I hate to write bad reviews but I feel that I need to so I can well inform anyone thinking about banking with this financial institution. First I want to start with your ATM's. They Suck. They don't always accurately read or accept my checks or cash. I applied for a refinancing for my car because it had a high interest rate due to low credit score because of my student loans. I fixed my loans and my credit score went up. I went with Logix to refinance my loans and had been already pre-approved to get it refinanced. The person that was supposed to help me with my Auto loans was Erick Cuevas whom I sent documents too on May 22nd and followed every direction that he had asked. Tick Tock. Day by day. He didn't even get back to me until June 18th the following after emailing him to remind him that I've been waiting, only to find out that I've been declined the next day. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was approved for an auto loan refinance from this bank through a company called RateGenius, they saved me 2% in interest and gave me the option to extend the term of the loan to lower the minimum payment even more, which is great for me since I'm self employed and some months I make less than I expect so it's nice to know that I have the option to pay less if I want to. Also, the first time I called with a question about online banking, the banker offered me a credit card with great terms since they already had a new copy of my credit report, no cash advance fee, no balance transfer fee, flat rate no matter how you borrow the money, cash, purchase or transfer. Just fantastic! I am now looking to refinance my mortgage with them and I know I will have a great experience. I wish they have a branch where I live I'd love to switch all my banking to them. read more

I'm very pleased with my auto loan since the rate was extremely low. The Banking Associate who handled my request, Julio Espiritu, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the entire process and was very responsive and proactive. The process from applying to obtaining the loan approval took only two days. I first opened a checking account at the Burbank location because I prefer credit unions over banks and they offered free checking. About 6 months later, I got a car financed through Logix at a phenomenal rate and the process was smooth. Then I opened a credit line at the best rate I've had to date, 8.25%! I've since moved to Las Vegas and have been here over a year but continue to bank with Logix. I can do all my banking online and can make deposits with a partnering credit union in Vegas if need be. I, like many other recent college grads, have had trouble navigating through and understanding my new world of personal finances. After my brother's insistence to check out Logix, I decided apply for an auto loan with them. I went on a Friday afternoon and met with Ken Nersisyan. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Having this be my first time applying for an auto loan on my own, he made it a very smooth and easy process, advising me every step of the way on the best loan options for me and even car options. After getting pre-qualified for the auto loan at an AMAZINGLY low interest rate, I decided to open a checking and savings account as well (liberating me from the bank fees I used to pay at Wells Fargo). Ken also advised me and assisted me in opening a new credit card account that same day. We transferred my existing credit card balance to my new credit account (10% lower interest rate than my existing credit card account and 0% for the first year!!). This is now saving me from throwing away hundreds of dollars paying the astronomical monthly interest charges on my old credit card account. As if it couldn't get any better, Logix offered to help me in my car search with their in-house Auto Expert advisor, Jeff Grosz. After a few days and a few phone calls, Jeff was able to find an amazing deal for me on my new car and trade-in. I didn't even think it was possible for me to afford a brand new car! The next Friday, I simply went to pick up my brand new Honda Civic, left my old Saturn Ion, signed the paperwork and the rest was taken care of. Given my experiences with banks, I was a bit guarded at first, but there was absolutely no reason to be. I went to Logix for a car loan because I remembered my wife used them years back for a student loan and was pretty happy with them. Julio was able to help me with a Cash Out Refi on my car. He was on top of things and was able to get a certified check to me for the amount I needed in about a week. It was a real easy process and I would definitely look to them again for my next loan. read more

This credit union is god awful. My review has been removed after giving my true and honest opinion and I've seen other one star reviews removed as well. First, I will state that I joined this credit union from seeing the amazing reviews on here, and after speaking to their representatives, I was told that if any emergencies in my life occurred, that gave me trouble making payments, that I should call them and let them know. They told me some of the different ways they would help me if I lost my job. Well test time came, a year ago I lost my job. I called them and they said sorry we can't help you. We require you to have an income to help you. I told them that if I had an income I would not need to call them, because it wouldn't be an emergency. They could not help me. So they could not follow through on the benefit that was advertised. It was a bait and switch. Later, I learned about one way they have of helping people, through payment deferment. They can defer a payment for a month. You still owe that payment, but it's paid / owed to your last months payment. I was grateful to take this option with them on November 2016. I had rated them highly in 2015 due to my pleasant initial experience. I kept that rating when I was able to take the deferment as well. Two days ago, when my regular monthly payment was due, they randomly decided to also charge me for the payment deferment I made, in November 2016. So my account was double charged. I called my account manager thinking I could explain the misunderstanding and I was as civil and calm as I could be. He proceeded to argue with me and said that there was no such thing as payment deferment and that I was trying to avoid paying what I owed. Thats when I lost it. He said because I had not paid in November, that logix was taking what they are owed by me. I had no heads up and my bank account was overdrawn, and it is still overdrawn, accumulating fees from my bank every day, until I put money inside of it. I can't put money inside of it because like most of us, I get paid every couple weeks, and I have other obligations to pay, such as rent, food etc. So now, I have to pay the fee the bank is charging me for the deficient funds (caused by logix taking money without my permission) I have to save, for the next payment, AND still fulfill all of life's obligations. This credit union is absolute trash. If they have to have bad reviews removed, that is an indicator of how much work they put in to keeping their image. I asked my account manager if I can speak to someone above him to explain my situation, and he said there was no one above him. Surely someone decides on his performance. Someone hires and fires employees. When you look online, there is a list of people higher up in the hierarchy of this credit union. Beware, that they do well by having negative reviews removed, and keeping the 5 star reviews. It's easy to give 5 stars when you are promised low interest and benefits. I've been with them for 3 years, and can vow to never return. I've never understood how awful bait and switch is, until I've experienced it with Logix. They have a professional who responds to these one stars, who acts respectful, and polite, as if they want to help you, in order to help keep their image. This is so that when you read the review, you feel their attentive, caring and there for you. Please take my warning and go elsewhere. Don't fall for the wolf in sheeps clothing. read more

