Today, I went to go open a new account with Lockheed in their Pasadena office and let me tell you, the customer service was superb and none other that I have experienced so far with banks or financial institutions. The first person I saw was Anne who was this very nice lady who greeted me and offered me coffee and made me feel welcomed. Anthony Rose was the guy who took care of me from there on and I recommend him to everyone who wants to open a new account. He was friendly, nice and very laidback and so is the rest of the staff there. I can't believe I didn't consider opening a new account with them sooner. The most shocking part was that they were able to make my ATM card right then and there and give it me! That's amazing because I don't think any of the other banks do that. Love this place and if there's anyone who lives in the Pasadena area is considering switching banks, please consider Lockheed and get Anthony to help you! P.S. A few weeks I opened up an account with Logix in Burbank. I needed to buy a used car and needed a loan. This is my first Credit Union and was referred here by a co-worker. I was very pleased by how easy it was to open up my account here. Ken Nersisyan was the Chief financial officer who helped me that day. I let him know why I was there for and what I wanted from Logix. He was very helpful from the begining. When I was ready to finance my used car from a dealer Ken told me to take it back. I had been charged more than I should have. When I went to the dealer I was able to lower the price of the car by negotiating a better rate. Because of Ken's advice I saved $1,500 by threatening to return the vehicle to the dealer. I am very appreciative of what Ken has done for me. I was able to get a super low APR on my loan, because of my good credit. More so I can get a better APR in a few Months, just by bumping my Credit Score a few points higher. Who knew I could have done all of this within a week of signing up with logix. I got more confidence after going in and speaking with Ken. Somehow hearing about the different services and options we have as consumers made me feel more confident. I will keep spreading the word to friends and family. STAY AWAY from this bank, it is the worst. They asses fees when your account isn't even negative. $90 dollars worth of NOS fees when my account was not negative. Customer service was no help. I would gladly pay the fees on my account if it is negative and I have in the past. I been with Logix for years and every time I need something they have always been there for me. Yesterday I needed to buy a used car for my son. I got a pretty good price on the car, but the dealer wanted me to buy the gap and extended warranty for a total of $2616.00. Denise in the loan centered helped me out and saved me just over $1500.00 on the car buy telling me that I could get the same extended warranty and gap insurance through Logix for only $1065.00. I have all of my accounts with Lockheed and have never even visited a branch! You can pull cash out (or visit a teller) at many of the shared branches. If you withdraw $ from another institution and incur a "service fee," Lockeed automatically refunds it back to your account. Just got off the phone with them re 2 items I need to dispute with merchants and they walked me through the process. I have a great mortgage rate too. I'm a fan! read more

They lost my Master Card money order payment I mailed on 5/1/15, for my payment date of the twenty-fifth and blamed it on the Post Office, after they had issued a company wide email, 5/5/15, stating they were having issues with the "third party" processing system they use. Totally trying to put the "lost" money order on the Post Office instead of accepting responsibility. Now they expect me to pay twice for the same bill?! Fat chance that is going to happen no matter what it does to my credit rating! read more

