Went there with a group from my job and the service was horrible. It was about 50 of us and for whatever reason, we had one server(we were advised that she requested to be alone). Some people did not get food until the very end, 8 people sitting at tables but only 3-4 rolls brought out to the tables and undercooked food. However, I have never witnessed anyone leave there displeased unless they are just one of those people who refuse to be pleased period. There are always bad apples in a bunch, I have eaten @ Logan's Roadhouse since they opened so I will vouch for their excellence in cooking a delicious steak, and they are reasonably priced. But you do get what you pay for !! Their potato soup is absolutely the best of any restaurants , plus their rolls are always fresh. The service is stellar ! They take the phone off the hook, so they won't have to respond to to go orders and when you call the main line; they refuse to take the order. Over the years this establishment has gradually declined in quality of food preparation. Grilled shrimp roadhouse salad use to be a go-to entree. Today it left a lot to be desired. I eat here about once a month and I love it. In Roanoke Rapids, the majority of the dining experiences come from corporate sponsors so Logan's is a breath of fresh air.