As a long time, unhappy, bewildered and abused member of the ridiculously inept and overwhelmingly "NO WAY" UME Federal Credit Union, I finally decided to just close my accounts and then found the YELP reviews for LOGIX FCU. There are not enough words to adequately express my gratitude for this FANTASTIC organization of happy, smart people who truly want to help everyone and have the brains, the attitude, and the ability, to do so. If you are looking for human contact, these people, their offices, locations, parking, and the environment, are superb. If you are prefer online communication this is for you! I opened 2 personal accounts, applied for, and was quickly approved, for a low interest car loan with credit report only. I also received a high balance, low interest, platinum credit card without ever having to go in to a branch or meet face-to-face until the car seller and I met at the Burbank office to sign the final car papers which took 5 minutes, thanks Antonia! My loan officer, Denise Gomez, was fabulous, easy to contact, available when I needed her, creative, smart and very nice - she did everything necessary to enable me to wrap it up and drive away in my new car the same day. Upon walking into this facility I was immediately impressed by the wonderfully courteous staff. They offered coffee & bottled water, as well as allowing me to help myself to lollipops. Good rates, but quality of service has MUCH to be desired. Recently opened up a HELOC. The loan documents were drawn up with an incorrect address that was spotted by me and we had to hand correct the documents and initial each correction on each page. In addition, the loan did not close until more than a week after docs were signed, even though we were told that it would be three days. Thank goodness I wasn't depending on the funds being available when I was told they would be. I called about this and was told they would look into why the delay and would call me back. I made multiple calls because the loan officer didn't call back when she said she would. Finally, I did receive a call to say that the loan had funded and they blamed it on the county delaying everyone's recording of loans. Also, I put in a poor review last week on their website... not sure why it isn't showing... I guess they filter out the less than desirable reviews. I was called by someone from Logix that day, I could not talk at the time of the initial call and asked they call later and the person said they would definitely be calling me back at 4:00 that day, (October 26) I'm still waiting to hear from that person. Their customer service has diminished tremendously and their actions, or lack thereof, show how important quality customer service means to them. I'm very disappointed because I have been a member for more than 30 years and have always thought the service has been good until now. read more

I wanted to write this review about a gentleman named Marcelo Morales loan officer in the Burbank location. I live in Northern California The Silicon Valley area , some of my family live in the LA area and use Logix for all their banking needs. So I decided to give it a try I opened up an account checking and savings and then wanted to look into a car loan. I spoke to with Marcello and with just some normal information he got me the loan I was looking for. I was so impressed that I decided to also apply for the platinum credit card which he also took care of for me with no problem. I don't think I have ever been more satisfied with a financial institution and its customer service in my entire life (sounds exaggerated, but I'm being quite frank). After already being interested in opening an account at Logix (Burbank branch), I finally had the motivation to do so thanks to the encouragement a teller there by the name of David. David was very friendly and kindly explained every detail I needed to know regarding the accounts I wanted to open. Unlike at other banks, it felt like David and the other staff at Logix actually had MY best interest at heart. After successfully opening my accounts, I also mentioned to him that I was interested in refinancing my car loan. He immediately directed me to the right person, Natalie Worsham. Besides being super kind and giving off such a great friendly vibe, Natalie was very attentive to my needs and cared to help me get the lowest interest percentage on my car loan. I was beyond satisfied with how quickly she went through the process and she successfully helped me attain the 1.99% on my loan ! I couldn't be happier. I was so content that she even motivated me to apply for the platinum credit (which i did get). I basically left with the whole package; two accounts, a credit car, and a new car loan! Overall, my experience at Logix was FAR BEYOND satisfactory in comparison to my experiences at all other financial institutions combined. I read the reviews for Logix & was pleasantly surprised at the percentage of people using this credit union that absolutely loved it. So I decided I would go down & meet with them to see if it was a good fit for me & I am so happy I did!
