When the male owner introduced himself, he asked where we were from and we told him we lived in Phillips. He gave us an odd look and then grilled us about why he'd never seen us in there before. It wasn't phrased as a polite question, either. Long story short, the owner's wife or girlfriend? was eavesdropping on a conversation we were having with a guy we'd just met at the bar, misheard the conversation and freaked out. We tried to explain that she'd misheard what was said but it still resulted in my entire group (including my 75 year old father and 65 year old Aunt) getting kicked out before we even finished our first (very weak) drinks. Both she and the male owner were clearly drunk. Male owner was apologetic for his wife/girlfriend's actions, and gave us a CBD oil business card on our way out the door. Now I understand why they rely on tourists.

She always has a nasty disposition towards customers that are not "her" friends. We have been consistent Subway customers at this store ever since it started and we have NEVER been told we weren't allowed "more" pickles on our sandwiches. Dealing with this employee left a bad taste in my mouth, and she was so nasty and sarcastic to the poor boy unfortunate enough to be stuck working with her. The manager needs to very HARSHLY AND LOULDY remind this employee that being nice is free. As for us, we and our friends/family will not be purchasing from this store until she is fired.

And then there was a MacGyver sitting with his wife great couple we had great conversations. The food was amazing. My husband had breakfast and I had the ham lunch. The soup was ready at 8:30 AM. The pork shanks were "old" tasting, the beef tips were served on linguine not listed in description, and drowned in a weird sweet cream sauce (their attempt at a masala sauce?), and only about 5 pieces of meat in the whole dish. Also, ordered a rib eye and was brought prime rib, then took about 20 mins to correct, and had reheated and dried out the baked potato. Then was told his sour cream was on "her" plate. Her being the person who ordered a chicken Caesar salad. WTF? The good-- decent salad bar (still a salad bar though), and the chicken fingers and fried we ordered for the toddler in the group looked pretty good (especially in light of what the rest of us got). Good water, and free mints. That's it. We did notice a for sale sign out front, and I think these people have already given up. This used to be a good place to go with previous owners. Lets hope these guys sell soon and new people can resurrect this supper club!
