STAY AWAY from this company. Their customer service is non existent. We used them for almost 5 years, and could never get our account manager to return calls. When trying to talk to the supervisor - Erika- it was the same thing. They will not return calls. I am a C level executive and the CEO refused to communicate with another CEO. When I finally got approval to exit my contract without penalties, they sent an invoice for 495.00 disconnect fee and now this month I receive yet another invoice for February totaling 4500.00. All this for trying to get reliable service and when I didn't, then I requested to get out of my contract. And even after I was approved to terminate without penalties. STAY AWAY. I actually found another company that provides the same service for less than a third of what they charge. They are not customer service oriented and only trying to grab as much money as they can. If i could give a 0 I would! We had their service for years and when it came time to move, I couldn't get our account manager to contact me back in order to see if they could service us. Finally after we moved and they sent an invoice for over $5000 she responded that they don't service my current address and put in a dispute. I then received another invoice with $5k + late fees and still nothing from my account rep. I called the customer service number and finally got someone helpful, she called and left me a voicemail stating she got it cleared up and I didn't owe anything. Months later a rep, Tonie, calls has a ton of attitude and is RUDE. Call didn't go well to say the least, I followed it up with an email with all of my documentation and was told it was escalated. I agree with all of these reviews, the customer service team does not help you and never accepts responsibilities for mistakes. Our company has never been late with mailing a payment and all payments have cleared ten or eleven days prior to the 20th of each month due date. When you ask why the check is cleared and not applied to account they blame it on the "bank" and that they never see the checks that go into a lock box. Twice now they have said they didn't receive payment with the check cleared!!! Then they take forever to fix it, so twice we got late charges 3 months in a row (6 months total). And every late fee is around $60 dollars plus a finance charge. We are changing companies as soon as possible. Do not use this company! read more

This review is based on trying to end a 20 year relationship by porting out an existing Logix number to a new carrier. There was quite a bit of unclear communication from several members of the Logix team, which ended up with my phone number being disconnected before the port out occurred. We asked them to reinstate the number to do the port out, since it was clear that's what we've been trying to do for several weeks, but they wanted to charge us almost $400 to do this. Although one customer service representative was sympathetic, the result was the same. Based on a 20 year association with Logix, this experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth. Read the fine print, and definitely document everything. Don't expect them to anticipate any questions on your end or to walk you through what should have been a simple process. read more

Logix practices a modern day CORPORATE SHAKEDOWN. First of all, with all the advanced technology today there is no reason to use the antiquated services at Logix Fiber Networks. No wifi really, isn't it 2021? Do yourself a favor and DON'T get involved with this highway robbery of a company. The building I leased in had Logix installed in the building so back in 2005 I signed on for phone and internet service. I still had to get my own modem but wifi wasn't popular yet. I stayed with them for the next 15 years because it wasn't broke and not so over priced that I stopped to shop a new company. Fast forward 15 years and in the middle of Covid, I moved my office to a new, smaller location. I was very surprised to learn when calling to disconnect that there would be a $250 disconnect fee. Really?! At that time, I ask that they consider waiving the fee since I don't believe I was still in contract and had been a loyal customer for the last 15 years. The very nice customer rep said she would file my request. I paid my final invoice and thought that was the end of it. I guess my request was denied because I continue to get invoices, WITH INTEREST from Logix for almost a year now. They've even now sent it to a collection agency. When I've called in the past to rectify this, there seems to be no one that has the authority to do anything beyond submit a request. I'm hoping Scott B. When you cancel service with them and even you had confirmation for the cancelation, that means nothing to them. They will continues charge your account and nonstop send you a monthly invoices. I was encouraged to use Logix fiber networks by my technology company to replace AT&T. Everything was fine until we moved. Our previous business office was in a building that was broken into several times. We felt unsafe and moved to an office condo that I purchased. Unfortunately, LOGIX was unable to provide service at our new location. Our tech company and our Logix sales rep said that since they could not provide service, and we had their service for 24 months, that they would just cancel the contract. They both informed me that this was standard procedure. To my surprise, LOGIX send a demand letter for approximately 10k. I called them to discuss it and I was told my case was being sent to a committee to determine the next steps. I then received another email offering a 35% discount. I refused to pay stating that number one... I was told that the contract is normally waived, and two, that why should I pay for a service they can't provide. After going back and forth, I said I'm refusing to pay, and that they were treating me unfairly. I don't recommend doing business with these people and their unsavory business practices. I hope these folks go out of business. They won't see a dime from me. I would never change anyone for a service I could not provide. A business has to be really really really bad, corrupt, or have deceptive practices for me to give this low of a rating and LOGIX Fiber Networks absolutely deserves this. I wish we could have ratings without stars. I kept thinking if we gave them second chances things will get better but their tactics to force you paying them are deceptive and dirty. 2 years ago for our screen printing shop in Dallas/Fort Worth area, we tried to switch to a different carrier who could cut our bill in half for internet and phone. Our bill was over $850 a month for lines that we didn't even use and for basic internet (not even fiber). When we tried to switch, they held our phone number hostage and wouldn't allow the new carrier to have it. Then they threatened they would shut off our phone service within a day unless we signed a new multi-year contract with them. Since our small business relies heavily on phone calls, we couldn't afford to have our phone number changed or cut off, so we ended up signing another contract with them. They promised us fiber connections and we had more issues with the "fiber" and the internet was slower than when we had basic internet with Logix. Now that the contract is up, we decided to switch carriers. Our office manager called twice to let Logix know that we were cancelling and the second time, the lady from Logix even said we might get a refund since our account was on auto draft and it probably had already pulled the money out. We have finally made the transition to the new carrier 2.5 months ago and today we get a bill for almost $6,000!!! They are now saying that once a contract ends, it auto-renews on its own. When our office manager called TWICE, no one from Logix ever said anything about out account being under a contract before we cancelled our service. I believe this is extremely deceptive and dirty business practice. After receiving the bill, our office manager called to dispute the bill and said that it was never mentioned that we were under a new contract and they agreed to reduce it to $3500. This is still way too much and hitting us at a time where we have had to close our business due to COVID-19's shelter in place orders. This is money that we could pay our rent or payroll so we will fight this until the end before we pay. Lastly, when we went online to undo the autodraft from our bank, Logix has blocked that feature and will not let unenroll our bank's autodraft of payment!! I am not sure that is even legal and will be contacting the AG's office to determine our rights. DO NOT go with this company for your telecom services! You will regret it and it will be sooo difficult to get out once you realize you are paying twice as much for Logix as other carriers in the area. And looking at the other reviews now, I think the Attorney General and BBB might have a new business to look into for unethical business practices. read more

