service was so terrible, i was inspired to finally make a yelp account i came in as a walk in Thursday evening to finalize an auto loan & the woman in the lobby who greeted me knew i didn't have an appointment then asked for me to have a seat. i took my seat at 330pm & the usual blonde lobby leader woman told me trisha might be able to assist me before her 5pm apt. yet, never made it clear if anyone would be able to help me if trisha couldn't EVEN AFTER I MENTIONED ANYONE BUT TRISHA COULD HELP ME. i finally sat down with Ana at 515pm who didn't even help me finish processing my 98% done auto loan. Trisha then rudely interrupted & asked for me to leave & reschedule an appt with her. Couple mins later, Ana had to clock out, so i was in the lobby once again. it was now 5:35 & a walk in who came in after me sat with Eugene.........i literally saw eugene help two other walk in customers who arrived long after me as i was there still patiently waiting............5:45 & i finally meet w Karo who finally helped me & made sure i got it all done. if i hadnt met with Freddy a week before when he helped me open my new checking acc & karo wasn't my last impression, this would've definitely been my worst customer service experience ever. I have been a member of Logix (Lockheed C U) for more than a year. They're very convenient when it comes to car loans. I refinanced two of my cars. I was approved within 2 hrs after I applied over the phone. No paystubs, taxes, bank statements, etc.. or excessive paperwork was needed as I had experienced with other credit unions. Also I just received a letter from Logix that they deposited $100 into my savings account just for being a loyal customer as they share their earnings with their members. I have never had that kind of experience with any other bank. I'm very happy to be a member of Logix. I recommend Logix to my friends and family all the time. read more

I did some shopping around to find a low interest rate as the rate I currently had on my auto loan was 5.49%. I applied for a loan (refinance an auto loan) through Logix Federal Credit Union (I actually applied online) and I was quickly notified that I had been approved and that my interest rate was what I was wanting it to be (I have a pretty good credit score). I worked with a gentlemen by the name of Josh. He was fantastic! He rates a 10+ for customer satisfaction. My loan process was so easy and so quick - I was blown away! I wanted to make sure that this employee gets recognized 100%. He was really helpful and helped through out my credit card process. I initially went to the Pasadena branch to apply for a credit card and the employee that started the process was not helpful at all. He seemed annoyed because I was asking questions. It might of been questions that he thought had the obvious answer however it was my first time so I wanted to make sure of what I was doing. My mom also went in to try and get her car refinanced and he was completely rude to her that she decided not to go through with the process. Since I was referred to them by my friend she told me to go to the Burbank branch. I was then helped by Karo Gyurjyan. Like I said, he was very helpful and answered all my questions. I had my car refinanced over a the phone in A breeze. The representative was so professional.

After carrying a six- figure Logix credit card balance and paying them close to $100 monthly interest and always making on- time payments for several years, I finally was able to pay off my card. Within a week, I received a letter informing me that a $5 per month low-balance maintenance fee would now be assessed unless I either boosted my credit card debt, or keep $1,000 on deposit. I belong to five other credit unions and have never seen this kind of BofA.-style nickel and diming , money squeezing B.S at any credit union. Wrote a much more polite, complaint letter to acarpenter@lockheedfcu.org (Chief Op Ofc) and afonseca@lockheedfcu.org (CFO) and neither responded. I closed my account yesterday. You can do much better elsewhere. Try NASA credit union, which is open to the public if you buy a one time association membership of around $20 if I recall the amount correctly, or try PenFed. Say goodbye to Hollywood. read more

This credit union is a dream. Convenient with consistently competent and friendly people to assist at the branch. The app is user friendly and always works well. When you call customer service...you will never believe what happens: A PERSON ANSWERS!! AND THEN THEY HELP YOU!! They even create reward systems...the kind that give you money! Usually I would have given this credit union five stars, but the level of service I have received this past week has been the worst I have ever experienced. I deposited a cashier's check into the ATM, and they have a hold on that check for over a week. They claim that the ATM transaction wouldn't show them a check image, so they could not help me release the funds I needed for an emergency. When I showed them the ATM receipt with the cashier's check image on it, transaction date, check number, and amount they told me that this did not show anything and that there was nothing they could do to help me. I have accounts at different financial institutions, but Logix is the where I do all my banking, get all my lending, and have referred countless of friends and family members, and to have them not even consider an alternative or make an exception leaves me very disappointed and wondering if I even want to continue building a relationship with a bank that treats their members that way. read more