Be careful that you need to pay the interest rate if your loan is due already for the promotion duration and don't believe the due date on the statement. Although the column of the Cash Advance expiration date is shown on the statement, but they intentionally don't put the date there. Hope you will forgot and they can charge you!! Had the worst chat interaction with a customer service representative (Ariel) which is why I'm posting this on the Burbank Location since that is LFCU's headquarters. Didn't even bother to verify my account before discussing what she couldn't do for me. I've always liked LFCU because their representatives have always had a "Can do" attitude..but this rep just didn't seem very interested in assisting me. I've been a member of Logix for several years and I am always amazed at how great of an institution they are! The service level harkens back to a bygone day when customer service used to mean something to companies. I can tell that Logix trains their employees, as they use simple terms like "please" and "thank you", which other institutions have forgotten! I am currently working with Julio E. (Burbank Location) on a auto loan and he could not have made the transaction any easier. His customer service and knowledge of the products and process made for a seamless transaction. I hate to write bad reviews but I feel that I need to so I can well inform anyone thinking about banking with this financial institution. First I want to start with your ATM's. They Suck. They don't always accurately read or accept my checks or cash. I applied for a refinancing for my car because it had a high interest rate due to low credit score because of my student loans. I fixed my loans and my credit score went up. I went with Logix to refinance my loans and had been already pre-approved to get it refinanced. The person that was supposed to help me with my Auto loans was Erick Cuevas whom I sent documents too on May 22nd and followed every direction that he had asked. Tick Tock. Day by day. He didn't even get back to me until June 18th the following after emailing him to remind him that I've been waiting, only to find out that I've been declined the next day. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Looking for a credit union to finance my newly bought used car was so easy cause I was already part of Logix. I called their loan # and it was immediately answered by John Dorey. I am not surprised because Logix does not have robots answering their phones and you really get a person who answers right away and so eager to help you in any situation. John Dorey made " everything" easy for me . Everything was done electronically and I was so impressed that I could not believe it that it was just that quick. John was professional, articulate, well knowledgeable and accommodating. He also was good in updating the customers about the status of their application. I went to Logix for a car loan because I remembered my wife used them years back for a student loan and was pretty happy with them. Julio was able to help me with a Cash Out Refi on my car. He was on top of things and was able to get a certified check to me for the amount I needed in about a week. It's just another bank on the block. Nothing special here. I thought credit unions are different ..

This credit union is god awful. My review has been removed after giving my true and honest opinion and I've seen other one star reviews removed as well. First, I will state that I joined this credit union from seeing the amazing reviews on here, and after speaking to their representatives, I was told that if any emergencies in my life occurred, that gave me trouble making payments, that I should call them and let them know. They told me some of the different ways they would help me if I lost my job. Well test time came, a year ago I lost my job. I called them and they said sorry we can't help you. We require you to have an income to help you. I told them that if I had an income I would not need to call them, because it wouldn't be an emergency. They could not help me. So they could not follow through on the benefit that was advertised. It was a bait and switch. Later, I learned about one way they have of helping people, through payment deferment. They can defer a payment for a month. You still owe that payment, but it's paid / owed to your last months payment. I was grateful to take this option with them on November 2016. I had rated them highly in 2015 due to my pleasant initial experience. I kept that rating when I was able to take the deferment as well. Two days ago, when my regular monthly payment was due, they randomly decided to also charge me for the payment deferment I made, in November 2016. So my account was double charged. I called my account manager thinking I could explain the misunderstanding and I was as civil and calm as I could be. He proceeded to argue with me and said that there was no such thing as payment deferment and that I was trying to avoid paying what I owed. Thats when I lost it. He said because I had not paid in November, that logix was taking what they are owed by me. I had no heads up and my bank account was overdrawn, and it is still overdrawn, accumulating fees from my bank every day, until I put money inside of it. I can't put money inside of it because like most of us, I get paid every couple weeks, and I have other obligations to pay, such as rent, food etc. So now, I have to pay the fee the bank is charging me for the deficient funds (caused by logix taking money without my permission) I have to save, for the next payment, AND still fulfill all of life's obligations. This credit union is absolute trash. If they have to have bad reviews removed, that is an indicator of how much work they put in to keeping their image. I asked my account manager if I can speak to someone above him to explain my situation, and he said there was no one above him. Surely someone decides on his performance. Someone hires and fires employees. When you look online, there is a list of people higher up in the hierarchy of this credit union. Beware, that they do well by having negative reviews removed, and keeping the 5 star reviews. It's easy to give 5 stars when you are promised low interest and benefits. I've been with them for 3 years, and can vow to never return. I've never understood how awful bait and switch is, until I've experienced it with Logix. They have a professional who responds to these one stars, who acts respectful, and polite, as if they want to help you, in order to help keep their image. This is so that when you read the review, you feel their attentive, caring and there for you. Please take my warning and go elsewhere. Don't fall for the wolf in sheeps clothing. read more

Our experience with Logix began when we met Vanik, awesome personal banker. My better half and I were stuck in a situation that required a small personal loan to get back on our feet. Not only did he understand our situation but he made sure to use "reverse psychology" to make sure we didn't get just half the good news. Long story short we were able to put a deposit on an apartment we loved after 2 months of living in California from New York and being able to settle in to what we considered the perfect place. Will not only just recommend this bank but definitely do business with him if you have the opportunity.