I do I.T for a business of around 200 users here and in other states and the quality of services we get has been good. even with outages which is rare for my location the turn around time is fast and our business has not suffered a massive lost do to something like that that can cripple your day of productivity and results. If only there was a negative score. We have had a small-business account with this scammy company for over three years. We never got the bandwidth promised (usually it was close, but dropped a lot during the day - meaning we were sharing with others) and have been trying to cancel now for over a week. They told me someone with the Quality Assurance group would call me back within 2 business days. After 4 days, I called back in. I was told that they could see the cancellation request order but there had been no action on it. I used to love Logix. Not anymore... Several customers frequently go down. Their peering with PSINet is completely unreliable. Support used to be very good (2-3 years ago) but now it's awful. Problem resolutions are never noted in their tickets so when they reoccur, support has to start from scratch. I'm recommending that all of my Logix fiber customers change to another ISP. Stay away! Their customer service is horrible. The acquired company Alpheus communication was a bad choice. Slow speed with high price. They will intentionally start different service on different dates so that you are locked into your 3 years contract at different date and when you give them in advance notice, they will charge the early termination fee even if you stay with them past 3 years because they split each service and want you to have 3 years at each service. It's a trick! When you reason with them and ask for service, it's horrible. They back each other up so that you would need to pay the early termination fee regardless if you've been their customer for over 3 years. BEWARE folks. We were able to get 4 times faster speed at similar if not cheaper price. Needless to say, it was a bad experience. read more

Not only was I left on hold for more than 20 min each time, the rep was not helpful. One rep told she didn't know why the line was disconnected and that no credit would be issued for their mistake! I had five reps tell me they will call me back after they get with the manager and discuss the issue and I haven't received one call back yet! They are quick to take customers money but can not help at all when trying to ask simple things about a account. POOR POOR - Our 11 business lines have been out over 24 hours. Called Customer Service and each person that I was passed or transferred states "we are working on it", or "they have been dispatched out", now this morning - no service and it is an ATT problem. They found an additional problem yesterday about 2:00 pm, but had to wait to come back out the next day to repair. Now they can't give me a time or estimate that it will be repaired. Times are tough enough in our business, we can't afford to go 24 to 30 hours without an telephone service. Our office has a contract with them already and we are adding a fax service. I've contacted several different people with questions and it's like pulling teeth to get a response. It really seems as if they don't care now that we have renewed our contract. I will advise our office NOT to renew with these people again. The contract auto-renewed when we did not want it to do so and we could not cancel it unless we paid in full for every month remaining of the "new" contract term IN ADDITION TO other cancellation fees. The internet has been spotty and their customer service is terrible. They've also randomly changed the billing cycle at various points to 20 days. What is that?! The bill is nearly $800/month because of all of the extra fees that they tacked on and didn't tell us about in the original quote. Had Logix for 2 years. Tried not to renew last year, but was told that I had to inform them 30 days prior to the anniversary date. If you miss that cancellation window, you are stuck with them for another year. So last year I told them I do not want to renew in 2020. No problem except that, apparently, I also had to specifically ask them to disconnect my service. My request not to renew was not enough. So I needed another 30 day notice to disconnect. Today I got a bill for over $500.00 comprising of service charges for the 30 days I did not use the service as well as a $250.00 disconnect fee. When I complained, they pointed me to the contract I signed which in essence says I agree to all the fees and charges they publish on their web site and the fee and charge schedule becomes part of the contract. Obviously, the sales guy has never mentioned any of this! If this sounds reasonable to you, go for it. read more
