balls to the wall or in the weeds" I wouldn't be writing this review. Now the bathrooms on the other hand, there's absolutely zero excuse for them to be as filthy and as disgusting as they are. I felt like my hands were dirtier after I washed them in that putrid, Petri dish. That really got my imagination going, I can only imagine what it looks like in the kitchen. The food was mediocre and just slapped together. We tried speaking with the manager who wanted absolutely nothing to do with his job. He did not fix our problem and proceeded to mumble through his mask. After that I just basically threw my hands up. I couldn't imagine things getting any worse but the manager did an excellent job of doing it. It was an extremely frustrating situation with crappy food. Our server was excellent and he would've made a better manager!!! If the lazy manager is the person that overlooks the restaurant before opening it, he should be fired. When I got seated and my Steak (12oz) Ribeye arrived although I ordered the 16oz, it was the worst steak I have had in a very long time. I just walked out about 20 mins ago. I was there to pick up a DoorDash order Which typically should take more than 10 mins max. However, i waited more than 40 mins for the order and it still didn't come out. There's no system in place for anyone to know when orders are ready and the two hostesses were doing nothing but socializing with each other even after numerous check ins with four other Dashers that had been waiting for at least 30 mins. After 30 mins of waiting, I asked a young lady if she could go check for the order, she never came back after 10 mins. I decided to leave and cancel the order I had picked up which one, hurts my pockets and hurts the customer as well. I understand if they were short staffed but the processes aren't in place and obviosuly everyone isn't getting trained across positions, but being short staffed isn't the answer here. I would think after the other reviews of poor customer service and long wait times they would have made the necessary changes but it hasn't. The service and the food both bring this particular location down. Service: We've been to this location quite a few times and service is usually always a miss. I can recall ONE time we actually had a good, attentive server. The other times, we hardly ever saw our servers which meant we didn't get drink refills, had trouble getting our check, had trouble getting our card back when paying because they were taking too long, etc. Food: You've got about a 50/50 shot of getting good food. Half the time the steaks have a nice flavour and have the time they have no flavour. As for getting your steak cooked at the correct temperature, I'd say you have about a 25% chance. Those aren't very good odds, eh? Then it goes right back to the bad service.... if there's a problem with the food, you're more than likely going to have a problem getting your server to acknowledge you so the issue can be corrected. This place just seems really disorganized. It's like everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It seems they are all trying to get something done, but there's no good direction, so nothing is getting done. Somebody call Management 911 into this place! Unless you go for lunch or about an hour before they close, there's always a pretty significant wait here. They do provide peanuts for you to nosh on while you're waiting (and also at your table). Those who have issues with peanut shells being all over the floor, stay away. If you must eat at Logan's, go to the one at Dogwood; although, it's not much better because I only rated it 3 stars. I am more than disappointed in this Logans Location in Pearl, MS. Our school was visiting Jackson and won 3A State powerlifting. We had a group of 25 kids. The kids arrived at 9:25 pm after ceremony This was located close to our hotel. The hostess and manager refused service with them closing at 11:00 pm. With this being said, they lost a lot of money and business with us. Never will I recommend any Logans in Jackson/ Pearl/Flowood area in Mississippi. We watched other customers walk in and be seated with no wait after being told this and we had to find a drive thru location after our girls had been at Coliseum in Jackson Ms all day for competition.