She was very friendly, caring, understanding, and a great personality. She took her time with explaining everything to me. She was not rushing me nor was she pushing me into anything. It didn't matter how many questions I asked, she took her time to explained and was not at annoyed. She is a great asset to Logix. She really needs to be compensated for work. I recently opened a checking account online with this credit union. I was referred to the organization through a website listing free checking account. I do not live in California, but I was looking for a totally free checking account for online sales that I would not need to put a lot of work into maintaining. Unfortunately, the experience I was provided was terrible. I was called no less than 5 times about why I was applying for a checking account when I lived out of state. I explained my online sales goal, but it was strange that a credit union would be so averse to new customers. I was approved for an account, but it was arbitrarily closed without notice to me at all. I received a check in the mail and called to inquire as to why, and I was told my account was still open. When I tried to transfer money into the account, it failed. I had to call again, and this time I was told the account had been closed and I should have received a letter. Of course, I had not. Again, I was asked why I wanted to open an account with them since I didn't live in California. They scoffed at the idea that I had found out about it online and impliedly accused me of using the account for fraud. The guy on the phone then told me that the account was closed because they could not verify some "contact information." However, he could not tell me anything specific. I asked him if there was a way I could verify the information, but he said there was not. Overall, worst experience I have ever had with a bank / credit union. If they do not want new customers, that is probably good because their service is nothing short of hostile and pathetic. Update: Even after all of this refusal to help, I am still getting spammed with their postal mail. Unbelievable. read more

Ive been with logix since May of 2013 I have my truck threw the company and also a credit card. Before I was paying my credit card over the phone electronic check they were putting holds on my payments. And every time I asked them about it they stated it was policy procedure nobody ever told me about any of the payment methods. Now just here in I paid off my credit card and now they have just reversed a payment a cancelled in June here in July. I called the company told them that I has to cancel the payment and bofa called logix and told them the payment was cancelled way before any holds were to fall off. So they hit me with a reverse payment plus interest after I was told I was paid off nothing but problems with this credit union. And the vice president john raymmond even admites to it being there fault our on his words sorry we dropped the ball on this one. read more

So far I am very pleased with Logix. I was looking to consolidate bills and I happened to find Logix when I googled "best 0% interest credit cards" (running a promo or at least the time I applied), they were listed on a site I found. I am out of state and I never heard of them before, so I researched them a little and after reading reviews, I thought I would give it a shot. they had lied outright to my face and basically told me i was getting a lower rate. they did not tell me it was a discounted rate because of my account was set up. then when it had changed, they increased my interest rate because they told me the discount did not apply anymore! stay away from this place! it was too good to be true! and it is! it is now biting me in the a*s! self yourself some trouble and go somewhere else! yeah the people are nice but i found out most of the 'great' reviews are from the people that work there. what a joke. read more

Joined for a credit card. Now got a notice that they are instating a new "low balance" fee of 5 dollars a month (if you don't have $1000+ loan/debt/savings). That, for me, is 60 dollars annually to have a credit card that is supposed to be free. Sorry that my debt is not larger. I am one of those people who lives modestly and went to a credit union to escape these made up fees. They were not there when I joined. I called up the bank and they said a lot of people are "using them as their secondary bank". Excuse me but you're not my husband, It's the Credit Card Market so to talking about loyalty is a bit far-fetched and pompous. I am already paying interest. I plan to pay off my balance and close this account despite a hit on my credit score, because I am done with these nonsensical fees. I have recommended your bank to friends before but won't do that any longer, I recommend California Credit Union that doesn't have fees or Beneficial State Bank that has fees but invests in green initiatives.
