Arrived 10mins late for reservation (our fault). We waited at our table for 15mins, got up and got…read moreour own menus. Our order was put in at 745 and we were served at 845. Never did we hear a "sorry were busy, it's taking awhile" and my sister said something to the owner. The response was "we've been really busy and I have been working really hard" which then turned into a complete defense from the owner and never a healthy conversation. We paid our bill, walked out and was followed by the owner. She yelled profanities, threatened to call the cops, continued to defend her "hard work" and even said "go to effin A&W" all in front of the six kids that were with us. I have never seen anything like this and am so sad we gave this place our business. As a business owner, she should be ashamed of her actions.

We are staying in town as we do every year. A local reccomended pizza from what he called "The sand…read moretrap". I looked the number up and just a phone number came up, no website or menus. So I called the number at 3pm and asked if I could order a pizza. The lady that answered, a middle aged sounding lady, snapped at me and said "kitchen doesn't open till 4, want to pick up at 4:30 or not?" I explained to her that I did not know what kind of pizza they had because I didn't see that they had a website with a menu. She snapped at me again and stated "We are under Westwood sand trap." Ok, do you have a supreme pizza? Yes it is called the house pizza. Ok, can you do half meat and half house? "No we cannot do something like that!!" So I ordered the house pizza, even though the woman that answered was extremely rude and sounded inconvenienced. When we got in there, without even looking at us the same lady, I recognized her voice, said have a seat anywhere and turned around. I told her we were there for a pizza. She snapped that it was not 4:30 so we would have to wait. My husband and I waited and paid but felt like outsiders the whole time. Mind you, the sign on the door coming in reads that the kitchen opens at 11am. The pizza was ok. Was it worth 17.00 for a small? Not really but it wasn't horrible. The service needs a lot of help!

Admittedly, this will be a narrow review…read more I went to Cornell to find someplace for lunch. Just a note, Moonridge will not show up for "open now" selection during the day yet. Yelp only shows that it's open for dinner, but that is not the case. For lunch I had the pulled chicken sandwich with macaroni and cheese and grilled vegetables. The sandwich was delightful. The bread was excellent though I only ate half to cut down on carbs. The chicken was good, just be aware if you're super picky it is a mix of light and dark meat, but the accompanying barbecue sauces, regular, sweet, and spicy, are all really good. I had a hard time deciding which one to use so I just made a few different pools and alternated my dipping. The grilled vegetables were fine, but I thought the macaroni and cheese was really good. It was not gooey or super creamy. it was just macaroni with cheese. I don't know if that makes sense or does it justice because it was delicious, but it wasn't super heavy, thick, or greasy. I really liked it a lot. Now it appears the place is more famous for being a brewpub and I did not sample anything so I can't speak to that. However, the bar area was nice and the dining area was very clean. I did speak to the owner a little bit before I left and he was a really nice guy. I observed the way he interacted with other customers that were there and he was super nice to everybody. The ambience is casual but nice and clean and the service was friendly and professional. I travel almost every week for work and keep a list of places that I enjoy eating at and Moonridge went on the list today. I can't wait to try something else there.

Slow, inaccurate service, awful drinks and yucky food. The bad--out of all listed wines except house wines, and when ordering a whiskey old fashioned sour, was brought a whiskey sour. Then when pointed out the error, they just dumped bitters into the whiskey sour and brought it back. The pork shanks were "old" tasting, the beef tips were served on linguine not listed in description, and drowned in a weird sweet cream sauce (their attempt at a masala sauce?), and only about 5 pieces of meat in the whole dish. Also, ordered a rib eye and was brought prime rib, then took about 20 mins to correct, and had reheated and dried out the baked potato. Then was told his sour cream was on "her" plate. Her being the person who ordered a chicken Caesar salad. WTF? The good-- decent salad bar (still a salad bar though), and the chicken fingers and fried we ordered for the toddler in the group looked pretty good (especially in light of what the rest of us got). Good water, and free mints. That's it. We did notice a for sale sign out front, and I think these people have already given up. This used to be a good place to go with previous owners. Lets hope these guys sell soon and new people can resurrect this supper club!
